"Hmm, A lot of people do not like it, so it is ok." He said as he retracted the whip back towards him. "So, Celes, Where did you come from?" He swung the whip above his head and knocked some brick towards her and the twins.

Kouji smashed the bricks fung towards himself and Kouichi with his staff.
"You'll have to do better than that!"
Kouichi nodded, gripping he nagi with the assurance and ease of practiced use.

"Ok, I will, just for you two." He said as his whip return to him once more. He grabbed a chain around the middle of the chainwhip and he removed it from the whip. He placed it on the hilt, and then his whip split into two. "Better?" He asked tauntly as one whip to each of the boys.

Me and my big mouth... Kouji groaned internally, blocking the whip strike with his nagi. Kouichi just docve out of the way.

Her blade stopped the whip before it could touch him. "Just leave me and them in peace." She swung her blade experimentally in front of her.

Trucido brought his whip back and looked at her. This was the first time he got a really good look at her. He combine the whip and said "Celest, was it? I can not do that, because then I can not make my point. Sorry, but your wish is denied."
All of the segments of his chain whip separated, except for the last six segments closest to the hilt* and started to go in circle, making a sphere between him and the enemies. "It is kinda cold here, eh?" He asked as his hand caught on fire. He then grabbed the hilt and the segments that were flying caught on fire and made a giant fireball. He swung the hilt and it flew at them.

Celes' eyes narrowed. "It's 'Celes,' you fool. And if you believe your fancy moves will bother me, you have a new thing coming to you!"
She closed her eyes as the attack approached her, time appearing to slow (at least for her) and she began to pray in her mind to the one of few deities that she recognized. 'Lady Shiva, I beg your protection and your assistance in my focus. If you can hear me here... I beg this of you.'
Her eyes flew open, glowing blue for just a moment before the end of her blade glowed for just a moment. "Runic."
The fire approaching her surrounded her blade as she blocked the hilt incoming, and she began to whisper in the ancient languages that she'd been taught by the same deity she had just prayed. Within seconds, the fireball disappeared; absorbed into the blade she held. "And please don't underestimate me either."

Trucido's eye widen, as the fireball was absorbed by the girl. The segments of the whip returned to the hilt. "... You are strong, little lady." He raised his whip and swung though the building, but then the bell rang. He retracted the whip to himself and put it away, and said "Oh, and you are lucky. I have to leave, to make it early." He ran further into the alley and disappeared.

Kouichi's eyes widened, his twin's echoing. He'd begun to attempt to block the strike, but stopped short in surprise as Celes' blade absorbed the magic. The force of his stop caused the already-precariously-placed hat to fall from his head... revealing two black cats' ears poking out of his blue-black hair. He was a bit too astonished to care.

"Hello?" A man with green hair and an eye patch walked out for a corner. "I saw a fireball, and I thought there was fight." He then saw Kouji and Kouichi standing there with a woman. "Kouji, Kouichi, Ma'am are you three ok?" he asked.

I'm okay, she realized. The battle was over; a well placed Runic, and she was okay. 'Thank you, milady,' she whispered in her mind before looking at the newcomer. "I'm okay." She looked over at the two who had run up during the encounter, noting that one of them in fact had cat ears. "...It's a kitty."
Sometimes, words didn't easily work with her.

Kouichi looked a bit dejected. "Lion," he said, sighing. "I'm a lion. But... it doesn't really matter, I guess."
Kouji snickered. "We're okay, Yeligar... At least, Kouichi and I are okay. I'm not sure about..." He blinked. "Um. I think I missed your name, nee-chan."

Celes smiled, sheathing her blade, and putting her cloak back on, leaving the hood down. "Celestia Angelina Chère, but my friends call me Celes... who are you all? Who was that?" She looked down, noting the slight quiver in her hand. She was still petrified, and she couldn't figure out why. She'd won, hadn't she? "Where am I?"

"Celestia..." He said to himself as he pulled out of a piece of parchment, and he looked at it. "OH! I am Yeligar Maelstrom, Leader of the Heroes. I am guessing that you were fighting a Sumata, which one, I have no idea. Now, I bet you have a lot more questions, but I am not the one to answer it, but I do know who is the one that can answer them. Do you come with us, and understand why you are here?"
