((Set after the castle battle))
Vash's stomach growled audibly as he, the King, and his Captain all walked into the bar/café and smelled freshly-baked bread, hot coffee, and, best of all, booze.
"I'm starved!" he proclaimed, looking like a shadow of himself. It had been a long, long day. THere had been walking and arguing and fighting with an assassin... he deserved some rest, and he figured that his companions felt they deserved some rest too considering how quickly the black-haired Captain had pointed out the small shop when they had reached the Solar City. He noticed the captain had quickly stowed his strange wings under a coat when he entered Santo-Luce, as if afraid of the reactions people would have to them. True, they were unusual, but...
Another growl from his stomach announced that the time for thinking was over, and the time for eating was starting.
"Let's eat something!" he told them, and quickly searched for a table.

"Couldn't agree more," Alexander rubbed his temples as the men all pulled up a seat around one of the tables. He took the liberty to wave down a server immediately.
"I'm so hungry, I might even eat a whole bowl of soup tonight..."

Coincidentally? (purely) Vincent had taken a night to relax in the comfortable shop, having himself a drink or two (or three). He'd glanced back as he heard the door creak open and the three men all wandered inside. Vincent wasn't going to pay them much mind but he was rather curious about one thing, and that one thing made him get up and stroll over as the guys all took their seats.
He raised his eyebrow at Vash.
"That has got to be the most interesting coat I've ever seen in my life," he announced to him.

Vash blinked.
"Uh... thanks, Mister! You really like it?"
He looked down and inspected his coat.

Vincent chuckled.
"No, not really. Just thought I'd tell you that it's the most interesting thing I've ever seen."

Alexander watched Vash and Vincent, raising an eyebrow as they spoke to each other. He shook his head, ordering his soup and bread and gave Vincent an unamused stare.
"Geez, buddy, was that really necessary? What's your deal?" he said to him, crossing his arms.

Vincent started to laugh at this. Without even being asked then, he pulled a chair up and sat down right in between Alexander and Vash.
"Nothing's ever really necessary, is it? So what's your deal, pal?" he said to Alexander before he paused, staring at him and said, "....I should know you, but I don't."

Alex stepped up beside his king. "He looks a little drunk, Milord," he mentioned to Alexander.

Alexander raised his eyebrow at Vincent.
"Well, I can clearly see you are a foreigner, so it's not like I should really get angry that you wouldn't know who I am..." he answered slowly before straightening himself, "I am King Alexander Frexton, sir. And my captain thinks you are intoxicated. Do they drink a lot where you come from?"

Vash chuckled. "Nothing like good food and booze, y'know? Hey, Mister, you want a round on me?" He seemed to have forgotten the insutl against him at the prospect of food...a nd, well, booze.
What could he say? Vash enjoyed the simple pleasures in life.

Vincent chuckled at Vash, relaxing himself in his chair.
"I like this guy already, he talks the language. By the way, don't call me 'Mister', it makes me sound like some pompous little piglet or something--call me 'Amazing' if you really want to," he laughed out loud to himself as he said this, "I tell you what, you get me a drink and I'll buy us all one of those big appetizer platter things or whatever you call them." He was already in the process of waving down a server to do this.

Alexander blinked, raising an eyebrow, not entirely pleased with Vincent ignoring his comments and questions earlier but at least glad that he wasn't apparently here to cause them any grief....so far.
"'Amazing', huh? Sounds like you're uh...pretty confident. Might I ask why?" he spoke up, his voice slightly louder.

Vincent turned to Alexander with a huge, stupid grin on his face.
"Because the girls need me to be," he simply answered.

Vash laughed happily. "Hey man, now you're talking. One of those giant platters with everything on it - I'm starved!"
He sat down in a chair next to Vincent, a giant grin plastered on his face.

"Exactly," Vincent chuckled in response to Vash, ordering the meal for the table and sitting back in his chair comfortably, "so...who the hell are you, then?"
