She couldn't believe he had done that. Lana dropped her sword and stared with wide eyes at Trucido.
'What the hell is he doing?!' she thought, but before she could open her mouth to protest anything, Trucido stabbed her in the arm. She gave a sharply chopped yell, trying to gasp in pain more than make any actual noise (she really hated showing she was in pain) and backed away from them.
Suddenly she felt the pain of, what it felt like, fire burning through each and every vein and capillary in her body. From then it spread like an acid, feeling like it was eating everything inside of her. Falling to the ground, Lana screamed in agonizing pain as the poison did its work and from there on she was left laying there, wide-eyed, losing the ability to move her body, and sharp gasps escaped her as she looked up helplessly at Trucido and Angelus.

"See, she is perfectly harmless." Trucido said. He picked up her arm and dropped it down. "She is like a rag doll."

Angelus: ... *He looked back at him. He was happy Trucido stopped him, but a poison? Angelus walked over to her putting his blade away.* I'm sorry, I didn't know what took over me. *He grabbed her arm and started to help her into the castle.*
I don't have the stomach to kill a helpless girl... I'm so weak...
Angelus: Sorry Trucido, but we have to pull out.

'A...rag doll...? That's all I am...?'
For the first time since her parents abandoned her, Lana was scared. Once she had learned to fight back, she had grown out of fear, but now she was back to being completely defenseless. It stirred up panic inside of her, and that didn't mix well with the poison injected into her system. When she saw Angelus coming, her eyes widened and the terror was more than apparent in her eyes. She tried to move, she fought so hard with her body to roll away, to throw a punch--anything, but nothing was responding. He put his sword away and apologized.
She was confused. What was he doing? Why was he...helping her?
As he helped her up and into the castle, she managed to squeak out one word.
"...why?"

Angelus: I can't, I guess I just can't do it. I'm weak. *Arrows shot next to Angelus, he turned to see some of her soldiers. He slowly put her down and flew in the air.* I'm sorry for this.
*He flew past the guards right next to Trucido. He dropped next to him*
Angelus: Come on, this was the wrong place to go. *Angelus turned to the mass of dead bodies everywhere.*
I did this, what am I? these people had families, wives, children and I took them away for the pleasure of it. I AM a monster.
*He walked away from the bodies. In shame, in sadness and in disgust.*

Lana was dumbfounded by Angelus' response.
'Weak...?'
That horrible word; it angered her to hear it, really. She was called weak because she herself never usually killed anything. She had different thoughts of it, though. Thoughts that the Sumata 13 disagreed with, but they were different nonetheless.
She let out a disgraceful wimper in pain and she watched, as best as she could, anyway, as Angelus set her down and left her for the soldiers to care for.
"Get her upstairs, now! Inform Gamblington immediately!" one of them yelled, and as they hauled her away, her eyes softened and she stared back as Angelus walked away. He interested her. She didn't know why, but he did.
'...Mark Angelus Fri...'
She then decided that the moment she was able to move and leave the castle again, her next side project would be to find him again. She had to speak with him.
