The young princess sat softly on the lake shore staring out at the shining water. Her pale blue dress fanned out around her legs and her raven hair blew slightly in the breeze.
With a smile she outstretched a hand and drew in a small stream of the water to swirl round in front of her.

Zeek's footsteps crunched gently on the grass as he slipped down the small hill that was just before the lake, sliding slightly down as he walked. His brown traveling cloak fluttered around his legs slightly in the breeze that was coming off the lake, noticing a woman relaxing by the lake wearing a beautiful blue outfit, he was partial to the color. His arm dissappeared beneath the brown swirling depths, his hand slipping into the hidden pouch. He withdrew a waterskin, which was also enchanted to hold enormous amounts of water, but it still ran out occasionally. He drew closer to the water, watching the waves slowly wash against the shore in a relaxing rythm, he gave a small smile beneath the hood, sitting on his haunches and dunking the skin into the lake, his hood slipping off as he sad down, his piercing blue eyes looking off into the horizon, not really focusing on anything.

Kara stood and brushed of her dress with a sigh. The water still floated around her like a soft aura. She blinked her bright emerald eyes at the man down the shore from her when she finally noticed him. Who could that be? He didn't look familiar from town.

He stared off onto the horizon still, the lake water lulling around his hand, making a small ripple effect as the waves receded and returned. He almost felt like going for a swim, but decided against it. He probably shouldn't linger for too long, and there was still that wo-- that woman. Remembering someone else was there snapped him out of his thoughts as he looked down at the bubbled emerging from the top of the waterskin. He noticed her noticing him out of the corner of his eye, and pulled the skin out of the water. He put a cork in the top as water flowed down the sides, the sand absorbing it greedily as he stood up and stretched, feeling rather warm under the cloak. He was thankful for his hood being down, at least, and, flashing a glance at the woman, took the brown cloak off, bundling it up into a brown, tattered mass. He unclasped his pouch that looked too small to hold the bundle, and dropped it in, re-clasping it. He pulled down the edges of his dark blue shirt, it had been riding up. He stretched once more, his arms extending above his head before they returned to his sides. It was obvious that he weilded no weapons, and the chain mail underneath his clothing wasn't noticable. He didn't wear his leggings, only the torso piece. He found the leggings uncomfortable anyways, his black pants were loose on him, which was the way he liked them. He looked over the lake once more, thinking, but keeping an eye on the woman in his peripheral vision.

Kara put her hands to her hips and put her face in an inquisitive expression. Without her concentration on it, the water flowing around her fell to the ground with a small splash. Finally she decided on confronting the stranger. After all, what was there better to do? The young girl slowly made her way over to him. Even after so long of trying to be normal, the regal air about her still remained. "Hello!" Her voice held a certain musical tone.

Zeek immeadiately noticed that, although she tried to hide it, it was made obvious from the way she held her self that she was, or once was, of high standings, but made no comment. He turned to her, his sapphire eyes glinting slightly in the sunlight as he looked at her, giving her a quck once over. The lake behind him continued its relaxing, soothing rythm. Perhaps it was this sense of relaxation that made him greet her rather warmly.
"Hello."
He replied, taking a stride towards her, his feet crunching the grass beneath him. He took note that she could manipulate water, and smiled faintly. He held out his right hand, which had a black fingerless glove on it at the moment, he had been training earlier. However, this might make someone curious, as he held no weapons.
"Zeek. Zeek Mizu"
He added with a slight nod of his head, Indicating he'd like to know her name as well.

His warm welcome made her smile and curtsey as was customary. Just wasn't right to shake hands in her mind. "Kara Samsra, pleasure to meet your acquintance."

Zeek's smile lessened when she denied the handshake, but he ket a positive sprirt, his gloved hand dropping to his side with a dull pat, her musical voice was rather pleasant.
"Likewise"
He replied, looking out towards the lake, trying to think of something to talk of.
"So,you can manipulate water, right?"
He asked, making a vague gesture with a gloved hand towards the small puddle beneath her with a small smile.
"I have to say, I've only really met one other person who can manipulate water."
(by the way, are your character's eyes blue or green? your pictures conflict.)

((they're green )) Kara nodded bashfully, not wanting to give away too much of her talent. "It's a gift I am very glad to have. You can do it too? That's wonderful, it's quite nice to meet someone similar to me." He seemed withdrawn, but yet she enjoyed speaking with him.

He gave a slow nod, slightly surprised she'd caught on so fast. He held his hand out and a thin tendril from the nearby lake snaked its way through the air to touch the palm of his hand. As soon as it made contact, the rest of the water shot forwards and coated his hand thinly. This slowly drifted through the small gaps in the finger-slots of the glove, and when it was all gone, he flicked his wrist and suddenly a thin blade of water that seemed strangely suspended in time, solid and unmoving but obviously not frozen, stuck out from above hid middle finger, extending just slightly longer than said finger. He shook his hand and the blade dissappitated into small droplets of water that fell to the ground.
"Yeah, i can, but I'm not too good at it."
He replied, giving a slight shrug. Something about this woman encouraged him to talk to her, rather than ending the conversation and going about his business. Perhaps it was because she seemed to enjoy talking to him, or that she didn't look down upon him for being a wanderer as many did.

She stared in fascination at his hand, afterwards giggling. Kara pulled a small amount of water to suspend in the palm of her hand. With a contraction of her delicate fingers the pool spanned out and froze into an icy crystal the shape of a rose. "I can proudly say I'm quite good at it." Other then politics it was probably the only thing she was good at in her opinion.

He raised an eyebrow when she solidified it to ice.
"I should say so. I can freeze water, but not so well. I haven't practiced enough, I suppose. I usually just still the water so it solidifies..."
He looked at her for a moment, wondering if he should tell her about his fire ability....she seemed kind enough, and she'd just shown him how well she could freeze water, which could be a beautiful, as shown by the ice rose, or a dangerous ability. He smiled at this.
"That's quite a talent, by the way. I wish I had that much control. I do, however, have one more ability..."
He slowly brought both palms together, and pressed them together hard, pushing one hand one direction and one the other. They cam off eachother in a puff of smoke, and each hand how held a small ball of fire, flickering and maintaining an orb-like form. He flashed another smile.
"As I've said, I'm not too good with this, either, but it has its advantages."
He flicked his wrist and the ball in his left hand fell to the ground and rolled into the lake with a small hiss of steam. With his other hand, he cupped his left, and the small amount of fire extended out, forming a miniature tornado which spun around in his hand. Truth be told, he wasn't too good with fire, but he was much better with water than he'd let on, for there was always a chance of danger when dealing with someone you don't know. The tornado suddenly consumed itself in a puff of smoke as his hands dropped to his waist once more, not wanting to really show off much more.

Her eyes widened at the fire. "Wow rarely do people have the ability to control two opposite elements. I'm impressed." She gave him another curtsey, this one in respect more then greeting. "So why are you out here? Do you travel? And just by yourself?" Ok, maybe the questions were a bit foreward but curiosity had always been one of her weaknesses.

"Thank you."
He said to her compliment, finally smiling a full smile. Compliments were something hard to come by for him, and hey enjoyed it. He heard her questions and looked at her for a moment, his left hand clenching and unclenching once from habit, thinking. He looked her in the eyes for a moment, fixating his piercing gaze on her for a moment, as if searching for her intentions. After a moment, he gave a small sigh and decided to tell her, she seemed genuinely curious, and he was fairly sure he'd be able to take on an ambush...
he hoped.
"I'm here because I'm a wanderer, I travel alone, and have done so for two years. I left home because...."
Here he paused for a minute, as if trying to search for an excuse.
"Of unforseen circumstances, I simply travel from town to town picking up odd jobs, or occasionally being a sell-sword...."
He said, as if not proud of the pact, and he wasn't. He knew his mother would never have wanted him to act as a sellsword, the only thing was that he wouldn't kill other people, and hadn't. He hoped he never would have to.

"I see...I don't really have a place to call home anymore...but here with my friend Jasmine is the closest I'll have for awhile..." Thoughts of the life she had before the plague still floated through her head every now and again. The beautiful castle and icy capital she used to call her home. The family she wished she'd have held closer.
