It was a rare chance that Milicia had an afternoon to simply enjoy the pleasures of her garden. Between the endless affairs of the court, the dealings of her kingdom and her efforts to find a way to summon a hero to her cause, time did not usually permit her a break. And though the pressures of the outside world still ate away at her heels, she let the anxiety melt away as only the scents and sights of the various flowers fill her mind. She wore a simple dress, solid white with thin lacy shoulder straps and light, but finely decorated sandels as she strolled across the grass.
A few guards stood nearby, keeping watch against the unknown and possibly non-existant as Milicia merely sat down under an arch of creeping vines and exotic flora, letting each petal graze against her hand as she enjoyed the sunny day.
I do wish this time could last forever. She thought, lost in a swirl of daydreams and fanciful thoughts. But just as reality crashes dreams, a heavy earth shaking stomp in the distance crashed the queen's idle thoughts.

There was a breif silence...then a large creature, comprised mostly of bone leaped into the garden. The creature was Redreaper, a creature only found in Guasto, it was mostly the guard to Sumata Zelos castle. Speaking of, he was at a far distance observing.
Hmm... the sounds weren't that quiet, he's got to heard them by now...

Andy was returning to Crepusculum to find Yeligar, and to visit the grave by the Shining Lake once again. But when he heard the large boom he turned and saw a large monster leap in the castle, he drew his sword and gave chase.

Milicia bolted up to her feet at the sight of the deathly creature. She saw her guards shake with fear at the gargantuan monster as it climbed over the stone wall that surrounded her castle. With a wave of her hands, she called out to them. "Men, retreat! Call in the mages! We need more than steel to fall this invader! Zelos you coward. Attack me with your beasts will you why you stay comfy gods know where. With their queen's command, the guards moved steady in their newly found resolve, or at least out of relief they would not be asked to fight the abomination.
Milicia needed time to prepare for reinforcements, and hoped she'd be capable enough to stay the creature's attacks from her castle till they arrived. "Come foul beast! Your adversary stands before you, now face me in combat." Already her hands were moving with purpose, channeling the light magic around her to protect her.

((Taking control of the creature for laziness to switch accounts to do it.))
The redreaper looked at her strangley, as if it was studying her before the creature used it's four arms and drew four large swords. It twirled them a bit before charging at her.
Andy was almost there, he could hear the fighting just beginning. Hang on whoever's in there, I'm on the way!

Milicia quickly drew her Estoc from its sheath and held steady as the skeletal creature rushed closer. Her magic released as a glistening transparent film that covered her body. No sooner did the light cover her that she was already chanting a new spell, her words muttered and quick in an old dialect.
Just a few more seconds, then I can hold off the creature's attacks. Till then I hope the shield holds.

Andy leaped over the wall and saw the Redreaper run for the woman, he didn't see her charging a spell so he thought she was in danger.
"Getsuga Tenshou!" he swung his blade and a large energy wave hit the creature, the Redreaper turned as Andy followed up with a blade strike. The Redreaper blocked it and pushed Andy aside, who skidded to a stop in front of the queen.

Milicia was shocked by the intruder's sudden appearance, but not as much as the fact that the spikey haired boy seemed to be helping her, and doing quite well for himself. Side by side with the boy she felt questions could come later. All she knew now was that she had one enemy to fear, and two beings to be wary of. Finishing the spell on herself, her body felt light and her muscles, mind and nerves tingled with an accelerated power.
"Keep it away from the castle, I'll ensure it doesn't have a chance to hit you. Reinforcements are coming." It was all she said to the boy, not even meeting his eyes as all her attention was on the monster before them.

"Reinforcements huh, better move quickly then." Andy smirked, holding his blade at the ready. "I wanna finish this fight before the cavalry arrives, Bankai technique 2: HihiƓ Zabimaru!" The large bone snake hissed and lunged at the Redreaper, the monster swung it's blades at the snake but the large snake slithered out of the way. Slamming it's bone head into the side of the monster, causing it to stumble.

"Hey!" Milicia shouted towards Andy. The wild flailing of the young man's were trampling her precious garden. "Can you not summon a fifty foot snake to fight the creature IN MY CASTLE'S GARDEN!?"
Aided by the power of the spell she cast, she flew forward with super-human speed towards the Redreaper. Despite the four to one disadvantage of blades, she was able to easily parry its strikes like they moved at a snail's pace. As the last strike from its upper right arm was pulled downwards by her Estoc, she took the oppourtunity to jab the thin narrow blade into its elbow joint. Pulling upwards on the hilt, the sheer leverage cracked the joint, causing the sword and forearm to fall helplessly to the ground. Before the skeletal beast had a chance to attack with another of its free arms, she dashed back fearing the spell was wearing thin.
"Care to follow suit?" She asked quizically, a coy smile shot at the orange-haired warrior.

Andy blinked, disapating the snake and grinned. "Alright, now that was a sweet move."
He vanished and appeared in the air, cutting one of the arms. The Redreaper roared and twirled it's remaining two blades at the two of them. Andy dodged and struck at it, only grazing it though. He leaped back and smirked. "Shall we attack together?"

((I'm not sure if this is open, so if this isn't cool, just tell me and I'll remove it.))
"Chaaaaaarge!"
The yell came from youth brandishing a single Katana and a large steel paddle. Jumping from high up on the castle, he bore a sly grin as he descended quickly on the creature.
"Don't worry your Majesty, reinforcements are coming, I'm just here to pick up the slack in the meantime."
The large creature was daunting to some extent, but Musashi had faced mechanical monstrosities that would easily put this creature to shame, so he was confident that he could take it down before the mages arrived; a kind of personal challenge to test his skill. Gripping the handle of his Great Paddle, he lifted his blade high and swung down hard, harnessing the momentum of his fall to give his attack a bit more kick. The Redreaper held it's blades up to defend against the strike, but the paddle held more weight behind it that one would think and managed to cleave through the swords but diverged Musashi's slash off its intended course, as he missed striking the beast's head.
"Are you alright, your Majesty," questioned Musashi as he quickly bounded back upon landing on the ground.

"Very well young stranger, together." Once again muttering in the strange language she was already charging a new spell. As the spell almost sent her into a trance, she was largely unfazed as Musashi appeared from the castle in a spirited strike. The time he spent attacking gave her the necessary time to complete the spell. As she uttered the last syllable, she stretched her finger towards the creature as a stream of energy flew out. The thick purple stream flowed around th creature, seemingly binding it and constricting its limbs close to its torso.
"I am fine brave warrior, the creature has not managed to lay hands on me. But time is off the essence, strike now while its defenses are weakened!" With that she charged forward, her Estoc poised to thrust.

Andy grinned and ran up with her, pouring his energy into his blade and thrusting forward. The combined attack from the two of them blasted the right half of the Redreaper off. The large creature began stumbling around, falling against the castle wall and shuddering as the bones fell apart.
"Hah...not bad." Andy smirked, wiping his nose and turning to the queen and the warrior. "Impressive spells, not to mention I've never seen someone who can use a paddle for a weapon."

Musashi wasn't sure if the spiky-haired fellow was being genuine or facetious with his comment and decided that he should just demonstrate his prowess with the large oar to clear up any possible skepticism.
"Trust me dude, anything can be used successfully as a weapon, you just have to know how to use it right."
With this, Musashi turned his paddle and pointed it at the remnants of the skeletal-being that lay on the ground and, emulating Andy thrust attack, forced his oar into the creatures skull, fracturing the front of it and blowing a exit wound clear out the back, causing the beasts shuddering to cease.
"Totally owned!" He cheered as he did a quick fist pump. "See, Spiky, what'd I tell ya?"
