Alright, i've been on here for some couple months now, and it has come to my attention that I really don't know anyone, personally, beyond my immediate acquaintances (i.e., john and jess) and i figured that i should do something about that. I have of course heard things from the above stated people (good things though, i assure you) but i like to always experience things, relationships and people included, firsthand, and what better way to start then by learning a bit about you people.
Now I know nobody wants to divulge personal information on the internet, so I'll shall not be asking for people to do so, instead I'll shall finally put my MSN name up for all to see, (now that i finally have a computer of my own to do so with) and should you feel so inclined to chat me up, go ahead, I'd be curious to get to know the players behind the characters that I've interacted with.
On a tangental note, out of personal curiosity, I'm asking people to post on here what their favorite movies and/or books are. If you can't decide on one then don't stress, just post several of the ones that you really enjoy. This is once again just an effort on my behalf to try and get to know people, starting with the most basic and unintrusive methods/subjects for doing so.
For me: Movies - Jacob's Ladder, District 9, every Akira Kurosawa movie, The Shawshank Redemption, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest... I could go on for awhile here, i really like watching movies, but I'll stop with these.
Books - Hey Nostradomus, The Giver, Hamlet, 12th Night, and some others that i can't remember at this current moment.

Okay cool. Let's see.
Movies: The Nightmare Before Christmas, Memento, Sweeny Todd, Fight Club, Ace Ventura 2, Princess Mononoke, Grave of the Fireflies, and oh let's say Crash to name a few.
Books: The Ender, Shadow, and Homecoming series by Orson Scott Card, the Robot short stories by Isacc Asimov, Empire of the Ants, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe, Musashi, Xombies, Firestarter, Different Seasons short stories by Stephan King, Green Mile, and the Han Solo Trilogy by A.C. Crispin.
Also as I'm sure this will come up at some time I'll also add these in their own category.
Graphic Novels/Manga: Watchmen, Rurouni Kenshin, Excel Saga, Battle Angel Alita(original and Last Order) Mars, Eternal Sabbath, and Basalisk to name a choice few. My memory is a little hazy about all of the ones I've read.

Oh, boy. Asking me to list my favorite books and movies is like asking a little kid what kind of candy they like or what they want for their birthday. Um. Movies: I like just about anything action/adventure or fantasy, although there are some of these movies (based off of books, generally) that get me riled up. One favor? Never mention Eragon. As for actual movies, I can say - Almost anything by Hayao Miyazaki, the first two Alien movies, most Disney originals, the Bleach movies (Yeah, I like bleach, I know you don't ^^;; Books: Same tastes as movies. Isaac Asimov, Tamora Pierce, I like mysteries by Agatha Christie, I like the Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew mysteries, Harry Potter (haven't read 5, 6, or 7), the Young Wizards series by Diane Duane, the RiddleMaster of Hed books, Too Many Magicians (haven't read the other Darcy novels... actually I have but the other one wasn't actually written by Randall Garrett and kinda sucked), um... the Prince Roger books by David Weber and John Ringo.... geez, too many more to list. Yeah, that's me, your genuine nerd ^^ One thing, Dan - I have to admit the two of us really got off on the wrong foot. I hear you can actually be a pretty great guy, and I'm actually kind of pleased that you're willign to take the time to get to know us - thanks for giving us a chance, and I'll be glad to give you the same.
