Sonorc was asleep in Kain's tent, when the sudden shout from Roxa woke him up. "Wha?" He shouted, and rubbed his eyes, "Damn whippersnappers, wakin' up an old man. I owe him a whack." He rubbed his neck, and looked over at Kain, "Hey, whats going on, Kain?"

*War Room.*
Kain concentrated on the plan that was spread out on the table, he went over it a couple times, making minor adjustments on it here and there. He was still pretty tense, less so from when he spoke to Roxa, that helped him stay cool headed and focused.
He wrote down some notes before looking over at Sonorc, "From what I'm gathering Roxa likes breasts." Kain shrugged, "Anyway, I'm just making some minor adjustments to the plans..."

"Oh, can I see?" Sonorc said, as he stood up from the cot. "It's good to let me see it before, because then I can go back into time and warn you about mistakes. Heehee." He chuckled as he grabbed his cane and walked over to Kain.

Kain moved a bit to his side to let Sonorc see, "If we fail to get the two armies we'll have to pull some risky moves... We'll need Grey to wipe out a lot of their army before we meet them in battle, but it'll only work for so long until Duo catches eye of him..."
He sighed, "I'm going to have Grey open me a path to Duo, I'll take him out there..." Kain gripped the hilt of Mani Katti, "When I go to do so, you'll have to take charge of the armies."

"Alright, it's better than me actually fighting. Not the strongest one of the bunch, so I can guide the armies." Sonorc said as he looked at the map. "So, what will you do after you confront Duo?"

"I shall end him." He said in a blank, cold voice. Kain gripped the hilt of his sword hard, to the point where the markings of the blade were being pressed into his hand, "By tomorrow, there shall be no Angelo's to trouble this world."

"No Angelos?" Sonorc asked, with a bit irration to his voice. "Kain, I will not let you go on a suicide mission! The world will need someone to look to. That person has to be you, I'm too old, and no one else can. You can't leave the job have done!"

"...You don't understand," Kain closed his eyes, shaking his head. Van was a loyal, smart man who could easily take his place if needed, but instead someone else popped in his mind, "Roxa will finish the job, he promised me that much."
He looked over at Sonorc and put a hand on his shoulder, "We have to be brave Sonorc, none of the other Saints may know what I will do." He had lost it but twenty minutes ago, but he had his cool back knowing someone would bring about his 'dream', even when he was gone.

"Kain. You know I love Roxa as my child, but he isn't ready for something this large. You can't just end it because you are related to Duo." Sonorc said, as he put his hand on Kain's shoulder. "It's your dream. Like Roxa make his own dream. You can't pass on a dream to someone else. Take this advice from a wise, old but still good lookin', man."

Kain cringed, he knew Sonorc was right, yet it was just to simplest thinking, "I'm not willing sacrificing myself, but it's the only thing that going to bring Duo down. There is nothing stronger then him, not even the damn gods will get involved with him!" Kain spout, "It's my job to finish him, this is my destiny, perhaps even the reason I was but on this world..."
He looked over at Sonorc and frowned, "You guys can do it, you don't need me, all of you can help rebuild this world."

Sonorc took his hand off of Kain, then he swung his cane and whacked Kain on the forehead. "Don't you dare say that! You are apart of the family, you can't just say, 'Live on your own without me.' I'm the only one that can do that! I lost one family, and I will not lose my new one!"

"OW!" Kain yelled out while covering his now throbbing forehead, "That hurt!"
He moaned about the pain a little more before looking back at Sonorc, "I understand what you mean, Sonorc, but... prepare for the worst. This is the battle we've been preparing for, there will be death but I swear I will do EVERYTHING in my power to get everyone of us out alive. Even if it means I do not survive the battle, don't you dare doubt that I won't do it if it means saving my family. You'd do the same."

"Ah..." Roxas said with a brief frown before looking across at Alessia. He remembered how people had treated her in her village, almost like some sort of religious deity, they had really looked up to her as their protector. It was painful just to even think about how much she must be going through, and here was him making an absolute fool of himself and in turn, her. Fidgeting slightly he looked down at his boots, scuffing the floor lightly with the toe of them he finally looked up to meet her gaze with a small awkward cough into his fist.
"I-uh... I'm sorry... I didn't know..." He said with another frown.

On the horizon, the brief sounds of marching could be heard, incredibly faint at first, but those who did hear it instantly perked up, many had looks of fear and worry wrought into their features. Had Duo's armies arrived earlier than they'd expected?! If they caught them unawares then it would no doubt be the end of them already, all that they'd prepared for would be for nothing! A few officers shouted commands to scouts to tell them to make sure that the forces approaching were friendly, and riders were swiftly mounted up, armed and sent off over the ridge.
After a few minutes they returned with an army. An army bearing the banners of Santo-Luce and then not far behind that, banners of Nerezza, and riding at the head of this grand army was Brea Cao-Wei, Nathan Firefly, Alta Frei, Quentin Warz and Crasa Alderi (who was wearing a weary smile), as well as a number of Itan-Sha recruits. A very timid looking, newly crowned King Frexton of Santo-Luce rode alongside the Saint and his Itan-Sha escort. As soon as they hit the village, Brea rode straight towards Kain's tent and dismounted.
"Kain?" He asked, with his arms crossed against his chest. "You in there?"

"You better. I don't want you to ever say there are no more Angelos in this world." He said as he put both of his hands on his cane. "Ah, Mr. Cao-Wei. How are you this day?" He said to Brea, with a smile.
