The Moonless Devil was startled by Tidus, and didn't have time to react to the first move. However his backslash was stopped by an invisible object. "Do you think I would let my back open?" He asked as he turn his head around to look at Tidus. His hand reached and pulled out a scythe and he twirled it, "Darkness will rise and consume the moon." He swung down at Tidus.

Tidus blocked the scythe blade and snapped his leg up to a kick to his face. "Heard it, get something original would you?"
He quickly launched into a combo at the Moonless Devil.

Whatever hold the Devil had on our minds started to weaken; my senses returned.
'Our elements may make us what we are, but we all have a choice, the ability to decide who we are,' my sister had told me long ago. I believed those words. I made a promise.
No matter how many times I fail... I must always stand back up, and try again.
"Yuna!" I cried. "You can't listen to his words! The binding is weakening - you have to break it!"
Then I leaped forward, sending a wave of energy forward towards the Devil.

"Hah, Boy, I was the one that made these moves!" He swung his scythe in the blood, and the blood shoot up making blades aiming right Tidus. His body turned so his face was facing the same way his body "Do you really think you can beat me?" His back was towards Vash, and it was hit by the wave, but there wasn't a lot of damage, "I use to be apart of a god, Vash. You will need to do better than that, Kiran!" The Blood shot at Vash, making small bullets.

Power stirred through me, and I rerouted the Wisps that formed my wings into a shield, blocking the bullets as my eyes narrowed.
How did he know that name?!
I glanced back over to my shoulder, to where I had left Sayara, behind the line of fighters and safe. I turned back towards him, glaring.
"I don't know where you heard that name; part of a god or not, you shouldn't know it. But you're sorely, sorely mistaken.... I'm not Kiran, and I never was!" I gathered the energy filling my hands and sent it forward in a blast of light.

Xiza, had his blade at the ready, and then he then noticed to Yuna. "Yuna, Vash I need you to go down, and look for Volk's soul while dodging his body." He said to them, Tidus looked like he wasn't opening to listening to him, "We will handle the Moonless Devil." He ran up to the Moonless Devil, and tried to hit him on the side.

The Moonless Devil jumped over the blast, and missing Xiza's attack. "Oh, I know everything that Sayara knows. But You only exist because you stole his body, killing Shiira's love." He said mockingly, as he came down with his scythe aiming at Vash's head.

I looked over to him; I didn't trust him, but I had no choice. Best to leave the fighting to those who were good at it. I removed myself from the combat, nodding to Yuna, who'd been looking confused about what to do.
I knelt down next to Sayara, checking to see if she was alright before moving on. She didn't seem to be in too good of a condition...

"That little bitch is going to die soon!" He laughed at Vash, "And soon, so will Ketuluna! I will finally complete this after all of these years! Century after century of waiting, I almost did it last time, but they cut her energy, and therefore mine! She lost her memories, and I lost my power, but Volkmar! His rage was like an ocean of water that I could drink from! Now I can finish my jo-" He was interrupted with a blade in his gut, and he was pushed back.

Xiza used his blade to get the Moonless Devil away from Vash. He ran after him, and swung down at M.D. and then he dodged to his weak side, and swung an arc right at his arm.

The arc appeared to hit him, but when the smoke cleared, there was another scythe. "Seriously, did you think I am this unprepared?" Something moved behind him, and it appeared that he had 10 other scythes hovering behind him. "I will use each and everyone of my fingers to rip you all apart! Ketuluna is mine!" He then ran over to Xiza, and swung his weapons to cut him up.

I picked up Sayara's body; it was becoming too dangerous to leave her here. Not to mention that I hoped my own energy would help sustain her for a while.
Volk's soul.... in contact with Sayara, I could feel for it.
"Vash? What are you doing?" Yuna asked. I smiled.
"With Sayara's energy, I can find Volk," I explained. "Come on... I think I sense him."
I headed off towards the location I felt the strongest response from.

Volkmar's body was walking around, destroying body after body, when it sense 2 beings came running onto his field. He turned around, and roared at Vash and Yuna and ran towards them, and made an arc heading straight towards Vash.

"No!" I cried, rolling away, shielding Sayara's body with mine. "Come on, Yuna, let's hurry!" I dodged another attack as I ran towards where I could feel Volk's soul.
She nodded, holding his body off with damaging, but non-lethal shots; shots that'd do me proud.

Xiza raised his blade, but he couldn't block all of the scythes, as one of them stab right into Xiza's shoulder. He hopped back, and looked at his shoulder. He pulled the scythe out, and he tossed off to the side, while giving The Moonless Devil his signature glare. "Why don't you give up? You have no chance of winning." He told him as he ran towards the Moonless Devil, and swung his blade down on him.
