Exploring a new world (open to all)

[Miri, EarthGuard]

She nodded. "It happens occasionally... the worlds get turned to the side of evil. Entire races are affected. Tell me... are there any legends behind the founding of your world? Your power is... familiar. Not quite like mine, and yet..."

She shook her head, her expression puzzled, as if trying to identify a face she hadn't seen in many years.

[Ishtar]

"Hmm... " Ishtar closed his eyes and tried to remember the birthplace of his race. "They came from a place called 'Carepskulluumn.' (hint hint) Back then," he continued, "they only had two wings, not six."

[Miri, EarthGuard]

"Indeed, they may have some relation to me... maybe, once, my blood was in them, and therefore, in you. That might make a pretty story, no?" She smiled. "I myself only possess two wings..." and these she flapped to make her point, "...but the darkness changes that which touches it, and dwells in it's power for too long."

[Ishtar]

Ishtar nodded, trying to remember more about the ancient race that had found his world. "As I recall," he stated, "my ancestors were beings of purity and kindness and honor. Sure, my kind still has honor, but we're not kind anymore... " he trailed off, thinking of himself. Why was he the exception? Why didn't he give into the darkness where others would crumple beneath it? When Dark wasn't looking, he put his hand to his chest. Immediately, a feeling washed over his hand, a feeling that he was dunking his hand in both ice water and lava at the same time. He took it away before Dark looked back, raising his hand to the hilt of Seran. Ihstar lifted the sword from the beach and laid it beside him. "So, what is this world like?"

[Miri, EarthGuard]

"Peaceful," she told him, "Except for the Sumata problem, of course. There's been fighting, off and on, and yet... there's always a feeling of hope in the air. It's been a while since I've been to such a world. Magic is strong here, and each country is tied to it's own element. This is the Crepusculum Kingdom, the Kingdom of Twilight. Daytime lightens to a dawn-like quality, while night feels more like true tilight. Oh, you get more extreme times as you reach the borders - closer to Nerezza, the nights are darker and more like dusk, while closer to Santo-Luce, the days are brighter and closer to full day."

[Ishtar]

"Hmm... what are the Sumata?" Ishtar's hand was still on Seran. The sword had always had the effect of comforting him, as if it were another being.

[Miri, EarthGuard]

"The leaders of the thirteen countries that are fighting the Crepusculum Kingdom where we are now. Although... I'm not completely sure if all of them are truly with Trucido, their leader. Miri did encounter one who helped her help the Heroes, who are fighting the Sumata."

[Ishtar]

Again, he heard the name. It sounded familiar to the name his ancestors area of origin, but he quickly shook his head. What would be the chances that they came from here? "One more question if I may Dark, what are their goals?"

Her golden eyes stared straight into his, hard, piercing, cold, like the eyes of some feral creature said to hide in the darkness.

"Destruction, Ishtar. They wish to destroy this world and remake it in their own fashioning, and then they will kill the gods."

[Ishtar]

Ishtar's eyes widened in surprise for a moment, then settled down again. "That's horrible," he simply said. "Worlds are supposed to die naturally, and that is only when every living being on it has fulfilled their des-" Ishtar was cut off by a ringing noise. He looked up and saw a figure materializing just a few feet away from where they were sitting. Ishtar grabbed Seran and watched as the figure fell about 6 feet to the ground.

Roxa and Gensayce had left Riliath to it and set off, Gensayce was heading to the main city but Roxa had wanted to make a stop off at the Shimmering Lake. He had intended for a few quiet moments of reflection but people were already here, one of them was wearing a dark armour set that offset Roxa slightly "Sumata...?" he wondered aloud before shrugging, he and his Kishin were perfectly neutral and had no queries with either side, although Gensayce constantly expressed his concerns over the subject.

Roxa casually moved down to the lake bed and sat down, effectivley ignoring the other two instead simply deciding to skim a stone across the lake before fiddling around with the local wind, he couldn'r really concentrate with all these people around...

"So many visitors..."

Her voice and eyes had returned to normal, the DarkAngel gone within a heartbeat.

[King Roxa Hiaten]

"Allow me to give you some advice..." Roxa said his eyes locked on the still water ahead of him "We're all just visitors in this world, we all have to leave it some time but the real question is whether or not we will return" He picked up another stone and turned it over in his hands, his crystal gaze moving over every little detail "So take in everything you can..." He threw the stone towards the water and watched with satisfation as it skimmed across the water.

[Ishtar]

"You do not know how true that is." Ishtar stood up, staring where the person that had just arrived had fallen. He started walking toward the figure, wondering if he was alright.

Miri followed, but kept her distance, giving Roxa odd looks every now and again.
