She shrugged. "I don't know what happened. All I saw was him pause to speak silently to his inner self, then unleash the thing's mask himself and strike at me with its power." She shook her head. "If it truly did take out Xisa, then we must be careful."

"It almost took out Xisa," he said, "Andy regained control before his other could continue the battle. Nonetheless...he's getting stronger than the Sumata credit him for."
