Zelos nodded to Serena's summary, "She is pretty much correct. These beings called the Saints tried to summon the demon in the Tower of Salvation, the Heroes acted because one of their own was taken by them. The leader of the Saints was someone named Kain Angelo, if the name strikes any memories would be hard to believe for they were sealed away over a 1000 years ago."

"Hmm, interesting..." Trucido said, "Now, Serena, you said that 4 died, what happened to the surviving saints? Did they join the heroes?"

Serena bowed to Zelos' point first as she looked to Trucido, "Ah. Good question."
She opened her book to a new page, listing each member of the Saints, "Dead or alive remains unknown, about four Saints have turned to Heroism. Other Saints are missing or on their own." The girl then sighed and closed her book, "Well, sir? What's Your proposition?"

"Attacking them will be pointless, and we would be wasting so we shall let them be." He said as he looked at her, "If they do strike however, show no mercy. I would like to know the survivors, their names and such, if any of you do run into them." He then picked up his jar. "Now to our next matter, thanks to the saints, I had maganed to get the relics needed for our master plan. I need to get some other stuff prepared but other than that, We are almost ready, my Sumatas." He smiled with glee.

"You'd do wise not to make anymore enemies then we already have milord. My compendium nearly needs a second edition what with all the people that seem to want us dead." Seigmand spoke frankly as he rose to his place at the table, his hand waving the thick notebook he always took with him.
His eyes turned to scan the other people that had arrived. "My my, it's starting to appear that we have a new member every time we come together. Now who might you be young lady?" His eyes directed on Serena, a cautious annoyance held back behind his smooth tone and looks.

Scarth walked into the room, humming a happy little tune to himself as he jumped into his chair. Stopping at last he played absentmindedly with the armrests, appearing to stroke and tickle them. "Hehehe, that's right. Who's my favorite chair? Such a good chair." He smiled when it purred for him.
At last he turned to glance around at the other Sumata, dully moaning. "What are we here for again?" Yet he looked no more than through half the Sumata before doing a double take at Kuukyo. "Whoa, what?" He pointed a finger out at him and looked with an eager grin towards Trucido. "Trucido, why didn't you tell me? This is so cool. I can't believe you found a guy who looks just like Kuukyo to replace him. He's even a little better looking too, easier on the eyes if you catch my drift." He nudged those beside him with his elbow in a, 'you know what I'm saying?' sort of way.

"That is Kuukyo. He is just finally better after the fight he was in." Trucido smiled as he looked at Scarth. He then looked at Scarth and Seigmand and then asked, "May I ask why you two are late?"

Lilith raised an eyebrow at Kuukyo and Trucido.
"...that's funny, the last time I'd heard anything about Kuukyo, he'd been overthrown. Or at least missing, which would have meant that after months of him being gone and never being heard from, he should have been dead. I think something mighty suspicious is going on here--Kuukyo's either a lying traitor, or that man really isn't Kuukyo at all."
Because really, that was odd that no one said anything about Kuukyo being alive until...you know, suddenly right now.

"Perhaps if any of you sent a search party out like a good friend you would have found out," Kuukyo growled out in annoyance before looking over at Trucido, "I am loyal to you, I assure you."

Lilith grinned devilishly at Kuukyo as she responded, "You don't have subjects that are loyal enough to desperately seek out their own king the moment they watch him fall? How tragic..."
She looked over to Trucido, grin still plastered on her face.
"What would you call that? A sign of bad leading?"now
She spoke with snark, knowing full well that Kuukyo couldn't throw that one back at her; she showed so much compassion to her own people in Alberisato as well as the plants inhabiting the land that the vast majority of the kingdom would follow her off of the end of the world if they could, if she told them that it would be good for them that is.

Serena looked up and saluted Seigmand, "Serena Heracroix. New Chablys leader. I took over the area with better ideas of fortification. My skills include tactics, information, and espionage." She smiled lightly and bowed her head respectfully.
She then looked over to Lilith and Kuukyo, and spoke simply, "Why would a spy try to undermine himself as a subject of Trucido? He would see right through them in an instant, don't you think? Or do you doubt his skills?" The tactician smiled lightly at Lilith.

"I'm his wife, I'm fairly sure I know him well enough," Lilith simply laughed at Serena in response, quite honestly amused.

Serena smiled back and only stated, "With all due respect, Mrs. Dammedblood, I could only say that a wife can be trusted just as much as an enemy. If you wish to discuss one member's loyalty, you may as well discuss anyone's loyalty, for this world in your husband's eyes is the way he sees it, not you; driving our people apart with baseless conjecture is only hurting the cause." She bowed lightly in respect again, knowing, "If you want proof, I could just go to this page about the Saints and cite countless examples of this very point.."

Wow, even when she was being nice people still responded to her like a b****. And they all wondered why she didn't bother to try to get along with them.
"I'm fully supporting my husband's vision and for your information, am not trying to tear anyone apart. It's a fair suspicion, I only look for answers--or are you saying we are not entitled to those?" she kept herself fairly pleasant despite how annoyed she was at the other woman's attitude.

"Ladies, please." Trucido said as he looked at them. "The less fighting, the better. Do not forget, once we achieve godhood, we need to be more united. That is one of the problem with the gods now."
