"But..." Even through her protesting Kara still followed Jasmine's guiding hand. If things got ugly maybe then she'd step in. Better to let Andy let off some steam first though.

Andy watched as Jasmine led Kara away from them, he turned back to Lana and smirked.
"I won't hold my breath..." he said before rushing toward Lana and swinging his blade at her.

Lana stared hard ahead of her as Andy headed in her direction. She stayed perfectly still until she saw movement coming from his shoulder muscles, and as he swung at her, her blade whipped itself up to meet it. She leisurely stepped off to the side, always facing towards him, grinning.
"I was just going to say how clever of a boy you are, but then I remembered you never thought anything good of me from the beginning, didn't you? Do you just not trust anyone? Do you not let anyone in?" she asked, "you live a sad and lonely life, don't you? No matter though, right? When I'm done with you, you won't be able to hold anything, including your breath."
Without a second of hesitation, she ran forward and swung her own blade at Andy in one smooth motion.

"You don't know anything about me!" Andy roared, blocking the blade blow. Pushing her back, "You b****!"
He thrust and swung his blade in fierce strokes.

Lana grinned as he came back at her, with much panache, too.
"Oh I don't do I? Does this mean I'm wrong?" she continuously bounced his blade off of hers, an exhilarating feeling coming over her as she noted the great potential he had in his swordsmanship, "am I wrong, kid?!"
She rolled swiftly to the side and as she got up she twirled, trying to not only swing the blade again at him, but she brought her leg up to try to kick a pressure point just above the knee on one his legs--if she hit that, his leg would be out of use for at least a couple of minutes.

"SHUT! THE! F****! UP!" Andy roared, his blade shimmering brightly, "GETSUGO TENSHOU!"
He swung his blade down and a ray of energy sliced through the ground and air, threatening to cut Lana apart on impact.

"What the fu--?!"
...'Getsugo Tenshou'...? What was that? Lana certainly wasn't prepared for it in the least, anyway, and her eyes clearly showed it as they widened--she flipped backwards and just barely made it out of the way, though she was sure she was missing a piece of her coat now.
And if looks could kill, her first mission objective would have been complete by now.
"You're serious, kid? I can't believe you just did that...you little sh**--" and she furiously lunged at him. She'd take out his freaking eyes if she got the chance to. She put all her muscle into slashing mercilessly at him, trying to take some swipes at anything that was open in the upper body on him as she did so.
She was damn determined that she wasn't going to be pushed around by some kid.

As Jasmine watched the battle unfold, she became more and more convinced that this Lana was really a problem than a help to them. She watched in awe at Andy's most recent attack at her, completely moved at what abilities he had, a great smile coming to her face as she did so.
"It's just like I said, Miss Kara. Believe in Andy..." she said to Kara before turning back to watch Andy and Lana's fight, "...he's amazing at what he does."

Kara grabbed onto Jasmines arm lightly, a friendly gesture. "You should tell him how you feel...it's obvious you're interested in him...your eyes always light up that special way." She smiled gleefully dispite the raging battle going on in front of them.

(Playing Fierce Battle: The Time Has Come (Generic Nero Battle), Jason "Shyboy" Arnold, Devil May Cry 4)
"NO GO!" He roared, some some of the attacks cut into, him he blocked most of them by raising his blade and using the blunt end as a shield. When Lana finished attacking he threw in some of his on slashes. The aura that flared when he used Getsugo Tenshou never left, something was reacting to his rage/battle spirit.
"You think you can walk in here and threaten my friends?!" He roared at her as he swung his blade, "You think you're even going to walk out alive after this? THINK AGAIN!"

Jasmine was completely taken aback by what Kara said to her, and she stuttered a bunch of gibberish (apparently to herself) whilst her cheeks flushed quite a noticeable rose colour.
She looked in Kara's direction for a moment to smile sweetly at her before turning her eyes back to Andy and Lana, quite determined that she was working, not looking, working.
Right? Because to start having more-than-friend feelings for a guy you just became friends with was silly. Kara was being silly! Something to laugh at, with a ha ha HA HA.
...
Right?!
...Ohhhh boy.
"M-maybe, Miss Kara...b-b-but I should...uh...probably wait on that..." was all she could think of to say at the moment--Kara had her really flustered.

Lana leaped backwards, but even with her incredible speed she still took a slash up the arm, the left sleeve of her coat now flapping as she moved. She cringed and grunted in pain as quietly as she could, though moments later she still grinned as maliciously as she had before, having being told to never show your pain.
Though really? This effing hurt. She also didn't like the feel of hot blood running down her arm, it felt...creepy.
She didn't have to be a genius to know that something was terribly wrong here, though. The kid was still moving like a mad man, even after he had so viciously attacked her with...whatever he had called that thing.
She liked it. She hadn't had a challenge like this since she had fought to become Captain.
"Listen, pal, I'm not here to threaten anyone--the only one who's supposed to die here is you!" Lana yelled at Andy as she gave her sword a twirl and lunged herself at him again. She tried to fake going at him head-on by suddenly side-stepping (or a side leap, rather) and taking a swing upwards at his backside.

Lana let out a laugh, malevolence highlighting her voice; listening to the opponent cry out in any kind of pain or agony was a delicious treat to her ear. She was going to savour the moment when she brought her sword back and in one, short, smooth motion, stabbed him through the back.
Except for where she brought her sword back and he had already turned around. Her sword wasn't quite ready and as they clashed, she leaped with her sword to avoid losing it. She couldn't believe the strength that this guy had, and he was only a kid yet! She rolled on the ground and lept back to her feet, silently cursing the dirt that was now mixed with the blood oozing down her arm...
But this time, instead of taking another shot at him, she waited for him to come to her.

Andy's temper flared when he heard her laughing at him.
"I'LL GIVE YOU SOMETHING TO LAUGH AT! GETSUGO TENSHOU!"
Summoning the powerful move once again he swung his blade and the piercing wave of energy shot forward to her once again. Amongst the fighting, his sword continued to flare brighter.
