Her head rose from it's position around Faey's wrist and nodded sagely.
Besides... I've always wanted to have an adventure. I rarely leave that room, and I've never left the castle! I was born in that room! or... well, made, or whatever happened.
She sounded happy.

Faeylinn grinned and continued walking, stopping at a turn in the hallway and glancing both ways.
"Erm, you don't happen to know how to get to the bedrooms, do you? I forgot which way I took to get here..."

"Oh! That's right! Um... I thik the library was this way..."
She turned right and went down the hallway, smiling victoriously when she finds the librarie's doors. She ran in and grabbed her sneakers and headed back into the hall, now fairly sure of which way she was going. Thankfully it wasn't long before she found the dining room where she'd eaten and shortly after that she arrived back at her room. She plopped down on the bed, and dropped her shoes.
"Well, I guess now's just to wait for Elexa or Ludro or someone to tell us when we need to leave for the ship."

A knock came at her door.
I wonder who that is...? Shiluya asked, perplexed.

Elexa stood there.
"Faeylinn, it is almost time to leave for the..."
She trailed off as she saw the shadow-creature wrapped around Faey's arm. "Why, hello there, Little One... have you attached yourself to this girl?"
Hi Milady! She came into my Room and started playing pretty music and then she gave me a name so I'm hers now! She named me Shiluya!
Her voice was as eager as a labrador puppy and Elexa laughed. "I'm happy for you, little Shiluya."
She looked back at Faeylinn. "Are you prepared for the journey?" she asked.

She went back into the room and grabbed her bag and shoes, holding them in her hand she walked back.
"I am now. I assume we're leaving soon?"

She nodded. "Ludro should be waiting for us in the main hall. The journey is about a week long on foot but with Striders we'll be able to cut that time in half."
Ooh, Striders! I've read about those, they sound fun!

"They are a lot of fun, especially when you race them!"

Elexa smiled. "I doubt we'll be racing this journey... it was fun, though, to be able to race like that, without a care in the world... we should do it again one day, when the world's state is not so precarious."
Milady, what do you mean?
"War is among the Sumata Thirteen - war with Crepusculum. And while we've so far been able to stay out of the fighting because of our position as an insider, it is still hard for Nerezza, cut-off as it is from the rest of the world."
Oh.... well, I'm sure those hero-people who were summoned from another world will help us! Right, Faeylinn? You're not from around here, right?
Her voice was curious and slightly pleading. She looked up and into Faeylinn's eyes with her own large, green, soulful ones.
Pretty please? she begged.

Yay!
She uncoiled from Faey's wrist, loop-de-looped in the air, then coiled back round Faey's wrist again, all in one smooth motion. Her little head nuzzled Faey's arm. Elexa laughed at this exchange.
"It's such a persuasive little thing..."
She! Not it! I'm Shiluya!
She laughed again. "Fine... she's such a persuasive little thing." She shook her head, amused. "Anyway, we should probably head out to the main hall and find Ludro."
With that, she started to walk, beckoning Faey to follow her.

Ludro was in the hall waiting on the girls. He had a pirate hat in the middle of the room and he was throwing his cards in the hat. So far, he had missed 7 cards. He heard footsteps coming to the hall and he looked in that direction.
"Is that them?" He asked himself.
