If a Prophet sees all...

[Zee]

"Ma..ma'am?" Zee had almost taken a bite out of his apple when he heard the sentence.

[Seigmand Dezmar]

"What do you mean it's you? You help the Heroes you aren't possibly stupid enough to let him..." He paused, understanding she wasn't going to let Trucido do anything. "So how guaranteed are these visions you have? If all we have to do is prevent you from getting killed by him, that shouldn't be too hard then should it?"

[Profeta]

"It depends on how far in the future it is. If what I seen is going to happen in the next day, it will more than likely happen. If it is farther, then it can change just like that." She said, "Zee, do not worry."

[Seigmand Dezmar]

"Profeta, this may be bold of me, but can you relinquish this power of yours into the relics I hold? Surely if I were to find another to join me we would be powerful enough to strike down Trucido before he got to you. If we do that, then this entire conflict could end like that." He looked at her, trying to see past her cool front, hoping to see anything that would aid him in this.

[Profeta]

"It is not that simple." She said, "Even if I invest all of the bliss I have, you would need a lot more invested into it. And even if you get did that, then what? If you remove that ring, then you will become a violent monster, and you leave it on, and you do not get accepted into the heavens, then you will be placed in Hell."

[Zee]

"It....would be bad for that to happen ma'am." Zee had taken a bite out of the apple.

[Seigmand Dezmar]

"So for me to get this straight, you do not possess enough of this bliss to make this things work, yet you possess enough to allow Trucido to bring his plan to fruition. Is that correct Profeta?" He clutched the relics tightly, deciding it best to slip them into his armor for the meantime.

His eyes never left her as she talked. She seemed to have no emotions, and because of that she had no tells. He honestly couldn't tell if her entire story was a complete crock or if anything was truthful or lies. It frustrated him, leaving him with only his gut feeling to guess.

I hate my gut. Can't ever be sure of it.

[Profeta]

"Trucido has been gathering Bliss for over 600 years." Profeta said, "That whip he has, it contains he had store up after all of those years."

[Seigmand Dezmar]

"But the only one that will give him enough to make these relics work for him is you correct?"

[Profeta]

"Correct. As long as I keep my cave on a need to know basis, then I can extend him being a human, and will be easier to defeat." She said.

[Seigmand Dezmar]

"I see, as long as he never discovers where you are, then we will all be spared from his true power." Seigmand paused to let everything set in, though at this point he was glad to finally grasp the situation. "Very well Profeta, I have the perfect way to make sure that we all survive this horrible event, and best of all you'll be responsible for saving us all."

In a single sweeping motion Seigmand ducked, drew forth his staff and whirled it around ready to strike at Profeta. "If you really are an angel, than you won't mind sacrificing yourself for the greater good. Don't worry, I'll bury you so deep in the ground Trucido will never find you."

[Zee]

Zee saw him pull out the staff. Even though he was always tired, his reflexes were still fast. He dropped the apple in one second and thought of a spell at the same time. As soon as the man had gotten done talking, Zee let loose his spell. It was suppose to be a simple paralyzing, but with Zee's master being threatened, he put everything behind the spell. He thought he saw the man flying through the air before the dark of sleep took him.

[Profeta]

Before the spell could reach Seigmand, Profeta threw up a barrier, blocking it. "King Dezmar, If you want to fight me, then I can not refuse your offer." She pulled picked up her umbrella that was off to the side. She twisted the bottom, and reveal a small sword. "Just do not touch Zee."

[Zee]

In his sleep, Zee could could see around his body. His father had taught him this trick. Of what he thought was the man flying through the air was only a distorted reflection of a barrier. Master had protected the man. Zee did a mental shrug, if she didn't want him hurt, then he wouldn't be hurt. If only she would have said something sooner. Oh well, he thought, the images dissolving around him, he would be safe.

[Seigmand Dezmar]

Seigmand sneered at the slender woman. "This isn't an offer Profeta, merely what has to be done. As for the boy, if you want him unharmed, get him out of the way yourself!" Seigmand jabbed the staff towards her as a feint, falling short a few inches before twisting into a roundhouse kick right for her ribs. The ground around him seemed to shake with his movements, his geomancy coming alive in the deep mountains they prepared to battle on.
