She was shocked to see Roxa fall she couldn't even breath at first thinking he was killed but when he moved some relief fell onto her. She started to run to Roxa to help him walk out of the battle, "I- I..." she tried to speak but she just closed her eyes feeling the emotions of fear turn to sadness which showed through her voice, "I don't care, it might have scared me a bit but I'm just happy you're alive."
She wiped her eye with her free hand as they got out of the battle, "Don't rush into a battle like that ever again, okay?"

Why Kain would aim for a direct assault while Don had his shield in place he didn't know, but as the Kain's katana came swiping at the whirling orb, it collided with the twirling mass and deflected his sword off to the side. "Got'cha!" Don yelled as he felt the quick bit of resistance against his barrier.
From the sphere of quickly rotating cards, a single circle of them stretched out from the group and quickly fanned outwards; the spinning cards becoming deadly sharp and quickly turning into a spinning saw around the duo, the cutting edges aiming to sink into Kain.

One down... Kain thought as his blade sliced the girl, then without a moment he swung his blade so fast that it looked like it disappeared, finally he stopped and all the cards fell to the ground. He swung his hand and fire came from the ground, Nia's power, it surrounded Donovan in hot, deadly flames. Why his vision was blocked he rushed forward and sped right past the flames and with direct aim he slashed right at Donovan's chest.

Nia heard Kain's words, and they temporarily soothed her. Being reassured that there was no power that these people had that could hurt them certainly made her feel better, but still she could not help but worry as everyone moved with incredible speed past her into the fray. Regardless of how weak the other team was, she felt she had to help with everything she had.
"Kain...Kain!" she called after him, watching carefully to make sure he would not be seriously injured in the battle. Her hands twitched, and the flames grew higher and wilder as they spread along the ground.

Zeke nodded to Don. Looks like he finally got it perfected. "Okay Don, let's do this!" Zeke formed the remaining swords out of their inky caricatures and swiped them through the whirling barrier of cards. To most it would look like the errant dance of a madman trying to cut his way out of the barrier, yet the two of them knew better. As the blades churned against the cards they affixed to the blades, coating the remaining 4 edges entirely.
Zeke looked up to see the glowing orb of solar energy flying right for him and dodged out of the way last second. Hopping to a safer place with his brush at last beside him again Zeke hurled the short swords down at Kain's feet as if hoping to pin the opponent down. "I got a surprise for you Kain. You might think you're hot stuff cause you can imitate me, but I dare you to imitate a monster you've never met! Go Onyx!"
From the sidelines the still life of Onyx became three dimensional. With a powerful roar he pulled his fist back and thrust it out several times, each time firing out a small glowing ember whizzing towards Kain. While some flew right out towards him others paused midair before they all burst into a series of erupting infernos. The fires rushed towards Kain and Don as they were locked in battle. All the while Zeke never lost his grin, any worry about Don's well being seeming absent.

She heaved Paracelsus back towards her, twisting with a graceful flourish as her weapon swung around. As she pulled it around for another attack it flashed softly in her hands, the form changing to a group of large shurikens all connected to a length of the chain. Again the chain stretched out and with a whipping motion hurled the four large shurikens out at Aya.
Whirling around from the sheer weight of the weapon's momentum A.B.A. took a moment to steady herself, only the metal links left in her hand as she spun it around her. "I'm sorry, please don't hate me for this. If you would lay down and surrender we need not continue this empty battle." Her voice strained with helplessness.

Kain stopped mid away from his slash and flipped from Donavon, viewing the beast he smiled. Vanishing from his place he landed on a small house that was next to the once was Inn. "Don't think that little beast of yours is impressive, what we faced, what I faced 1000 years ago. Comparing you and Duo is like comparing night from day."
He held his blade tight then vanished once more cutting down the beast with one quick, clean slash.
"So I suggest you start bring out some stronger moves or I'll end this fight within the next minute."

Ayalan looked and held up his hands, rather though, his gauntlets as he felt the shuriken whip around his left and right arm. He dodged the first two shurikens in the meanwhile, the third one whipped across his face a bit, cutting his cheek, the fourth one piercing his left gauntlet and being stuck in it. No blood but he was pushed back far from the force He growled and looked up at A.B.A., shaking his head, "And I'm sorry too, but if you all just put down your weapons, we'd be happy on our way!" Aya could find no real tactic here besides teleportation, or.. He teleported behind A.B.A as he spoke: "Vena!" He was now on a table, still with hands up, not trying to hurt her still, as he pulled some splinters from his forearm. "I don't want to hurt you A.B.A.!" He let his magic guard down again, knowing she would keep attacking, but letting her know where he was, ready for a reflex again.

Yeligar looked at Roxa, and then thought It looks like take took him during when we was the most vulnerable... pitiful tactics. He looked at Kain, and tighten his grip on his lance.

Sonorc freaked out when Alessia touched the kettle. She pour the tea into the cup and did everything for him. This made him mad, because it made him feel so old. "Hmm. I am going to take my time with this." He said as he dipped his tea leaves into the cup.

Tidus saw Faey get slashed and run over, using his blitz instincts to dodge attacks.
"Hey! Are you okay?!"

Kevin dodged the strike and used the butt of his sword to hit Bartholomew's stomach and used his palm to strike at his throat.

She glanced at the guy- she thought she'd heard his name, Tidus?- and nodded. "I'm fine, the cut wasn't deep..." She looked down at where her hand pressed against the wound on her stomach, not doing much to stop the blood from soaking her ruined t-shirt. That might leave a scar, but it won't kill me... Damn it hurts... But those other guys have gotten worse than me, I should be able to handle this if they can.

"Oh man...you're losing blood..." he looked around. "Nnnnn damnit for not knowing a freakin cure spell."
He saw a small clinic over there and he smirked, score.
"Come on, if we leave you like this you'll bleed out. Or one of those guys will try to land a freebie on you. There's a clinic right there."

"I'm fine!" Faeylinn said stubbornly, not liking being referred to as a 'freebie'. She ran over to where she'd dropped her sword and picked it up, holding it defensively in her right hand, her left still pressed to her stomach. She felt a bit light-headed when she repeated, "I'm fine. I can take care of myself."
