Kouji looked at him. So far, he'd never seen someone from this place do something like that.
Could he be from Earth, too?
"Well, let's head out, then. I don't really have anything better to do... Mind if I travel with you for a while?"

Dean: I haven't went with a group for awhile, so why not. *He said shoving his hands in his pockets.* Are you any good with fighting?

He didn't say anything, just pulled the staff off his back and demonstrated a few passes wih it - skillful passes. Putting it back, he turned back to Dean.
"Work for you?"

"Alright. It's this way, I think." He walked off toward the docks, not saying another word. If this guy, Dean, didn't want to talk about his past, that was fine with him.
