The fox gave an offended look at Andy when he stepped in front of Kara. She pinned her ears back when Andy drew his sword...
But made no move to attack or even defend herself. Surprisingly, she purred again as she tilted her head to the side and gave a quick glance at Jasmine, lightly rapping her tail against the ground. She then craned her neck to try to look around Andy at Kara, and made a high-pitched noise almost like she was trying to call out to the dark-haired girl.

Jasmine frowned at the creature, not knowing how to react to the situation. It really hadn't appeared to be wanting to hurt anything or anyone, yet at the same time it was really interested in Kara...
Which, given what tricks their enemies would probably play to get ahold of her, was probably enough to raise suspicion towards the beast as gentle as it appeared to be.
"Now now," Jasmine's voice was soft as she spoke out to the fox, "let's just play nice, alright?"

"Play nice!?" Andy yelled, "That thing tried to kidnap Kara! It... hold on."
He paused, for there was a symbol on the side of the foxes fur. "Hey girls, I don't know much about this world...but what kingdom's mark is that?"

Jasmine rolled her eyes. "I was talking to the both of you," she said, taking glances back and forth from Andy to the fox.
As Andy pointed out the mark on the fox's side, Jasmine took the brave step forward to examine it closely - she figured it would be better if she did in case the beast leapt back into action and grabbed at Kara again.
"Don't worry, sweetie, I'm not going to hurt you," Jasmine slowly reached her hands out towards the fox, putting one hand on her back and the other smoothed out the fur so she could get a better look at the symbol. As she did, she raised an eyebrow.
"Santo-Luce - the kingdom of light," she finally spoke up before giving the fox a rub on the back, "now why would you be out here trying to steal our friend?!"

The fox continued to sit as Jasmine grabbed onto her, and she turned her head, trying to reach Jasmine and sniff her as she looked at her fur.
At the mention of "Santo-Luce", the fox's ears perked up again and she purred happily, letting out a high-pitched, 'cooing' sound as she immediately got to her feet and rubbed against Jasmine's side.
She grabbed Jasmine's hand gently and tugged, purring some more as she did so. She then gave a glance at Andy, dropped the blonde girl's hand and walked over to Andy, grabbing onto his sleeve and tugging at him, too.
Because as she figured it to be, the only way she'd get the pretty black-haired girl to her master was to at least bring the boy along, too...which she didn't want to do, but if she was able to make her master somewhat happy, she'd try it.

Jasmine raised her eyebrow at the fox's sudden energy, yet she couldn't help but giggle slightly as the beast pulled at Andy's sleeve.
"If I didn't know better, I'd say she kind of likes you, Andy," she said, stepping forward to try to pet the fox again.

The fox let out a small whimper again, tugging yet at Andy. She made no other motion or sound to let the party know about the copies of the beasts that were coming from behind them. Without any warning, three more foxes that looked entirely identical to the first one that showed up came running up to the three humans.
One leapt on Andy while the first one still pulled at him, another jumped onto Jasmine playfully, and the last one made to grab Kara like its colleague had done earlier and run like the wind toward the Santo-Luce kingdom - their master was counting on them, afterall.
