"Hey... Isn't that Mr Horo's signal flare thingy..?" 'Guo asked no-one in particular as he saw the small fire ball raise up into the sky. He slung his halberd over his shoulder and frowned, well, at least that means that Mr Horo was alive still, which was no doubt a good thing! He set off towards the location of the others, hoping to find some good news when he arrived, this attack had already been a bummer on his day. Especially considering how personal it had been, it completely stopped him from being of any use to anybody.
Finally catching up to Kurai, Rin (who he noted to be unconscious) and Vash he raised an eyebrow and approached his two teachers. "What happened here? What's up?" He asked, in his characteristically fast paced style.

"'Guo," I said, gathering all the cheer I could muster. "There's... a small problem I have to deal with in Guasto. I need you and Rin to come with me, while Kurai continues on with Shin and Dai on our original route." I smiled, though I wasn't sure how successful I was at keeping it... not as weak as it felt. "I need you for your abilities - the same way you've been keeping Shin on track." Then... I let my face go serious again. "'Guo, this isn't training anymore. You may have to fight. And... if worse comes to worst... Well, things could get a lot worse than you know. But I trust you." I put a hand on 'Guo's shoulder. "You can do this. I have faith in you."

"Awww man~!" 'Guo said with a melodramatic sigh as his whole body heaved forwards, he really hated having to fight! "I've gone nearly 18 years without a serious fight, un-including the one with Mr Horo on Vuoto..." He looked glum, as if he was just told his puppy had died. "Dad's gonna' freak..." He suddenly brightened up. "But! If it can't be helped, huh?! He scratched the back of his neck ruefully "Who knows?! We might make some new friends!" His grin widened.

"Maybe," I said, smiling. It ame more naturally, but... No. It could wait until we were on the road.
"Kurai," I said, "Take care of Shin, alright? And Dai, too, if he doesn't come with." Gently, I picked up Rin, holding her sleeping form to me with one arm. "I'll see you at the road's end, whatever it takes."
I grabbed hold of 'Guo's shirt with the other, unoccupied arm. "We're taking the fast way."
Wisps swarmed around me, and my wings spread over the both of us, pulling us into the sky. Both releasing some of my energy and allowing 'Guo's powers to drain part of it were starting to stabilize me, and I closed my eyes and lost myself, briefly, to the peace that was flight.
