As Enizo was tending to Dral's wounds when he heard a voice which made him admittedly stand up and turn around. Sure enough, he could see in the distance that Sahir was moving a little bit.
"I'M COMING MY LOVELY GOD-SLAYER!" What began next was best described as a 'slow run' through the rubble and destruction. His arms were held out wide as if to hug the lady but the distance between them made it seem like a lifetime of running.
"I'M SO HAPPY YOU'RE- WHOA, I'M GOING DOWN!" Enizo called as he tripped and collapsed into a pile of rubble. Thus ending his slow and dramatic run.

I chuckled at the boy's antics. I'd hoped he still had some of his own spirit left; meanwhile, I was busy helping to pull Roxa from the rubble. THe armor was a new touch, one I hadn't noticed before, but I was too busy concentrating to comment. All over the area I felt lives winking out, or the remnants of lives that had already gone. Here, there were a precious few who were still alive, still breathing, and my attention, for now, had to be on them.

"Owowowowow..."
Roxa winced as he was helped from the rubble by Vash, not that anybody could see it or anything. He took the time to take a proper look at himself. He was covered in steel plates of the highest quality... Two indents in the chest shaped like two amulets... A cape attached to the pauldrons by a thin chain... He felt at his helmet, which had curved horns. Man. He was really suited up. He delved into his mind, hoping to find Ave locked away, he knew this looked familiar. It was always how the spirit had appeared in his mind.
Roxa went silent for a moment as he jumped into his own consciousness. But when he found Ave, he wasn't looking at the usual chained up suit of armour... It was... Him. Roxa was staring at himself surrounded by discarded chains, sat in what appeared to be a comfortable arm chair. The apparition looked up and smiled, before speaking in the distinctly harsh tones of Ave.
"Ahh, brother. I knew you'd be here at some point." Roxa frowned.
"Ave..? What's going on..?"
Footsteps.
A second figure stepped forwards.
She was effectively a female version of Roxa.
"E-Eva..?" The girl smiled.
"Me and my counterpart here have given you our strength willingly. This isn't like the other times where we've taken over and used our energy, we've decided to trust it all to you, brother, for now. Be careful... If you use too much of our energy, you risk fully syncing with Ave here... And none of us know what will happen if you do that. Be careful."
Roxa nodded slowly.
"S-sure... Listen, Eva are you..?"
"Not now, Roxa. You have work to be doing."
He nodded again.
He opened his armoured eyes and looked down at his fists which were encased in metal. He sighed and shook his head.
"This is some heavy stuff, right here..."

Sayara hovered around rubble, looking for people and more importantly, her Lunar knight. She found some people, and pulled them out so that the medics could help them. Luckily, since she was the moon of the shadow, she could sense people's location. "Where is he?" She asked, as she revealed another Marine. Volkmar wasn't on the ground, but was cratered in a wall of one of the remaining buildings. He wasn't bleeding as the other, but he didn't moved from where he was. He was just thinking about this Duo character. This Duo guy... He is that strong? Volkmar thought, frustrated that he wasn't able to beat him. His aura flickered a little bit.

My eyes softened and I helped him up. "Are you alright, Roxa?" I asked quietly. "For a bit there... I was worried you weren't going to make it."

I could only stare in horror at what I saw, and with a perverse sense of interest, question just what kind of thing, creature or weapon, could cause such devastation. Feeling the bits of rubble and debris crush underneath each faultless right step, my left foot struggling more so to find stable or clear ground, I plodded my way through the remnants of the city, feeling a strong sense of uneasiness as I looked on at the destruction and remembered the sight of the explosion from on the sea.
The events that transpired in this city did well to reinforce my conviction, and now more then ever I could see how much, not only Chablys, but the rest of Allorum needed better means of protection, but I couldn't help feel overwhelmed in the moment, realizing all too well that any Magi-teck that I could produce right now stood no chance whatsoever against powers of this magnitude.
My deep thoughts didn't last long though, as a strange light shone just beyond my sight, rising up into the sky. It was strange and captivating, and the only real indication I had of where survivors might be, so with gusto aplenty, I rushed towards it, hoping that I'd find something or something to give me a bit of hope for the situation.
Being perhaps a bit hasty, I took to "strategically dismantling" any structures that got in my way, realizing that it'd be quicker blowing away rubble and half busted structures with a well placed blast from the 'ol knee cannon then trying to maneuver around it. With a well calculated blast there, a little use of the Kat Klaws here and there, and one final hop, skip and explosion, I tore through the dust...and found myself in the awkward position amongst a bunch of strangers.
Skidding to a quick halt, I just kinda froze, pausing as I glanced awkwardly at an old woman, young boy, a creature being tended to, and a girl who was oddly the origin point of the strange beacon that lead me.
"I....umm, sorry...I got a little carried away," was all I could mumble out, rubbing my left arm and staring at the ground to my side as if I was a child being scolded for misbehaving. Clearing my throat, I tried to stifle my outpouring sense of embarrassment and start again, hopefully with a bit more dignity and professionalism this time.
"I'm Katina Matrioshka Ernfinder, R&D spcialis...I mean, Queen of Chablys, or rather, one of them anyway. Ummm, our intelligence picked up on the situation here, and we deployed a contingent consisting of myself as the initial recon, and my sister with a batch of troops to support following behind. I apologize for the late arrival, but give me the sit-rep and then I can act accordingly."
"Okay, so a little messy at the start that time, and the end sounded a little cold and militaristic, but it'll have to do. Sure, sending the half-weapon-half-person to do recon made sense, but the whole having to deal with people thing kinda caught me off guard,", I thought retrospectively, suddenly feeling kinda awful for the latter part.
"...Speaking of that sister of mine, where the hell was she?" I wondered as I glanced side to side, body stiff and rigid. This was her thing in spades, the whole personal relations crap. Where as she'd already be barking orders and getting things moving, I just kinda stood there, waiting for one of the individuals in front of me to say... something, anything really, just so I could stop standing there like a jackass and do something useful.

Enizo sat up, cleaning his ears as if to make sure he heard right, "Queen... of Chalybs, with a recon force... on the other side of the world?" He blinked a couple of times, "Oh, that was quick of you. Did Unda or Vuoto (who was in charge again?) send for aid or something?"
Seeing that there were clearly more important things to be done, asking the queen questions were not one of them, after all there were wounded people everywhere and if she brought help then WELCOME, "Oh, jeez. My apologies - we have an unspecified amount of dead, probably ranging in the lower thousands, so with just a rough estimate I'd say there could be a couple hundred alive at this moment."
He directed his movement across the streets area, "The entire block was destroyed. We were battling Duo's forces not three hours ago but it sounds like they left the city, or the Undian Marines staged a comeback and kicked them out, either way we're on a rescue mission right now."

"To be perfectly honest with you Vash..." He looked down at his hands, the steel plating, the way that niggling feeling that he knew that he wasn't going to be able to simply pull these off... A deep worry suddenly lingered in his gut. He couldn't let Alessia see him like this, she'd throw a fit! Then he ran a steel-armoured finger over the inlay of two amulets against his chest and paused for a moment... That was right... It didn't matter how she saw him, he just had to find her.
"I-I didn't think I was going to make it myself... I'm still not entirely sure. This is all completely new to me... I didn't intend to, or plan to do... To do this..." He cocked his head to the side, eyebrow raised, despite the fact that Vash couldn't exactly see it. "You've seen more than I have, Vash. Have you ever... Seen anything like this..?"

I reached out, cautiously touching the armor.
I shook my head. "I'd need to give it some thought... it's vaguely familiar, but...."
I didn't say that most things were vaguely familiar b this time. Roxa still didn't know about me - it would probably be best if it stayed that way.
"Still," I murmured, "Soroe would have loved to see this. He might have been able to figure out how to help you... but he's not with us anymore." I sighed. "I wish I could help you more, Roxa. I'm not an expert on diagnostic magics - if we could find one, we might be able to learn a little more. I can interpret results, but when it comes to casting, I'm pretty useless." I laughed a little bit, rubbing my head. "Anyway, you're alive, that's what matters! Right?"

"Yeah, that's quite right I suppose!" He chuckled softly, the sound coming out more rattly through the helmet, but at the same time, his mind was working in complete and utter overdrive as he let out a sigh. Vash had been an enigma, even when he'd been a shadow-broker, Roxa could only put certain facts together, and even then he couldn't quite come up with a full answer.
He was definitely from Ketuluna, he could gather that much. The pointy ears were a trait of either elves or Lunatopians, and the latter seemed far more likely given where Vash had come from. His power and the fact that he was leading the Lunar Knights pointed to an obvious answer of him being a Lunar Knight, which Roxa would almost have settled on, where it not for the fact that...
A) He could swear he'd seen someone scarily similar to Vash 1000 years ago before they fought Duo
B) The person he just mentioned, Soroe. If his research served him right, Soroe had been a Scientist who had lived long long ago, longer enough that no human today would have met them in person, yet Vash spoke of him as if they'd been friends...
"Yeah... I'm alive..." His attention snapped to the arrival of the apparent Queen of Chalybs, and he awkwardly scratched the back of his helmet with a gauntlet, apparently forgetting that it was even there. The fact that he was meeting the new Queen under these circumstances were certainly awkward given that his old friend Aya had been the last King, and that he was trapped in a suit of armour.
"So that's the new Queen..?"

I nodded. "I suppose so." I sighed. "Royals just seem to be disappearing like Wisps... now Aya's gone and replaced by a Queen..."
Mortal lives. They're just too short, I thought to myself. But even for them... this is excessive.
"What's happening to the world?" I muttered to myself, pushing myself to my feet. "Roxa," I told him, "I'm going ot search for other survivors. SOme of them are in grave condition; I'll do my best to stabilize them."

"Yeah, I'll give you a hand." He looked back across at the Queen. Enizo had taken the helm when it came to talking to her, and that was perfectly fine with the King of Roccia. Truth be told, he didn't really fancy having his first proper political conversation with another monarch in the current situation... They could talk once the situation had defused.
Roxa headed out with Vash, to dig others out of the rubble, and help those who really needed it.

An attractive woman, bearing strong resemblances to Katina Ernfinder stepped forward from beyond the wreckage. She was well dressed considering the circumstances, and was accompanied by a number of troops. The way they acted, it was clear to see that this woman was their leader.
"I apologize for my tardiness." She spoke calmly, with a gentle nature about her. She looked around the wreckage. "Clearly this is the work of Duo." She stood beside Katina, and eyed all who surrounded them. "We are here to assist in any way we can." She didn't waste time introducing herself. Especially with the situation at hand. Now was the time for action. Introductions could be made later. For now, the wellbeing of her allies came first. Beisides; her appearance, and the way she conducted herself spoke for itself, as being the Second Queen of Chablys.

Annabelle barely jumped as Sahir awoke rather loudly. If anything, she chuckled as she took the girl's regained consciousness as a victory.
"Your pet is being looked after with proper care," the old woman replied with a warm smile before turning a warning gaze to Enizo that screamed something along the lines of 'you better be OR ELSE...'
with her attention turning back fully to Sahir Annabelle continued with a grin, "Try not to move so fast, I still have one more thing for you to drink before you'll be okay to stomp around again."
Her hand held out a little purple vial to Sahir. The girl would still need to rest and take it slow for a day or two but at least she could move!
Her eyebrow then raised at the girl as she noticed something was 'off'.
"Weren't you wearing something else earlier?"

The young lithesome form of Velestia scaled over the debris, ignoring the calls of weaker souls out in the distance and trying to focus on familiar voices or flashes of familiar faces. She'd faked a hobble somewhat convincingly, just in case one of the others might come across her before she noticed them. It'd be more suspicious if a girl like her didn't look a little injured after what had just taken place, and the last thing she'd need was to arouse more than what would already be placed on her. Like it or not, she'd already shown her face in Roccia, and anyone with a good memory would likely ask questions.
At last traversing for a good ten minutes towards the attack's epicentre she peered over a toppled roof and spotted a large congregation of them. Perfect. Wait, who are they? A couple of unfamiliar faces seemed to holding the attention of a few of them, and by the looks of one of them at least, they looked dangerous. She held back and kept low, keeping her eye on the events as they unfolded. If they were allies she could slip out at any time, but enemies posed a bit of a problem.
Bide your time for now.
