The swordsman gave Navarre a look. It was hard to tell, but it seemed like a look of disbelief. "..." The swordsman turned his head to one side and looked at Navarre through one eye. "...Is there some sort of reason you think I'd want to hurt this person...?" He ignored the question of his name for the time being - he didn't see how it was relevant to the conversation.

"The only thing I know about you, is that you do not like giving information out about your name, and you have a sword." He said to him, "Now, I don't know if you know him, or if he is wanted or whatever. I just don't want accidentally get him in trouble or arrested, since this is my first time being out here, and I don't know if he did anything bad or whatever. I just need to find him, and if you can help me find a city, then that would be great."

The swordsman spent a while just standing there without saying anything. He looked at Navarre intently. After a few moments, however, the swordsman appeared to have arrived at some sort of conclusion. "...I understand." He turned and looked away, off into the horizon. "...We are not too far from the capital of this land. I am heading in that direction. Perhaps there you can find more answers about the location of your lost friend...?" The swordsman eyed Navarre carefully, wondering what the sailor would think of this suggestion.

"... Thank you." Navarre said, as he let his arms fall to the side. "So, if you won't give me your name, then what about a nickname or something like that?"

The swordsman remained quiet for a while and stared off into the distance. "..." Finally, he turned back to Navarre with a somewhat reluctant look on his face. - [Comrades]"...My name is Rutger." He looked away again. His gaze returned to the horizon. "Now...let's go." The swordsman began to walk away and motioned for Navarre to follow him.

"Rutger?" He asked himself aloud, as he followed him, "That's an odd nickname, but I guess it will do." He made sure that he stay close to him, since he knew where he was going, and that he was the only one of the two that had a weapon.
*Close?*

The swordsman sighed. He was beginning to get the sense that this was going to be a long trip. Still... he may be able to learn from the stranger; it was too early to tell. "...Let's just go." With that, the swordsman led the sailor towards the heart of Santo-Luce. [Closed.]
