He pursed his lips and took a deep breath. "Okay... This is just getting weird... Do you know the way out or not?" He asked as he rummaged in his rucksack.

Scott pulled out a high powered flashlight and tossed it to Kouichi then pulled out one for himself. "So... What are you?" He asked.

He shrugged. "I don't even know anymore. I used to be human. Then...." He took in a breath, shuddered, let it out. "Some stuff happened. I thought I was human still, but I had some abilities I couldn't explainn. Then I came here for the first time.... I found the Spirit of Darkness; at least, I'm pretty sure that's what it was,e ven though it's not really possible. I got some new powers, but... I messed something up and I'm stuck like this." His ears twitched, and he shrugged.
"You get used to it after a while."

Scott slung his rifle and drew his revolver. Holding the flashlight on the bottom he rested his hand with the revolver on top and began looking around. " Does that tend to happen often around here? Humans being granted powers?... Also, you mentioned some "Trucido" guy earlier. Who's he?"

He chuckled. "Well, humans native to this place generally already have powers... but I suppose you could say it's common among those who've been brought here. SOmetimes I wonder if it's not that we've been 'granted' anything.... if we just had it from the get-go but never knew it."
He shrugged. "As for Trucido... you won't have to worry about him. He... he used to be the Archangel of War, but he fell. We defeated him one year ago - those of us summoned from Earth and elsewhere, those of us native to this world, and Profeta..."

"I wasn't summoned here... I jumped into a portal. I'm assuming you know what Grenades are, I had little choice in the matter... Who is Profeta?" He saw a shimmer of light at the far end.

He nodded. "Profeta was the one who summoned the first of us. You not being summoned is sorta obvious; Profeta was killed by Trucido."
He looked up.
"Definitely not Nerezza, then; there's actually light at the end of the tunnel."
Then he continued.
"Profeta was jjsut the Prophet... it wasn't until much later that we found out that she was actuallyt he Archangel of Prophecy, and Trucido's twin sister."

"Tons," he replied. "Half of the world leaders got killed in the ensuing battle, because almost all of them followed Trucido... until about half of them defected. It was... pretty complicated. But if the portals have reappeared, something is happening, I can tell you that," he said.
Finally, they reached the light. "Time to find out where w are," he said.

Scott nodded and grinned. "I'm a bit of what they call a "War Junkie", I love fighting. My old Lee-Enfield is trusty, probably 50 years outdated though... What do they use here?" He asked as he walked out into the sunlight.

Kouichi stepped intot he light and smiled.
"Probably nothing quite as sophisticated as your Lee-Enfield; they mostly have medieval tech here."
He turned, looking up at the sky, which was almost lightened to day, but still held a rosy glow. Then he turned again, back to where they had emerged, and stifled a gasp of shock.
"This... this is where the Prophet's Cave used to be! I know exactly where we are!"

"Probably, the best first stop would be Nachtundtag, the capital here," he began. "We could get you a set of Allorum-appropriate gear; all that armor's pretty unnecessary most of the tim and it's gota get heavy, not to mention hot. Also, I can't imagine you've got unlimited ammo, so a hand-to-had weapon is a must. I have to retrieve my nagi from one of the locals, but afterwards, I'll take you shopping."
