Yeligar stood next to a solid wall, except for a large hole. He whistled, and shouted, "Over here!" Hundreds of people when through the hole, and scattered into the dark night. "Kevin? I have everyone out over here. How about on your side?"

Mark: If you strike one more time you'll make me your enemy, which is a very fatal mistake. *Mark threatened glancing from Trucido to the spell that was being charged, considering if he should move or take the blow then strike.*

Celtik watched as the fight below him broke out, and he just sighed. "This was a relaxing evening. Zelos, you must throw another one soon." Celtik said sarcastically. He looked at his gun, then he looked at the heroes fighting. He then sighed, and said, "Ugh, too tired to care right now." He then bolted out of the castle, and a sonic boom followed as he left in a blink of an eye.

Zelos was normally very calm, very collected with the situation and usually knows what to do when it comes down to it. However, not this time. Zelos fist had clenched and glared at the three instigators, or really, at Trucido.
"I have...had...enough...of...this...nonsense!" he yelled, his aura flaring up. "The moment I've joined up with the Sumata I've seen nothing of what you claim to lead Trucido. No new era, no benefit for everyone. Just a bloodbath, and an insane idealist claiming to be a king. How many more souls I have to reap Trucido because you cannot contain yourself, nearly half of the attending people to the festival are here because of YOU! No more! None of this! No more! The heroes may seem foolish to you but they know something called respect, respect for life and all those who live in it. This is it, I am done. I am no longer a "Sumata". I am who I was in the beginning, King Zelos Shinigami-Mezmellion. And you, you are no king Trucido. You're just a foolish man who wants something that is, an have always been, beyond him."

Trucido looked at Zelos and laughed, "Oh-no, A king is betraying me. It isn't like that has happened before like a hundred times." He said, "But I guess then I have no reason to hold back now. I wanted this ballroom to be rebuilt, but now, why should I help a traitor?" Trucido grabbed the tip of his whip, and started to carve a symbol in the back of his hand. Once his was done, he pressed the back of his hand, and said, "I was saving this for later, but what better time to use it than now? DarkGa!"His hand had a ball of darkness, then it started to grow and covered his body. Now in the center of the trap was a black egg, and then it expanded. The trap tried to contain it, but it was simple too strong, and shattered it. Then the egg grew and grew, breaking, dissolving and tossing rocks, people, and miscellaneous items everywhere. Nothing seems to be able to stop this juggernaut of darkness.

Well well, looks like I really do have a ally of him after all... Lunestise grinned gleefully as she continued the spell. "Draw forth the infinite might of the world, and bridge the gap to the divine! Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Lightning, Ice, Wood, Darkness, Light, Void, Death, and Life!" Each pillar of light moved with her words, leaving behind a shimmering wall of prismatic energy. The pillars shifted simultaneously, until the shape of a giant runic glyph was formed, the arcane walls stretching to the sky so that the clouds looked to have been etched on.
As the Darkga spell grew out to the outer walls of the summoning glyph, the energies of the two spells clashed fiercely, yet while the ever growing blackness tried to bulge forth it was held back by the culmination of all the elements. "Hear my call, and grant me the power to defeat my enemy! Asmalat, I summon thee!"
Lunestise stared deeply at the dark egg, as if looking through it to match eyes with Trucido. "Now prepare to die you commoner filth!" The clouds inside the glyph fissured, and with a sharp enough eye, the sight of massive fingers could be seen prying apart the sky and forcing it's way through the gateway. The name was known by only a few, but aware of it or not, the people that remained in the ballroom were about to witness the power of the dark Twilight god.

"You think a god could kill me? You are an idiot if you think that that will work. If they couldn't kill me all of those years ago, what makes you think that they will kill me now?" Trucido asked Milicia, as he stated inside his spell "You are the shallow minded fool. You do not deserved to be killed by my hands." He then grabbed the tip of his whip once more. "Let me show you my absolute power." He started to mutter something, then he squeezed on the segment of the whip, until he pulled the segment off, and then it shattered, making a massive shock wave, shattering the pillar of lights, and unleashing the Darkga spell. In the center of destruction, was a blood red feathery ball. The ball opened and revealed Trucido, with 2 wings. His appearance didn't change much, excluding the wings. He then stuck his fingers into his bloody hand, and started to make a larger symbol. "Paeniteo Vestri Sins Per Nex, Dues Iuguolo!" Then the symbol vanish, and in front of him was a weapon appeared in front of him about 7 feet long. The top had a Pendulum blade but the ends were extended and it curved upward. The Bottom, had 5 C like blades sticking out from the sides. but at the very bottom was a trident spear. The end prongs, were wavy and sharp, while the center one was straight. "Your move, Asmalat." Trucido said, taunting the god.

Outside of the castle, people screamed and ran in fear from the scene. Despite the darkness of the night there came a soft, almost relaxing glow from nearby. Sitting on the ground were Jasmine and Annabelle, close to the castle, close to the mayhem, neither of them afraid (Jasmine for once, ha) as they sat on their knees, hands folded and both in deep prayer.
"It is our job to help Queen Lunestise, Jasmine," Annabelle had said, sensing the woman using magic from the twilight gods, "it's our job to do as our gods ask us to, to keep a divine balance and punish those who deserve it and help those who need it."
They were enveloped in a shield provided by their gods and through their prayer, both were heavily convinced that Trucido was going to take one hell of a beating.
Because, you know, angels aren't actually stronger than gods themselves. This IS going to hurt.
An intense veil of light surrounded those in the battle, stronger rays touching around the queen of the twilight kingdom herself. A rumbling was heard before a loud CRACK in the air, like thunder, echoed throughout the hall. Forming around Milicia were now ribbon-like colours of soft blue and purple light, free-flowing and incredibly strong...
Jasmine and Annabelle's prayers had been answered; the gods were here, granting Milicia some of their strongest attacks to teach Trucido a lesson (though luckily for him, not kill him).

This went from bad to worse and Angelus wanted no part in a battle that involved gods and Trucido, which was basically the anti-god of the angels. Cringing he ran up and grabbed his counterpart, Mark and started to pull the Ex-Archangel away. "Come on, you want no part in this slaughter!" Angelus said running out of the castle.

Mark: Oh great. *Mark growled watching the god appear, he actually wasn't sure who he should be helping.* Well I guess I be- *then Angelus pulled him away from the two, he fought for a little bit then finally just let him pull him out of the castle. Perhaps after Trucido finishes with the gods he'll be weak enough to finish...*

"NO! NOO!" Lunestise cried out as the summoning gateway shattered under the power of Trucido's transformation. As the Darkga spell overwhelmed the small sigils on the ground the pillars of light sank down to the ground, fading to nothing. Stepping back nervously her hands shook with fear as Trucido mocked her in his new form. Despite all that effort, did he really destroy it so easily? Her head titled to the sky, expecting to see the sky seal shut again, her attack rendered powerless. Yet what was coming was far from what she could have expected.
What was before only two hands ripping apart the barrier between the realms had become four. The platinum white hands of Phoebos, the light Twilight god helped to sunder the sky, and from the gapping hole shone a brilliant light. As the flowing power granted by Annabelle and Jasmine's aid surrounded her, Lunestise could feel as if her mind was being crushed by the gods mere presence.
Not again, I won't let this happen again. I won't dare let my mind fragment. You can take it Lunestise! You're the damn queen! Lunestise fell to her knees, her lungs gasping desperately as she could feel it pain growing. Just like years before, the marking of the binding ritual seared against her back. Despite her best efforts to concentrate, she could feel herself slipping.
It's too much! Even after these years its still too much. I can't take it... Her eyes shut as she fell limply to the ground, and when she could at last open them she realized she had been taken to the place of her trance state.
Looking frantically around she could see the energy of the gods fracturing the hallowed place, small cracks become deep scars in mere moments. Hold damn you! Just hold. She pleaded to herself as she tried to keep her mind together.
"Don't worry..." A faint voice whispered to her. "This time we'll do it. As one, we can handle it." As Lunestise could feel a slender and familiar hand take hers, she maintained her focus and prayed that she was right.

Ayalan felt the fight or flight syndrome coming in, as he went to advance toward the others, and then shook his head.
"Let us be off." He nodded at Zelos, and then walked out as the darkness started to consume; he had no longer worn his gauntlets, so the most he could do was make sure everyone was away: At that point, it meant Nia, Malice, and any hero nearby.
He looked back at Malice, "I'll be looking out for you," Aya muttered to himself, and then he ran out, eager to just find her, and then find the others for the obviously incoming battle.

If I take down Milicia, then the gods could go away. If she can be possessed by a god, then that isn't going to help me out. He then looked at his monk's spade and snapped his fingers, and made it vanish. He pulled out an saw-edge sword and ran to Milicia, while his blade was aimed at Milicia's chest.

Faey was outside now, staring in horror at the fight going on inside through one of the windows that had been shattered in the chaos. Thankfully she hadn't been anywhere near where the meteor had fallen, nor where the fighting had broken out, though her jeans were torn at the knees and bloodied from being knocked down several times. Thankfully she'd brought the sword Mark had lent her to the ball, hiding it outside the main doors. Now she ran and retreived it, unsheathing it, and glancing around to make sure she wasn't being attacked.

Hers eyes fluttered open, dazed and blurred from the short time she was knocked out. Did I... did it work? Shaking her head she winced as it felt like a migraine had cracked her skull in half. But as she rose up on her knee and looked towards the still growing Darkga spell, she remembered she hadn't the luxury of trying to understand what just happened. All she knew was the pain in her back was gone.
Suddenly a glint of steel caught the corner of her eye, and with a half hearted somersault was able to avoid the full thrust of Trucido's blade, leaving only a cut in her side. Moving away and up to her feet her hand pressed against her side, and she could feel the blood trickling down.
Kind of shallow. Okay, deal with that later. That spell though... She looked towards the blackness that was encroaching on her. If only I knew something to deal with it. It was then that it came to her. She smiled and looked up to Zelos. "For your bravery Zelos, I think you deserve a gift. How about saving what's left of your castle?" With a few words and a gesture her body was coated in the soft pale light of a haste spell.
"Trucido, I can feel my true power now, and you don't stand a chance. So I'll make the same offer once more. Tell me what you had your royal goons doing in my kingdom, and I'll make your defeat that much less humiliating."
To those that looked above, the sky had now closed, and any signs of the gods had vanished. It was only the Crepusculum Queen that stood to face the angel Trucido, and from the smile on her face, he could tell she wasn't scared at all.
