Trucido was shot backwards from the spell. As he stood up and said "Interesting..." he ran up to him and snapped his fingers next to Angelus while saying "Sombra Destello" Beneath Angelus, a white orb with a black center formed, then it expand and exploded.

*Angelus was caught off guard by that move, sent into the air but manged to regain control and land on his feet.*
Angelus: Can't you see? You are all but pawns in his plan! *Angelus yelled to the other Sumata then rushed forward doing a bunch of combos with his sword at Trucido.*

Now would have probably been about the time where Alexander would have said something like "Dudes, why can't we all just get along here?"
But rather, the light king was silent as he looked from both Angelus and Trucido. Playing them? Trucido was a traitor? But Angelus was here clearly turning his back on Trucido, which was something that Bradley Frexton had strictly told Alexander to never, ever do. Yet? What ultimately caused his father's death wasn't the illness...he, too, betrayed Trucido.
Alexander was now lost in his thoughts, trying to mentally unwind an enormous mess of tangled twine - just who was playing who in the big scheme of things? It was then that the young king made his first real rational decision since coming into power. He had to investigate further into the Sumata, the Sumata 13, even the heroes and the Crepusculum army, and most importantly where he and his kingdom stood in all of it in terms of their roles and importance. His father had said some strange things while alive, but then acted completely differently...there had a be a reason for it. He had gotten so frustrated when Alexander didn't understand that maybe there was an underlying message to what he was saying? He'd have to further research his father's journals if he could find them...
Until then he had no allies, he had no enemies, but he sure had a large amount of friendly (and 'not so friendly') acquaintances that he kept in touch with on the outside and as long as he kept them happy and never acted any different, they'd never grow suspicious of him.
Which is why, in the end, the young goof of a king spoke out to Angelus and Trucido with, "Hey, dudes! Why can't we all just get along?"
Maybe becoming temporary rivals with Angelus was a good idea. Maybe it was going to lead to something - he was acting completely different for a reason and Alexander wanted to know why. He did just invite Angelus to the beach, though. Maybe if he took him up on the offer he'd look into it, then. On the other hand, he needed to have another talk with Trucido and find out what the hell was really going on.

Elexa looked back at Zelos, nodding slightly to show she understood. She backed away.
She'd known from the beginning that the powerful Lord was using them... for what ends, she couldn't tell. She wondered what she should do.

The young Captain looked up at his king, slightly shocked... but he, too, knew of the old king's death. It was a death that he couldn't save him from, the man who had done so much for him. So, when King Alex obviously denounced the fighting, Captain Alex stood firmly beside him, hand away from his sword.

Zelos was reliefed (internally) that Elexa decided not to step in the fight. He as well, knew the Sumata leader had no intentions of sharing the full power he wanted to obtain. Although he may share it with Lilith.

((ROFL. Actually, I see it more like Trucido going, "Great! Now that I have ultimate power...*kicks Lilith into the kitchen* GET DOING YOUR JOB FOR ONCE AND MAKE ME A SANDWICH, WOMAN!!!!"))
Lilith was quite unperturbed at the sight of the two men battling as they were. She had full confidence in Trucido and believed that if anything, Angelus would be squashed flat like a bug.
At least this didn't surprise her - she never liked Angelus anyway, the rotten delinquent.

"If they were pawns, then Why would I even get them involve? I could done my plans all by myself and have them destroy, but no, I had them Involve because when the new worlds are made, I want them to lead it with me!" Trucido said as the blocked and dodged the attacks. A couple of hits got his arm. He violently whipped his whip at Angelus while saying to Alex "Alex, This is the only way to deal with betrayers like him. I wish it would be different, that is why the world is in need of reforming!" *Could you make me one? Extra hot sauc, please?*

Alexander looked on and frowned.
"Really? You guys just can't talk it out? I thought we were supposed to be united?"
He stood back though, still watching what was going on and he gave a quick glance over to his captain, Alex. He felt like he should have said something to him too, but could not find the words at the moment...

*The whip slashed against his cheek cutting it open.*
Angelus: Reform it!? Don't make me laugh, you want to destroy it! I still hate humans, but I can't let you do this, they have a right to live the way THEY want to not by you! And even if this world needs reforming they would do it themselves, that is why we are human, because we have the right to pick what we want, we don't need the Sumata!
*Although he was taking massive damage he didn't let up his attacks they just grew stronger with each strike.*

Something about Angelus's statement resonated with Alex's heart, something tht was so familiar...
"Even if you hate them, they still have the right to live! Lead them into change, don't destroy them before they have a chance to!"
The voice, the words, rang straight from Alex's heart, a female voice he didn't recognize but was so familiar to him. He felt a strike slash him, and he stepped back slightly, shaking the memory away.
Is that from my past?

The moment that Angelus had shown his true colors, Seigmand was so caught off guard that he merely stared at the spectacle unveiling before him. Regaining his composure, he whipped out his compendium and began to write notes on everything he saw and heard as the battle took place. Though he was certainly interested to get a real chance to see what Angelus could do, most of his attention went to Trucido. The man was a monster in combat, and even with the knowledge of his attacks, Seigmand wasn't sure if he was fast enough or strong enough to deal with them even if he saw them coming.
Angelus why now? If only you'd come to me first, I could have stayed your blade for a more opportune time. He let his feelings get in the way. Well, maybe I can still do something.
Seigmand kept his eyes sharp and his face solemn as he watched the battle. Angelus looked badly injured and if a final blow would be struck against him, there's a chance there could be some way to spare him without blowing his own cover.

"DO IT THEMSELVES? THE RIGHT TO PICK WHAT THEY WANT?!" Trucido asked as he started to laugh "Humans had lost that right. They are hypocrites, they want Justice for crimes THEMSELVES have done. I am doing the Humans a favor. A new beginning is coming and the Sumata are going to be the creators, Gods that actual care for them."

Angelus: You're not a god! You're just another demon! *He swiped time and time again at him.* And I will put you down, demon! In name of my god!
*He slammed his sword to the ground bursts of energy coming out at Trucido.*
