Jasmine stared at Volkmar uneasily as she answered him with, "U-um...Mr. Gamlxltoe? Are you from Crepusculum itself? Or are you from Earth? It seems we who are native to Crepusculum seem to be able to understand the different languages..."

"V-volk," Jasmine repeated as she raised an eyebrow.
"You really are from Crepusculum? If not, this will only cause you problems," she was sure to repeat herself loudly enough for everyone to hear and hoped that they took the warning seriously, "especially if we break up and have to work together in smaller groups."
She gave the bowl a bit of a shake and welcomed everyone to down the substance inside it.

Kouji gave it a skeptical look.
"That... looks..."
Kouichi elbowed him a little, making it a point to take some of the liquid inside for both he and his brother. He bowed to Jasmine.
"Thank you, Ms. Loque. We really appreciate this effort."
He drank his.
It was.... awful. It felt like his throat was burning, although whether that was the substance itself or the magic within, he couldn't tell. After a few moments, though, the pain subsided.
Kouji, from the looks of things, was suffering a similar experience.

As the heroes began to take their magic medicines, one last figure came through the portal.
Or...fell in, whichever. The tall, thin figure of the red-headed Captain Lana Princel came crashing into the ground, surrounded by the large group of good guys. She cursed loudly as she tumbled, and looked up and stared around her for only a moment before she clapped a hand to her head.
"Oh son. of. a..."

Kouichi blinked in surprise at the Nerezzan Captain's sudden entrance.

Jasmine smiled at Mark.
"Mark, it should help you understand your fellow heroes from Earth as you all seem to speak different languages, coming from different parts of this world," she leaned in a little closer to him to whisper then, "I'd suggest taking a good gulp of it as quickly as you can, otherwise it'll be a much less pleasant of an experience as it could be."
She gave a worried look to Kouji and Kouichi - they didn't seem to be taking it too well.

Lana shot her head in the familiar voice's direction and blinked at Kouichi.
".....YOU! You put a curse on me!" she immediately spat, springing to her feet and almost forgetting that she was quite outnumbered by "the enemy" team.

Jasmine smiled and gave a respectful nod.
"Alright then, but if you do find you are having any difficulties at all, don't hesitate to mention it," she answered Mark warmly before directing her attention to the fallen Sumata captain in their presence.
She blinked.
"I've...seen her before, I know. In Ignis a long time ago, right?" Jasmine tilted her head to the side.

That was only the least of her problems, for the one who heard her yelling was Andy himself. Smirking he walked behind her and grinned slyly.

Did anyone hear that?
It was the sound of something snapping inside of Lana's head. Her eye twitched annoyedly, and her breathing slowed dangerously as she paused her screaming at Kouichi for a moment to straighten herself up and slowly turn towards the orange-haired f***er she remembered only too well.
And surprisingly? She was very calm about it all...
"Well, well, well," she mimicked and was silent yet for another moment before she shot her hands out to strangle him and screamed, "YOU ROTTEN SONOFA****I'LLKILLYOU!!!"
...and then she lost her composure entirely in a fit of rage.

Kouichi blinked again as the short-tempered Captain who'd been nice enough to guide him to his powers launched at an orange-haired hero - the one his brother had been talking to - in a fit of rage.
Kouji looked at him. "...you know that girl?"
Kkouichi shook his head. "...I really don't..."
