In a dark streets of Dark-soul castle, a prostitute was walking the streets by herself. The area was being filled with fog, and there were foot steps echoing that was not her. The prostitute got nervous and started to walked faster. She, then, saw the alley that lead to her house. She turn the corner, and there was a pair of white eyes looking at her. "Dark Times" the eyes said, then a clock appeared in front of her and she looked like she was frozen in time. The figure picked her up and walked towards the castle. He hopped high and though an open window. The being, placed her on the bed, and then white fangs appeared and pierced her neck. It started to drink her blood.

A soft knock came at Ludro's door, then it was opened as the Lady Queen Elexa B'Shera swept into the room... then stopped, her eyes moving from the feeding Captain to the poor victim he was taking from to the blood now staining the floor of his room.
"Well, well..." she murmured to herself.

Ludro stopped in his tracks. He turned around, with sheer horror on his face. His eyes were solid white and he had long fangs, and there was blood all around his lips. His eyes return to normal and he started to wipe the blood off of his lips, but it smeared it on his face.
"Mi-milady!" He said, and then he bowed to her. "This is not what it looks like... She was bitten by a ... duck, yea, a poison fang duck, and I was draining the venom from the wound, so that she would survive."
Wow, if she bought this, He could get away with anything.

Her eyes softened as she smelled his fear.
"Ludro... Ludro, my Captain, why did you hide this from me..."
She stepped fully into the room, shutting the door behind her.
What's more, how could I have been so blind...

Damn, she did not buy it. He thought. He sighed as he gathered his thoughts, he had never told this to anyone.
"... I am aware that you know of the tales of Vampires and Dhampir. Well, since men can only be a Dhampir, they have a hard time to control their vampiric instinct, unless a vampire helps them. Well, since there are not other vampires in existence, that I know of, I just hid it and used the time to inspect the troops to feed. If you found out, then you would have let me go, because if I could not control my urges, and attack a soldier, Lana, even you, you would have me killed or dishonorable discharge."

She smiled. "The hidden underground of Nerezza... sometimes known as the Other Court. You would not know this..."
She turned away from him, then looked back, her eyes glowing completely purple, pupilless, unafraid, terrifying, knowing all.

His eyes widen, as he saw the eyes of Lady Elexa B'Shera. " Are you a Vampire? So, does that mean... those old tales are real?" After his eyes return to normal size, he then asked "What is this 'Other Court'?"

She smiled. "The old tales are indeed true... and I have ruled this land for over a hundred years. As for the Other Court..." Her smile widened, showing the delicate fangs she was showing him. "It is our family, Captain. The court held for the vampires of this world. Would you like to see it?"
She held out a hand, her features returning to normal, showing him that he didn't have to be afraid.

"Luckily for you, we are meeting tonight... it is not something that happens often. Come, Captain Gamblington... it is time to meet your family."
With that, she turned and led him out of his room, shutting and locking the door behind her. She turned to him and smiled. "This way... stay close. It's easy to get lost in this castle..."
Then she led the way down a twisty, winding, meandering path through the castle, halls and corridors that looked rather disused and dusty.
As they went further, vooices could be heard. Elexa led Ludro down a final flight of stairs into a room lit with a single dim torch. At the very back was a dais with a throne sitting on it... she ascended and sat down, then waved Ludro to his customary place to her right.
She looked down over everyone attending.
"Welcome, each and every one... my sisters, my brothers... welcome to the Midnight Court of the Vampires... I thank you all for coming."

At that moment, figures faded out of the shadows, men, women, all young-looking and wearing dark clothing. Some seemed more comfortable there than others, some seemed more well-off than others, but they all kneeled before Elexa.
She smiled. "Rise," she said, and they did.
"Now... my friends, ladies and gentlemen of the Court... this is Captain Gamblington, who has long been hidden from us... but we welcome him now ino our court. Are there any objections...?"
She gazed around the room, purple eyes seeming to bore holes in the room. No answer was made.
"Very well then."
She turned to Ludro. "Those you see before you are all like us... all are of noble blood in some way or other. As the night goes on, we may see others arrive, of lesser blood... I demand respect for all who enter my halls, so if you see any troublemaking that should escape my notice, do not hesitate to inform me... now, go, mingle... they won't hurt you."
She smiled.

Ludro just looked around and then he said "Ok, I shall do as you say." He was a bit nervous, because he had never scene so many people like him. He walked to some women and started to chat with them.
"Hello, I am Ludro Gamblington, but people call me Ace." He said
Most of them shrugged off of what he said and resume discussion among themselves. But one girl, around the age of 17, said hi back. He had sky blue hair and a large scar on her neck. She saw Ludro looking at it and pulled out a scarf and covered it.
"So, what is your name?" He asked.
"Belleza," She said quietly.
"That is a pretty name." He said. The Conversation went on for a bit, nothing major, what do you do, and such. Ludro then return to his seat.
