Van quickly checked his metal tips and jogged the rest of the way to the inn. "Kain, what's going on?" He asked as he got there.

"HEY, ZEKE," Vincent's voice boomed with impatience, "it's more than obvious they don't want us here for a reason, a reason that yes, we are trying to find out. And where I agree that perhaps we should deal with this through negotiation first and weapons last, there's absolutely no need for us to be going and dispensing all of our personal information, let alone gather theirs."
He looked back at Yeligar and added, "We're all just part of a peacekeeping army, doing our job. We don't mean harm unless you give it, but we really don't need to turn to that. That's all they need to know."

Tidus was with Volkmar when they were at Profeta's cave, and before he knew it they were at some tavern in the middle of nowhere. Tension was high, his Blitzer instincts were kicking in. He kind of bounced on his feet, like an athlete ready to begin his marathon. It was obvious these guys were bad news, oh they didn't say it but...it was the way they talked, like they were hiding some suppressed rage. He could really feel it from the guy in front of them, Kain.
It was probably the athlete in him that could feel these emotions around him, all being said, he was ready for a brawl if it came down to it.

"Looks like you are ready to." Volkmar said behind him, in a quiet voice. He had a hilt in his hand, but did not pull out the sword. He was behind some people, so the enemy could not see it.

Ayalan was now more toward the others as he looked back to Yeligar and nodded, "Sir. Just trying to establish a better communication link through use of trust."
He knew how to take orders from an official, and since Profeta was currently aiding his monetary situation, he thought nothing of it.
Aya looked at Kain, then A.B.A, then at Van as he kept his hands up, "So, to continue, why did you want that guy anyway?"
He kept his hands up to show he wasn't a threat, "I mean we're still at each other's throats in distrust and we don't even know your names. I'm Ayalan."

"The question is actually what do you want with him? He walked willing with us till you came, he's running from you... not us." he wasn't going to tell why, he wouldn't even tell his own men why they need him so he differently won't tell this group of people.

"I know, he's looking for Trucido for revenge. But this is not just some random battle, Yeligar." He touched the hilt of his sword once more like he did before, "Once you interrupted and let Mark get away you started a fight. Now you must be prepared to face the wronging of all your actions..."
He smiled a dark smile lifting his hand from his hilt and taking a step back, "Saints, beat them around a bit."

Roxa smiled darkly raising the onyx sword, he pulled back and rushed forward in a blast of air towards Yeligar, he had a feeling the man was powerful probably powerful enough to equal Roxa in combat but all the same a fight was a fight and this fight was for the saints.

Yeligar quickly turned to Roxa, and raised his lance, to block the blast. He was shoved back, and he looked at the kid. He quickly fire a small ball of lightning towards him, and then he quickly followed the ball.

Roxa moved swiftly to the right of the energy blast and pressed forward himself, his intention being to meet Yeligar head on. He did not fear the man as much as the Archangel, but he made sure he would not underestimate him, he brought up the glinting sword aiming to bring it down towards his head.

"Roxa!" She yelled suddenly as he took off to Yeligar, her scream falling to death ears as blades clashed. She wanted to help, she really did but the amount of energy she had stored up was from 1000 years ago and she was almost out. The sun would be up soon but till then she could do no more then throw a couple defense moves at her enemies. She took some steps back away from the battle a little behind Kain, know if someone came at her at least Kain would guard her.
"Be careful, Roxa..." she whispered as she waited for the sun to rise.

As the sword came down, Yeligar moved to the side a bit, so it miss his head. It worked, but it grazed his shoulder. He quickly swung his lance at Roxa's side.

Roxa had managed to close the distance, bringing up his other sword he blocked the strike but it still moved him a few inches, his two swords would help him in the closer space whereas the lance would be clumsy and difficult to use, keeping the silver sword against the lance he brought the Onyx weapon around in a circle at Yeligar's side.
