"That is not your responsibility." Xïsa said, and he appeared right next to him, and gave him an uppercut. While his fist was still in contact with Grim, He said " Dragon of the Moonless Night, Send this foe away." Then the dragon then bit down on and pushed Grim away. He then made a barrier, in this little valley, where Jasmine and he was. "Go kill the other her. There is no way you can enter here." He told Grim, he then walked towards Jasmine and turn her over. "Stand up, Jasmine Loque." He said

Grim pounded on the barrier.
"Dammit!" he growled, "You bastard!"
He yelled then took a step back, he wasn't about to go to Volkmar, all he could do was watch this new fight... at least he managed to break his armor.

Jasmine tensed as she heard the commotion, and she could feel the footsteps of Xisa approaching. Grim wasn't there looking out for her anymore, but he sounded more than just a little angry.
"Jeilzu..." Jasmine spoke softly as Xisa reached out to her and grabbed her.
"...bleiri chen," she finished her incantation rather calmly as Xisa turned her over - flames burst over Xisa's hand shortly after he touched her. Quickly rolling to the side, Jasmine got to her feet and tried to put some distance between her and Xisa.
Her hands fell to her sides, balled into fists, though still shaking slightly.
"I'm not scared of you..." Jasmine shakily spat.

"Jasmine, I do not want you to be afraid of me." He said as he looked at his hand. He placed his hand in the sand. "I want you to fight me, and die. This is will not be a hand- to- hand fight, purely magical fight. If you refused, I will kill you with one spell."

Jasmine stared at Xisa for a long moment. A fight? He wanted her to fight him. Why was it that it always came down to this whenever she met up with Xisa Tyrant?
...Well, except at the ball. He apparently wanted a dance with her, then. Before that he wanted a fight, and here they were now.
'I guess I have nowhere to run, now. Andy, I have to do this for you...if you want to see me again, that is.'
She didn't have a connection with the gods, she only had the spells in her head and the spells in her book to help her.
"I...I'm not refusing," she answered Xisa firmly, "a-and I won't lose, either!"
She didn't know why, but she seemed so sure of it. She had to be, if she wasn't...
'Andy...'

"That is good to hear." He put the sword in the sand, and stood in a pose. He then mutter something and then a blue ball formed at the end of his hand "Wevli" The ball of concentrated wind and water, was fired at Jasmine.

Volkmar started to slam his swords into the barrier. "Damn, why is he wanting to fight her?" he asked.

Jasmine stared wide-eyed at the spell coming towards her, muttering "zuto" as it neared. Just before the wind/water ball hit her, a large dome-like barrier formed over Jasmine. The spell collided with the barrier, not only deflected but also shattering Jasmine's defence as well, the girl was blown backwards in recoil from the spell impact.
She looked back at Xisa. "Jeilzu, bleiri chen," was what came out of her mouth again and as it did, a small ball of fire blasted itself towards him. She didn't have much for offensive attacks, she knew, so she had to think of something else she could hit him with soon.

Xïsa sidestep and let the spell past him. He then pointed with 2 fingers at her and then said "Noxi!" The ground where she stood glow green and started to spew a poisonous gas.

The ground released the gas around Jasmine and she took a startled step back. Using her long sleeve, she covered her mouth and nose and seemingly instinctively muttered, "mala aki!" to bring a small gust of wind from above to blow the fumes away from her.
As Xisa's spell was repelled again, Jasmine's memory flipped through her spellbook. There was so much to remember, and she knew a lot, but when the time came to pull something out to actually fight with it was difficult to find the right spell to use. Fire. That was all that was coming to her at the moment, but she'd been using fire all along up to this point.
"Altai dovol," Jasmine clasped her hands together and a red circle formed around Xisa's feet. The ground then erupted with fire from where the circle sat.
How petty, it almost mimicked Xisa's attack - that didn't matter, though. What mattered was that she was at least trying to fight back.

Xïsa hopped backward, but the heat was strong. He then he quickly thought up of a spell, that should slow Jasmine down. He ran towards her and then said "I am tired of using small spell on you, Jasmine" he then stuck out both of his hands and said "Crystales." The area went cold and then ice started to cover Jasmine. After she was encased, the ice cracked and fell off of her, ripping pieces of skin off of her.

The ice climbed up and over Jasmine and she desperately tried to think of a way to break free of it before she was entirely closed up inside of it. It moved too fast and she too slow, and as the ice shattered and tore away at her pale skin she let out a painful wail.
It hurt. Everything hurt and she could feel her blood sliding down her body. Jasmine stumbled but still managed to keep standing. Falling back on old habits rather quickly, she began praying to the higher powers of the twilight kingdom for support. She needed something, and though she couldn't expect them to interfere while she was on Earth, it was still a shot she took as she ran out of not necessarily ways of her own to attack Xisa, but the stamina to keep defending herself from his attacks.
Jasmine felt a sharp pain in her chest and an image flashed in her mind; it looked like an empty, dying field in grayscale. The silhouetted shape of a person very familiar to her loomed ahead, almost expecting Jasmine to find them. What was it? Why did this image come to her? However as quickly as it came, it faded but the pain in her chest merely dulled itself for only a short time.
'Give me that strength to overcome it...I don't need to be strong, I just need to pull through...'
Jasmine prayed, but made no other motion to attack Xisa. She shook, grabbed at her chest, and breathed heavily.

Xïsa stared at Jasmine. "Praying to your gods? Asking for your forgiveness from your sins? You miserable peasant, praying to your Gods, in your time for misery. They will not answer you, and you will die, for your ignorance." He walked towards her.

Jasmine's eyes widened as Xisa approached, and suddenly Xisa was blocked from her view by the dead field flashing in her mind again. It was creepy, the silhouetted figure from before was not only closer to her this time with a more defined shape (it appeared to be a woman with her hair pulled back), but this instance panicked Jasmine because she couldn't see where Xisa was or what he was doing.
The image disappeared and the pain in her chest dulled again and Xisa was closer. Jasmine took a sharp gasp and the pain in her chest intensified greatly again as the image flashed at her again, the woman stretched her arm out straight for Jasmine.
"Go away. Stay away from me!" Jasmine shrieked out, more to Xisa than anything. In a way, she was curious about the woman trying to grab at her now, she swore she could actually feel a hand gripping at her. But as the image disappeared the pain did not leave or even subside, it struck just as bad as it had before.

"Resistance is futile." He said he stuck his hand out. "Wevli" the small ball was fired at her again.
