Seigmand watched the battlefield as the chaos ensued over the area. Watching the Royals and Heroes fight he couldn't help but look over at Trucido. The man looked calm, unconcerned and Seigmand wanted nothing more than to spit in his face.
You're using us for now Trucido, but we'll see who gets played in the end here. His attention switched back in time to see Volkmar take another quick swipe towards him. Seigmand took a quick stomp with his back foot and a small angled shard of rock jutted up in front of the attack. The stone was sliced through but the angle it had been created in made Volkmar's blade follow the path of least resistance and parried the strike just inches away from Seigmand.
He merely took another hop backwards in order to space the two of them out and was readying his next defense when Andy came out in a blur of speed from the woods. Seigmand stared up at the boy, his eyes wide with surprise as the boy glared back with a intense look of rage. Seeing the black slicing wave go dead center towards him, Seigmand pivoted around on his back foot, leaving him what he had thought was enough time to dodge it. Yet its speed caught him off guard, crashing against his shoulder and sending him reeling to the ground.
He cluched his arm shoulder as the initial pain subsided. A small trickle of blood slid down and stained his robes. If I hadn't had my stone armor in place that might have taken my shoulder right off. Whatever that form of his is, he has the intent to kill now. This could be useful, if he doesn't kill me first.
Seigmand lifted himself up and shouted. "Trucido, get us out of here! This is pointless!"
