Faeylinn didn't know how long she'd been wandering around the Glorok Caverns. The walls glowed, illuminating her way and she looked around. She'd long lost track of where she was and which way she came from, and now simply wandered around looking for anything that was familiar. After a few too many wrong turns she sat down to rest, feeling tired. She hadn't seen any animals around yet, or any people either, and wondered if she was the only one stupid enough to get this lost. She closed her eyes and sighed, taking a deep breath before calling out. "Hello? Can anyone hear me?"

Footsteps sounded in the dark-yet-glowing caverns and halls, coming ever closer to Faey.

She stood and looked around, trying to locate the source of the footsteps. "Hello? Who's there?"

"Are you lost?"
The voice was kind, female. It sounded around eighteen or nineteen, and accompanying it was a cloaked figure. Her eyes were a bright purple, and her hair was black, decorated by ribbon of the same color.

She smiled sheepishly. "Just a bit. My name is Faeylinn, who are you?"

"Elexa... I know the way out!"
She smiled. She didn't seem to be a threat.
"How'd you get here? You don't look Nerezzan..." She sounded suspicious of Faeylinn. "You're not a Santo-Lucian, are you?"

She smiled back. "Nice to meet you, Elexa. I'm not Santo-Lucian, I'm from Earth. Do you mind pointing the way out to me, the caverns are getting kinda monotonous."

"Earth? Like... a Hero?" She smiled. "I hear that your people are going to free Crepusculum from the Sumata, but... most people here in Nerezza don't want our Queen to die, because unlike most Sumata, she's very kind to us..."
She shook her head. "But it doesn't matter. I can show you the way out."

She tilted her head slightly, intrigued. "Queen? You have a queen in Nerezza? Who is she?"

She smiled. "She's a benevolent ruler, although she's rumored to like tricks and deceptions. All of the peoples of Nerezza look up to her, even some of the stranger races who live here."
She began to lead the way out. "It's this way, Miss Faeylinn!"

She followed, shouldering her bag. "Thanks Elexa. So you live here in Nerezza, is there anything else interesting you would recommend I visit?"

She looked at her strangely. "You're... actually interested in this country?" she asked, sounding interested. "Why? Most people don't like it here... after all, it's always dark, and most humans like the sunlight better than the moonlight, since that's what they see by..."

She shrugged. "I came here to try something different, and Nerezza certainly fits the word. Besides, I like the moon, it's only reflected sunlight and you can still see the stars!"

Elexa smiled. "The stars here in Nerezza are rather beautiful, but... if you truly want to see a beautiful night sky, you might want to visit Ketulunanox... but... it's pretty far from here... in fact, it's about as far from here as you can get on a round world."
She was... puzzled. Faey didn't react at all to hearing her speak about humans as if she weren't one, or about the 'stranger races.'

"Ketalunox? Hm... Maybe I'll make my way over there eventually..." She pulled out the map Profeta had given her, looking for a 'scenic route' to Ketalunox.
