((Alainya and Jasmine, though anyone can jump in )) "Hold still, now..." "OW! That hurts!" The loudmouthed little boy tore himself from Jasmine's grasp, knocking over the small bottles and jars that she had taken from her bag. She'd stopped along the side of the road, seeing a little raven-haired boy crying into his bloody knees (it appeared the little guy had taken a nasty fall) and felt only sympathy for him. She hated seeing children cry, it bothered her so much. Obviously, she felt compelled to stop to help him. ...She really, really wasn't expecting him to be so restless though! "Of course, it'll only sting for a moment but it'll be better soon after," Jasmine sighed as she got to her feet and followed the boy, reaching out for him again, "please. Just sit and let me heal it for you. I promise it won't sting anymore." The boy bit his lip as her hand got close. Swiftly, he slapped at her and ran down the dirt road back towards the city. "I want my mommy!!!" he screamed and Jasmine let out another sigh, this one full more of aggravation than anything. She began to pick up her supplies when she saw someone else coming out of the corner of her eye...

Wiping the sweat off her brow, Alainya gave a deep sigh. She was glad that the city was close enough that she could see it, she was tired from walking. Traveling everywhere by foot wasn't that bad, but the weight of Alainya's armor made it dreadful. Even though the armor itself didn't weigh that much, she constantly wore it, and still wasn't that used to having it on all the time. Alainya stopped in the middle of the road, taking in a deep breath, glad that she could rest soon.
She scanned the area, looking at the scenery. It seemed that most of it was just mountains, although there was a bit of plains. Alainya's eyes stopped when she saw two figures. One seemed to be a woman, while another was a child. She couldn't make out any detailed features, but assumed that it must have be a mother and her kid. The child broke away from the woman, making a mess of whatever she was carrying. It seemed that they were arguing about something, though Alainya wasn't sure what, but she thought the child was very rude, considering he had run off, leaving what she assumed to be his mother to pick up the mess he just made.
"What a brat," Alainya mumbled as she walked up to the woman. She quickly glanced at the contents that fell out of the bag. They were an assortment of containers, which carried various liquids or other contents inside.
Must be a healer of some sort... She thought to herself, before she knelt down by the woman, "Need some help?" She asked, rubbing the back of her neck. Alainya didn't like most social interactions, but she was raised to help people out with things, no matter how big or how small.

Jasmine stared up at Alainya, not entirely sure what she should do. If anything, her adventures so far had taught her a.) don't trust everyone, b.) even those you trust apparently can turn treacherous, c.) travelling without money really sucks when you're hungry. She was hoping to actually accept money for her healing jobs in Ariadelvento so she could buy a few things...
She leaped to the side as Alainya approached, scrambling to collect her things. If the woman was going to attack, she was going to make sure she was ready. Hopefully, anyway.
Jasmine stared up at her, trying to judge her by the way she talked, stood, moved in any way. She didn't...seem bad...right now, anyway.
"I-I'm quite alright," she answered, trying to sound confident and totally failing, " just a few things spilled is all. I'm used to it, really."
She waited to see how the woman would respond.

Alainya watch the woman scramble to pick up her stuff, and Alainya became a bit disappointed. Most of the people she had run into so far seemed to be wary of everyone. It was kind of saddening.
"You sure?" She asked, slowly getting up. Alainya had a feeling that she would know what the answer would be. From the looks of things, this woman has seen a lot of things, that quite frankly, Alainya assumed were not that good of things. Then something crossed her mind.
"Who was that kid?" She looked towards the city. She thought that the kid was this woman's child, but she looked a bit too young to have a child that was that much grown.

Kevin Uruhane was walking through Ventus, his body showed a sense of purpose of being here. When he spotted Jasmine he walked to her, while she was talking to another lady.
"Ladies good day." Kevin greeted, his eyes did not hold any joke but seriousness. "Ms. Louqe."

"I've no clue--I saw him crying, he was hurt, and I stopped to..."
Jasmine blinked, seeing another figure moving not too far away. She turned and her eyes widened to see the familiar face of Kevin.
"M-Mr. Uruhane," she said, throwing her bag back over her shoulder and bowing politely in greeting, "it is good to see you again. I should hope things are treating you well."

Alainya nodded. She looked over at the woman when her sentence trailed off. In the corner of her eye, she noticed the figure of a man appear. He walked up to them, and greeted them. It seemed that this woman knew him.
Alainya didn't know who he was, but he looked like someone of importance. She gave a respectful bow, then said, "Good day,".
She rubbed her arm, looking around a bit. It seemed these two have ran into each other more than once, and she was hoping they weren't going to talk about something that she had absolutely no clue about. Although, if they did, she was pretty good at sneaking away, not interrupting the conversation.

Kevin waved his hand dismissively. "Do not worry, I'm not staying here I just need ti ask Ms. Louqe one question and then you two can go back to talking."
He looked at Jasmine and asked, "You haven't, by any chance, have seen Andy lately have you?"

Jasmine blinked up at Kevin. He was looking for Andy? What happened to him seemingly being able to know everything? ...or maybe things were just usually predictable. Yeah, that had to be it.
"I apologize, Miss," Jasmine quickly said to Alainya before turning back to Kevin, a most quizzical look on her face as she then answered him, "Andy? Of course, he was around not too long ago...but you know him, likes to wander a bit. I figured he went to do a little practicing...or picking a random fight, what ever you want to call it. I've been trying to do a little healing work out here to make some money so we have food on our travels..."
She trailed off for a moment, stealing a glance towards the sky before tilting her head and looking back at Kevin.
"I can't imagine him to be too far away--he doesn't usually leave me alone for too long. Shall I tell him you're looking for him, and what about?"

Kevin's look was hard to read, he took in her words and sighed. "A most problematic thing is happening with him. He abandoned my training, he quit training. Saying something how about how he's finally strong enough to kill the Sumata now."

Jasmine's eyes widened.
"He...he quit training? But that's...I know he's always getting stronger, but I didn't think he'd..." she frowned and stared up at Kevin. Somehow she was getting this incredibly sinking feeling that something was...well, obviously very, very wrong.
"Is there anything I can do?" she asked finally, her voice quieter than it had been only a moment before, "perhaps I can talk with him."
'Cause, you know, the last thing Jasmine really needed was for Andy to go charging into a group of Sumata leaders and get his ass killed because his ego was too big.

"I was hoping you would," Kevin nodded. "At least when you say something it goes into his head. He's been different since you returned from Earth, something happened there I know it."

Alainya looked back and forth between Kevin and Jasmine. She had absolutely no clue what they were talking about. Who was Andy? Why was it so bad for him to have stopped training? And why did they go to Earth? Alainya shuffled her feet uneasily, feeling out of place between the three of them.
She hoisted her bag comfortably back into position, and wondered whether or not it was time for her to make her leave.

"I'd like to think that if I say something he'll listen," Jasmine sighed, "I don't know what exactly would have happened to him but...I'll be sure to talk to him. Hopefully everything is okay, though."
She tried to give Kevin a hopeful smile, even if she was feeling a little worried. Kevin wasn't acting entirely like himself at the moment, so maybe that added a little to her uneasiness--it appeared that somewhere in the years she'd known him she'd become accustomed to his warm and cheerful attitude.
Jasmine looked back at Alainya, feeling a little guilty for leaving her like that. She blinked and smiled warmly at the woman.
"Oh, I-I'm sorry, we'd gotten a little carried away with our...issue here," she sighed again, trying to mask her worrisome tone as she smiled a little more warmly at the woman than she had before, "I should have said something before. My name is Jasmine, Miss. Jasmine Loque, and I am a healer and training spiritual servant from the Twilight Kingdom."

"Don't worry about it," Alainya told Jasmine, rubbing the back of her head. She listened as Jasmine introduced herself. Alainya bowed as she introduced herself. "Alainya Igniatus," she said, introducing herself to Jasmine and Kevin. Now that she knew who Jasmine was, she wanted to know who the man was. It didn't help her at all if her mind wandered off because her curiosity wasn't satisfied.
