Lilith wasn't worried in the least about the fire, her created world nearly absorbed most of it. Some of the monsters became scorched, others it almost seemed to make them grow larger.
Beams shook her off guard, she hadn't expected such an immediate attack afterward. She'd had no choice but to try jumping out of the way of the attack, her cape getting hit in the middle of it and leaving a gaping hole.
"I wasn't aware you were capable of being the offensive one," she said, not necessarily expecting any kind of response from Jasmine. She brought her hand up again and made a swiping motion towards the girl--the four trees from around her all bent with incredible elasticity and swung with their trunks, branches and leaves at her, trying to beat her down.

Andy raised his blade and blocked the scythe, Lilith's smugness was irking him intensely. He almost had to kick himself for taking her lightly, she obviously wasn't as strong in Crepusculum as she is here. No use holding back here, gotta beat the smugness right out of her. He first switched to his speed form, using the speed to move as fast as this scythe wielder. Veering around it he flew at the tree trunks attacking Jasmine.
"Jasmine!" he yelled, firing a wave of his Kuroi Getusga, the black and red colored and faster version of his Getsuga Tenshou, at the attacking trees.

Lilith growled as Andy moved easily through her plants and took down the trees that attacked the girl. On one hand this would be a good thing for her if she could keep him distracted with making him feel he had to keep playing hero for his friend. However it also wouldn't do Lilith too good to have the girl entirely safe, either.
'Keep going like this and I could possibly hurt him, and greatly. If he keeps HER safe however she'll just be able to help him--I'll end up going around in circles until he's got ME instead.'
With this in mind, she developed a plan. Her world was built on the spot where her plants shared the same line of thinking as herself--they knew she wanted both Andy and Jasmine dead and as such, they would act on their own to take them out. Lilith could manipulate and warp this world as she saw fit. That was exactly what she did as she laughed, raising her hand up and bringing it down swiftly; the motion created a magical line that showed between Andy and Jasmine, staying still for a moment before a wall of thorns shot from it and fully separated the two. Andy was stuck with Lilith, with no real entry point through the thorn jungle visible.
Jasmine, on the other hand, was quite literally trapped in a massive jungle of thorns. It was dark, everything (much like the rest of this created world) moved on its own, making it hard to tell the difference between which plants were benevolent/malevolent. Everything was made of thorns. It was like one false move was going to hurt her, even a ceiling was created with nothing but spikes of all different sizes hanging above, swaying, ready to fall. Some of them did and at random. This place was designed to kill her while Lilith was left to deal with Andy on her own.
Before Jasmine also sat an old-looking wooden sign which read, 'What happens to the little girl who wanders the forest alone?'
"You keep interfering," Lilith announced to Andy as she'd separated them, "but you can't anymore. You've no choice but to focus on me now."
The grass in the field between them stood up straight, sharpening like spikes. Lilith's grin curled maliciously.

Jasmine was thankful to have been able to survive a tree attack of all things, especially with Andy's help. It had seemed like almost instantly after they'd been destroyed though that the world around Jasmine had suddenly changed. She wasn't with Andy or Lilith.
She looked around worriedly. No, no panicking. It wouldn't do any good for her to lose her cool. She took note of her surroundings--everything was quiet, eerie, and sharp. The sign sat in front of her and as Jasmine read it she narrowed her eyes.
'What exactly is she getting at? Girls who wander off into the forest alone...'
Jasmine heard a 'crack' behind her, which startled her and made her jump for a moment before concluding nothing was there. She looked back at the sign and frowned.
'They get attacked? Abducted? They die? Anything can happen. And if anything can happen in a regular forest...'
Jasmine's glance shifted all over. This meant she had to really look out for something, right? A spike fell from the ceiling, stabbing the ground only feet from where Jasmine stood; she'd forgotten already about the ceiling. How was she going to find her way out of this?

"JASMINE!" Andy roared, slicing at the thorns with no avail. Even firing several of his Kuroi Getsugas at it only for the thorns to buffer harmlessly against the wall. He turned to Lilith his Daito still flaring black flames as he stood in front of her.
"Fine then, I'll defeat you myself and save Jasmine." he said, holding his daito with both hands, pouring as much energy as he could in it before firing another Kuroi Getusga. This was a bit more powerful than before because he poured much more energy into the attack.

"You really think that, do you? Even if you somehow manage to make it out of here I can already assure you she's dead by now."
Lilith spoke in a factual tone, tickling her to watch Andy for that short moment feebly try to break through the thorns. It appeared to have made him a lot angrier but she was going to be more than ready for this. She hadn't quite expected his next attack to actually be nearly as powerful as it was so as she swung her arm up to bring up a wall of trees to defend her the wall was not only destroyed without effort but Lilith narrowly missed having herself sliced up good...or worse.
Trying to keep her composure (and trying to shake off the burning sensation on the top of her right hand), she straightened herself up and stuck her left hand out towards him. As she wiggled her fingers, the spikes that had come out of the ground launched themselves straight upwards, slowing to a stop only something like ten feet up in the air and hovering where they were.
In front of Jasmine suddenly shot past a large, thick branch of thorns that slithered like a snake around the area. The whole jungle came alive, everything from everywhere was coming to get at her.

Jasmine jumped, seeing the large beast...thing slither around. She made a run for...anywhere that she could where she wasn't tripping over anything or being grabbed by stuff coming out of the ground.
"Not...not not not going to happen like this," she told herself as kept her head cool and started layering her hand symbols again for a series of spells, "I need to keep my eye out for absolutely everything and--"
Out of the corner of her eye she saw something vine-like lash out at her--spinning quickly she flicked her wrists towards it and set the vines around her on fire. Spitting out a quick incantation she showered the area around her with sharp, blade-like shards of light, firing off her fire spells again.
Layering. Layering would keep her safe. She just had to watch her head, watch her feet, and watch that nothing grabbed her.

Andy growled that his attack was unable to harm her, more so when the grass seemed to shoot itself into the air. If he kept giving Lilith the advantage she'd have this battle down pat. Damnit Andy, calm down and think...gotta beat her fast and get Jas...now how do I get through these thorns? Wait, first things first...
Andy knew swords wouldn't help against those floating possible projectiles, but there was one form that could...
"Mirakumika," he spoke, switching to his rarely used element form. The black daito became a staff with tassels and he wore a traditional Japanese robe. He spun the staff and waved it around and a swirl of winds formed, the winds picking up strength to suck up the spikes Lilith just launched.

'How the hell did he...nevermind that, just keep it up and at least half of your goal will be completed, Lilith' she thought to herself as she watched with a slight pout her wonderful spiky grass be sucked away - she was going to use them even further.
"Stupid brat," she muttered. She was going to need a moment or so to build up something to attack him with again herself, so for the time being more monsters emerged from the ground to attack the boy, the scenery around him taking hits at him itself. Lilith had to find her scythe monster, she knew it was still around here somewhere...
It was really cute how Jasmine fought off her attacking vines and spikes herself, trying to watch every angle. However even Jasmine wasn't a warrior herself as her senses weren't nearly as sharp as a well-seasoned one, she was bound to be caught eventually if not quicker.
Change that to quickly, her spells weren't doing anything to the one snake-like vine which moved almost everywhere for her to see. Lilith knew of what was going on as she could hear the plants taunting the little blonde girl as they pursued her. Despite her own unfortunate situation, it made Lilith smile.

Andy growled at the rising creatures, electricity surging up his staff as he swung it at the creatures. The result was quite effective, each creature that was hit was fried from impact. Occasionally the grass would wrap his foot or a tree root would shoot out, a small zap from his staff handled them quickly. He knew this wouldn't last long, she would land a lucky hit sooner a later. She's separated me from Jasmine, why? What does she gain, I can take care of myself fine in a fight. She knows this too, now why would-"You really think that, do you? Even if you somehow manage to make it out of here I can already assure you she's dead by now." "You don't know? Well, no wonder this has been nothing but hell," Lilith scowled, growing more aggravated by the second, "to begin with, a one Vincent Loque trespassed into sacred land in Alberisato. Upon demanding he leave he refused, picking a fight with one of my most trusted captains. He murdered her, I poisoned him, he escaped and remains alive somehow." He realized it then, it was never about him at all. It was about Vincent and what he did, Lilith wouldn't rest until his family was dead and soon him. No! Not just his family, my family...my Jasmine. Andy thought, I won't let her die! I won't!His staff, and his body, coursed with electricity, a current so strong a blue aura gathered around him. The approaching plants were burned upon touching him. "I won't let you. You won't kill her. You're not killing someone from my family, you hear me!" The sky rumbled thunder, "You're not fighting some defenseless woman Lilith...and Trucido or any of the Sumata isn't here to save you, you're facing a man with something to protect!!!!" With that roar lighting bolts struck down everywhere, on the thorns that separated Jasmine from him, the grass in between him and Lilith, everywhere. Soon the field was set ablaze and the leaves and grass began to burn, which is what Andy hoped for: crippling Lilith of her greatest weapon.

Everything was happening far too quickly for even Jasmine to fully grasp what was going on. She thought she had been doing well--not good, but well enough--she kept her eyes open, kept moving, kept throwing attacks, kept dodging. It almost seemed unreal when she realized she was being pulled along involuntarily by something that must have grabbed her robe.
It had to have, the other plants and thorny things that latched onto her were sharp and tore into her skin. They pinned the fighting girl to the ground and she hissed in pain and jolted, causing nothing but more pain to herself; the plants' grips tightened on their prey and as she struggled caused more bleeding. Nothing major yet, but it was still bad enough to be happening.
"This isn't happening, this isn't happening..." Jasmine muttered, finding herself slowly losing her cool. As she looked upward the ceiling seemed to shake, spikes fell towards her as though aiming to kill. Through tearing up her own skin she managed to avoid some, though one smaller one in the process met her hand and stabbed right through it. She shrieked, her agonizing cries echoing surprisingly well throughout the forested land.
And just when it seemed like the first shot of pain had numbed even a little, another spike found itself falling point-first into her left leg.

Lilith wasn't going to admit that she was worried just a little right now, though her facial expression certainly showed how flustered she was. Andy definitely did what he wanted and made that smug grin on her face disappear rather quickly as she took a few frantic steps backward, the fires raging.
She glared and shook slightly. Despite Andy's sudden increase in power it truly was the haunting screaming and wailing of her plants that was bringing her closer to a breaking point, the boy aiding it along. All around her all she could hear from them were constant screams of 'HELP HEEELLLPPP USSSSS'
She need only speak to Andy but ended up yelling like she was in the middle of a crowd of hundreds of people and still never to be heard.
"Family?! Since when is she your family?!" Lilith probably would have laughed as she said it if it wasn't for the fact that she needed an attack/defense/something like, RIGHT NOW.
Jasmine's screams were heard very clear despite the chaos and couldn't have come at a better time. Lilith regained a slight twisted grin as she brought her hands up and motioned for her scythe monster to come back to her. It hovered to her side before disappearing, its laughter heard again and no shadow or outline to be seen. Seconds later a bright, red ring formed in the ground around the boy and upwards from the...smoldering grass came a vicious sneak-attack from the scythe wielder.
"You have nothing to protect, you fool!" she yelled over the hundreds of voices in her head. Like she was crazy.
((lol you can SO tell I wrote this at 1am))

The scythe attack raked across his chest and Andy reared back, panting from the strike. Jasmine's screams had sent cold chills in his body, he was running out of time and strength. It was bad enough despite crippling Lilith she was still determined to kill Jasmine.
"It's not over yet Lilith," he said, the tassels on his staff glowing the blue aura of electricity. It seemed like he'd go for the scythe wielder, instead he turned around and slammed his staff on a point in the thorn wall one of his bolts hit. The thorns were already burning a little but this concentrated spot of electricity blew a hole into the thorn divide. Andy mustered his strength and ran in, his staff creating a blue light for him to see.
Well enough for him to see Jasmine with several plants, and thorns embedded in her. And the plants could see him too...they could see him glow blue with lightning as his rage took over.
"Get away from her!" he yelled, swinging his staff at any plant creature near her, which of course would promptly fry them. Using a small gust of wind to blow any spike falling to them off course. "GET AWAY!"

'Good, I've got him--wait, what the hell is he--?!'
Lilith saw Andy bolt off (ha) through the thorns and she quickly made to follow him. Unfortunately with all of the fire and chaotic booms and crackles in her way she was unable to do so unless she was willing to do damage to herself. She couldn't even summon her monsters at the moment, they were too busy burning and screaming at her.
'How was he able...I can't believe this! ALL OF YOU SHUT UP, ALREADY.'
She was trapped here. With the field set ablaze and her concentration askew her warped world had little control and flickered on the edge of being a reality or really messed up dream. Lilith looked to her scythe monster who at the moment seemed pretty impressed with itself, a little of the boy's blood dripping from its blade.
"Go! Quickly, go after him and finish the job!" she barked at it. It laughed and plunged into the ground, underneath the fires and sped off through the thorn wall itself towards Andy. At the moment some of the plants around him still made an attempt to attack, dying immediately as they got too close. As he got closer to Jasmine the plants that held her shrivelled and died, dropping the bloodied girl to the ground. The scythe wielder emerged from the ground, scythe held high and ready to strike again at Andy's back despite his overly intimidating appearance at the moment.

"Jas..." he spoke softly, bending down to gently scoop her up when he heard something. Something emerging from the ground, on his staff he saw the reflection of the scythe wielder. The fact this thing was probably the must unaffected by the fires did not put fear in Andy, he was too full of rage to be afraid. He gripped his staff and thrust the bottom part out, slamming it into the creature.
"DIE!" he roared pouring electricity into the staff that he thrust to the creature.
