*A sumatas can join, just pm me about it first*
Yeligar was leaning against a building, and looking around as he caught his breath. Damn, I hope my message got out to a hero. He thought has he look at the sun. It must have been mid-morning, so that means he has been running and fighting for about 36 hours.
The night before last, Yeligar landed here, to talk to a spy, but however, the spy turned and brought at least 400 men with him. Yeligar has been running, fighting, and hiding ever since that. He found a little area to sleep safely, but it was the point farthest from his boat, and the only way to escape without getting in the water, and swim with the shark. The first night, he sent out a messenger bird, to Profeta, in hope to getting a hero out here. It has bee 30 hours since that bird had left.
"I don't think I am going to make it." He looked at his arm, and try to stop the bleeding. He heard the clamping of metal coming towards him; another group was coming soon. Sounds like 5 guys out there. He thought as he pressed the white blade into the lance. He turned around, but saw the 5 man troop down, and someone was standing there. "Who is there?" Yeligar asked, since the sun was blinding him.

She started out as a dark figure against the sun, but then her wings spread and she turned, casting her shadow across the light and creating an imposing silhouette.
"Just thought you could use some help, Warlord."

Yeligar squinted his eye, and then smiled, "Oh thank the gods." He said, "Miri from Earth, how are you doing, adjusting to Allorum?"

She smiled, walking down toward him, her wings folding behind her. "A little; been doing just fine, though. How've you been, Yeligar?"

"Just fine." He said as he tightened his bandages on his arm. "So, were you summoned by Profeta, or did you stumbled here?" he asked her.

"When you all left Earth, I followed. You see, one of the Sumata's captains... I knew him, long ago."

"So, one of the Sumatas captains is from Earth? Who?" Yeligar asked, as he popped out the white blade from his lance.

"Alex of Santo-Luce, he calls himself now. To me, he was Alex Darkend... a partner of mine, before he turned to evil."
She seemed sad, gaze touching the ground.

"Captain Alex? Hmm, he does seem kinda odd, for Santo-Lucians but I thought that he was from another kingdom." He stated as he remembered seeing him a few years back, "And you came to see if it was really him?"

She nodded. "He's an exact replica, down to the tattoos around his neck, and that stupidly-named sword... and those wings of his." She looked out across the distance, her gaze hardened. "He did terrible things to me and Michael... and yet, he can't remember any of it. So is it really him?"

"I guess it is what you make of it. Is it better for him to be a blank slate, and you can rewrite him? Or is it better for you to bring him back the way he was and try to make him good again?" He asked her, then he heard more metal clanking. "Man, how many are these guys are left?" He pulled out his lance again.

"Enough," she replied, disgusted. "Can you handle this, Warlord?" She held her longsword, wings spread, ready to take to the air to fight where she had the advantage.

"Yea, I will just have to rest after we get out of here." Yeligar said as he placed the blue blade into the lance. The lance was then covered in water, and the sky became cloudy, and dark. Around the corner, 20 or so soldiers came running towards them, with their spears, and swords at the ready.

Miri smiled.
"My kind of weather," she said, and spread her wings, now looking more like etched shadows than flesh and feathers in the dim, dark light. She took to the sky, then swooped down among the soldiers, taking a few by surprise before winging back up into the clouds again, hiding in their shadows...

Yeligar hopped after her, and swung his sword as soon as she flew to the clouds. "Rain of Swords!" He shouted as swung his lance. It started to rain, but the raindrops were large, and in the shape of swords. They impaled the soldiers and afterward, the sword dissolved into puddles. Yeligar landed, and felt his arm. He looked as more soldiers came charging at him.
