Taggert only braced himself as he felt the shimmering wave of ice flow through him like a cold north wind. His joints stiffened and he could feel his breath tingle against his throat due to the chill. Left immobile save for his wrist he wriggled his wand around as he summoned the magic for his next spell.
"Ah yes, an excellent idea dog boy. A pause, to hold and let the mood set in. It would seem the next step in our piece rests with you boys." He smirked as the ground around him singed with inlays of dark runes; merely the calm before the necrotic storm.

Kevin's eyes narrowed at Taggert's spells, holding back from the fight to find a moment to strike. It would be bad if they were all defeated within seconds of the fight, Kevin held out his palm and crunched his fist in it. When he did, runes of light burned into the ground. The aura of warmth combating the cold depths of Taggert's dark spell.
"Lets see if your knowledge in necromancy outmatches my spells from the Angelic lore." Kevin smirked, "This is gonna be a wonderful performance, let's give them all we got!"

I chuckle menacingly at my opponent's drab retort, all the while further channeling my energy till my spell lies on the precipice of completion.
"So the spectator wishes to conduct, does he? Well perhaps I can provide some vocals for your fervent, albeit pointless attempt," I quip mockingly as I flick my ensnared wrists downward and summon forth a blinding burst of green light from the sigils at my feet. Appearing from the haunting green appears the ragged spirit of woman, her legs and hair nothing but vapourous extensions, while her face hides behind a veil of shadows, pierced only by the glow of her hollowed eyes.
"Be wary, for the wail of a Banshee can be deadly to the untrained ears of peasants, such as yourselves," I patronize as I snap my fingers, causing the malevolent spirit to shriek forth with it's horrible voice, simultaneously assailing my paltry foes and shatter the ensnaring ice that bound me.

Kevin's light spell was completed as the banshee began to wail, light shot up in the sigils around Kevin and formed into white balls of light, they vanished and appeared in a row in front of him. The lights fired small beams of light that converged into one larger beam of light that was blinding and powerful as it rushed towards Taggert.

Gensayce watched as the Banshee started to wail, thankfully he started to regain some more control of his limbs beforehand and started spinning his spear in his hands, he took a deep breath "Arktis Barriere" suddenly a huge iceberg erupted from the ground despite the sun of Santo-Luce, the iceberg shattered almost instantly when the high pitched tones of the Banshee hit it but thankfully it did it's job and protected Gensayce from it's screech, now he needed a counter attack.
A frontal assault had done him little good so let's try something a little bit more flashy, taking in another deep breath he slammed his spear into the ground and then started moving towards Taggert completley unarmed, this was going to cost him.. Alot. With a quick incantation muttered under his breath, ice formed over his gauntlets, his forearms took the shape of massive icy claws.

As the wail started to reach Tempest's ears, sharp lines of yellow streaked across his irises. Thunder boomed around him, drowning out the wail, but not before it reached his right ear. Gasping, he brought his hand up to his ear, feeling blood pool around his hand. He lifted his hand from his ear and hurled the blade that he had held in that hand straight at Taggert. Then he vaulted over the skeleton he was fighting, running after his blade, also in the direction of Taggert. Tempest pulled out his bow as he ran, mostly to hold on to something that felt comfortable, but also for the magic that Profeta had put into the bow.

"Well, I think this will do the trick," I think to myself, my grin spreading ear to ear as the effervescent beam of holy energy streamed towards me without pause. My eyes light up for a second as my mind wanders back to my youth, thinking of my days as but a humble composer. "How ironic that my final performance should once again call the spotlight upon me..." I quietly remark with a slight chuckle as I spread my arms out, as if embracing the approaching ray.
"Behold knaves! For this is the last symphony of the Great Taggert Sostenuto!" I barely finish before the ray wholly pierces the right half of my chest, throwing me back as I let out a sharp but muffled grunt. Slamming to the ground, the gaping wound at my side drains my strength and concentration, causing my magic to dissipates and sending my creatures back into the abyssal realm from where the normally reside, as I lay helpless against the hard earth; a misplaced grin still spread across my face.
Choking the lines out through the blood I can feel pooling in my mouth, I aim to mock the "heroes" even until my last breath. "Take what little solace you can in this "victory", peasants, for it means nothing. Trucido was a fool, and nothing but a means of accomplishing my own plot. Where he shall die, I shall live on, as the requiem I've forged through the years shall continue to ring throughout this land, striking fear into the hearts of man, till I return once again with a new tune to conduct. Fear for your petty vessels of flesh and bone, mortals, as I shall come for them, as I will for all you pestilent humans in my purging of this world..." I slowly speak while coughing and hacking, as I feel my pitiful human body failing me.
Attempting to let one final laugh free my lips, I try, but nothing but a hoarse release of air escapes, as vision becomes fuzzy before I descend into the sweet embrace of my own demise...

Gensayce looked at the now dead Taggert with almost a sense of pity, even in his own death he would not admit his failures, it saddened him to know that they were prepared to hate them to the very end, the massive claws on his hands melted away and he pulled his spear from the ground before turning his attention to Kevin "It seems that you have helped us twice now with Taggert" His armour started to melt away back to it's original pale blue steel as he transformed back to his normal state.

"Eh, coincidence," Kevin shrugged. Dusting off his cloak. "I was actually trying to help Andy the first time..."
He paused as he thought of the young teen, somewhere out there, fighting his evil Other. It seems he was realizing his mistakes, and confronting them. Now it made him regret how harsh he was with him...

"Wow... what a way to go." Tempest looked down at Taggert's body, rubbing his ear where the Banshees wail almost touched it. "What should we do now," he asked, putting his weapons away.

Though dead, my body suddenly spasms with horrid convulsions. With one final spasm, my jaw flies open and spews for a billowing stream of souls. Taking to the sky, their wails pierce the air, making their presence know for miles throughout Santo-luce, before they quickly dart off to some unknown location, as if drawn by some hidden purpose.
The once young body that laid on the ground is now a withered, half rotting husk, as if the process that had just occurred had aged the body past a point here it seems impossible that it could've been alive but just a few moments ago.

Gensayce watched the now rotting husk with a look of sadness "What a way to go indeed..." he muttered echoing Tempest, suddenly a beam of light rushed past them, a signal for the heroes to move to help in the fight against Trucido, Gensayce knew that Aya was one of the other Kishu assisting, a portal opened in front of them and Gensayce did not hesitate and quickly stepped through...
