"Friendship... That is a feeling I have lost long ago, and though his death, I shall regain it." Xisa said as he looked as Incendia picking Volk up. He stabbed the sword into the ground and looked back at the sphere.

"Death? Whose death?" Tidus paused, he was a bit confused. "Volkmars...?"

"His or Trucido's." He said, as he looked at the sphere. "I have been waiting for this day for over 19 years. Ever since that day when he destroyed the city."

"What? What are you talking about? Volkmar said you were the one who destroyed the city!" he yelled, "That's why he's trying to defeat you, for the people of his home that you killed!"

"That is the story that whole world knows. But since the end of the world is at hand, I might as well tell the real truth: I never was in the city that night. Trucido was one that destroyed the city. A Lunar Knight of Tuono, Oha Lyrro, went to assassinate him. She was almost killed him, but he ended her life. Filled with rage, he went and wiped out the city. Trucido had something that I need back, so he said that if I killed one of the Lunatopians that survived, or if he died, I will receive what is rightfully mine. He also said that would improve my image of the lands." Xisa told Tidus, as he stared into the ball of light.

"W-what? Trucido was the one..." he said, looking back at Volkmar and at Xisa. Volkmar's entire life was battle after battle to prepare himself to fight Xisa, but if what he said was true...and if Trucido was the one who destroyed the city. Then Volkmar had the wrong enemy in mind!

"Yes. He was the one that killed my people." He said to him, "And because of that, he forced Volk to go down a path that will kill him in the end. The black moon's power will grow and him, and turn him into a monster. And when that time comes, I must kill him then and there."

"N...No way, I don't believe you!" Tidus yelled, shaking his head. "That won't happen to Volkmar, no way!"

"Believe it or not, that is the path of a Black Moon Knight. His lust of the darkness, and power will become too great for him, and he will even kill his friends and lovers to satisfy the lust." Xisa said to him plainly.

"That's not gonna happen!" Tidus yelled, calming down a little to continue. "Not as long as I am here, not as long as the Heroes are here. I won't let Volkmar slip into the darkness, not without a fight! As long as I'm here...Volkmar will never give in, not to the Black Moon, and certainly not to you!"
He finished what he had to say, still gripping his weapons tightly he said. "Incendia, let's go, we're getting out of here."

"You have no idea how powerful the moons are. His heart desires power, and that is the only path that he can take now." He said, then the ball of light flashed. "I have no further need to be here." He walked over to the ball and pulled out a very beautiful jar. It was white, with 3 handles that looked like crescent moons. He then opened a portal and left the area.

"I can help!"
Jasmine had heard the commotion from not too far away and immediately rushed in when she saw the scene. Actually, that was the long and short of what she was doing the whole way through this crazy battle with the Sumata, was listening for cries and moving to give medical aid to whoever needed it.
She ran to Presul and tried to guide her to place Volkmar on the ground, already summoning spells to take over Volkmar's body and keep him alive so she could work on him.
"I won't have him 'good as new' right away or anything, but if you give me the time I'll be able to help him. He can't stay in this condition; if he doesn't get help now he'll be gone before you can get him somewhere else."

Presul looked up in surprise and then nodded at Jasmine as they placed Volk on the ground. "Thank goodness you're here then. I don't know how to heal or anything like that.." she said, sounding grateful (a rare occurrence for her). She looked toward where Xisa had left and shook her head. "I told him it was a bad idea..."

"If I just got here sooner...I could have helped him," Tidus growled, stabbing his swords in the ground and sitting on the ground. "Or...or did something!"

Jasmine began her work on Volkmar, dumping the contents out of her bag and working on cleaning the multiple gashes and repairing the insides of the man's body. He had a lot of internal damage and even with the spell she'd placed on him to balance his vitals while she worked she knew he was barely hanging on by a thread.
It took her a good few minutes and she was silent the whole way, fully focused on what she was doing. She had to work very carefully and piece by piece making sure she didn't forget anything but at the same time with great speed and precision to ensure he'd heal fully and normally. When Jasmine got around to patching up the outer parts of his skin she smiled, the final step applying bandages couldn't have shown up any sooner for her.
"We can't blame ourselves. The important thing is that he'll live. He's very weak and it's important that he doesn't get up and do something strenuous for at least a few days," she finally spoke as she got to her feet, gathering her things.
