Elysia was about to protest, then stopped herself. No need to ruin the entire celebration- he may make Uncle Vasuki leave early. "May I be excused?" She asked, gesturing to the door. She'd already messed up once, so she had to be extra polite so she wouldn't anger her father any more.

Elysia followed him outside cheerfully- this would be one of the few times that she would be allowed to go outside without being under strict supervision from the tutor, and she intended to enjoy every minute of it. "Is it true that in Unda there are entire villages on boats that just float around? Did you go on one?"

She looked around carefully to make sure they were alone. "It's okay though, Uncle Vasuki. whenever he's not watching I take out textbooks he doesn't really let me read and read them myself- I've been learning a lot more than he thinks I have." She smiled at him, and getting anxious asked, "So what did you bring me? Was it from Unda, or from the other parts of Tuono you visited?"

"Okay!" She agreed happily. From Chalybs... I wonder what it is.. She smiled happily and then looked up at the cloudy skies. Lightning still flashed in them and she concentrated, a single bolt striking down and stopping just before it hit the ground and staying in the air, sparking and growing steadily. It remained for a few seconds more before Elysia released it, letting it hit the ground before he, leaving a burned star-shaped mark there. She sighed. "Whenever Father is around, I can never do anything right. If only he could have seen that- maybe he wouldn't hate me as much..."

Vasuki grinned, and said, "Wow, that is really good. My brother... he is too judgmental. I think he puts too much on you, but he is trying to make you a proper and educated lady." Vasuki knew that Celtik would never approve of his daughter, since he hated peasents and Elysia's mother was one. But that didn't mean he couldn't give her the care she needs.
"Hey, do you know to throw a knife?" He asked her as he pulled a few throwing knives out.

Vasuki grinned as he handed her a few. "Of course, I would want you to keep our throwing skills in the family. That is one of what a Donnorlupo is known for." He said as he threw the knife, and it went right into one of the stone bricks of the tower.

Elysia watched what he did and attempted to copy his motions. The knife fell dismally short of its intended target, embedding itself in the dirt instead. "One more thing I'm no good at, I guess..."
