She laughed again.
"No, I stayed in the United States of America, I didn't have a passport to leave the country and couldn't legally get one, and I wasn't about to risk being caught by the law enforcement."

Elexa smiled. "Now, now, Ludro, we both have duties to attend to and Faeylinn looks about to fall asleep. I don't hear any servants around at the moment, so I'll justsettle her in myself... make my apologies to the Court, will you?"

"Passport, how are is it to get there? You just have to buy an empty one, fill it out, and have a judge stamp it." He said "How does it work there?" Once he heard queen's order, "I can watch over her, in the spare room next to Lana, and you can continue with the court."

"On Earth, you need to buy a passport with approved identifications cards handy and have a birth certificate and lots of other official stuff... I coudn't get my hands on that stuff without blowing my cover, so I just stayed in the country."

Elexa nodded. "Good idea, Ludro... don't bite her."
She winked at Faey and Ludro, and walked into the darkness, fading from all sight and perception.

He looked as Elexa left and then he looked at Faey, and his eyes started to glow white and fangs grew. "This is how I bite people." His face return to normal. " Right this way, Ma'am. and stay close, it is easy to get lost in here." He started to walk to the hallway

Faeylinn shrugged and followed Ludro down the hall, stifling another yawn.

As soon they were in the upper part of the castle, he pointed to a large red wooden door. He pushed it open and there was a simple set-up. Just a desk, chairs, table, a large bed with red blankets, and some other items here and there.
"This will be your room for the night. If you need anything, pull on this cord." He said as he pointed to a rope next to the bed. "Do you need anything before I leave?"

She shook her head and walked into the room, dropping her bag next to the bed.
"Nope, thatnks anyway."
She yawned and sat down on the bed, then laid down, curling up on her side.
"G'night Ludro..."
She feel asleep almost immediately.

"Good night Faeylinn." He said, he then fling his cards to the cards to the candles and the cards started to spin and blow out the candles. He then walked out and and went to his room that was across the hall.

The voice came from the pair of glowing purple eyes gazing out of the shadows.

"What is it that I am suppose to be thinking about? her?" He asked. "I mean she looks nice and all, but is she ready to deal with this world?" He sat down in a chair.

Elexa stood next to him. "She doesn't fear... she doesn't hate. SHe takes things as they are. She seems to simply wish to see our world..."

"True... but this world, most of the time, will see her and attack her. I hope not, but it is a law here." He said, as he placed his weapons on the table.

Elexa nodded. "I will help her," she said. "She is a good soul; she will make a good Hero. I'll teach her how to fight, if she hasn't learned already, on our way to the port. Will you come with us, my Captain?"
