Jasmine blinked at Andy's response, her face falling as though she were offended for a brief moment before he threw in his question about 'hiring' her. She raised an eyebrow as she stared up at him, and then with a big smile and not caring about who was there to watch and make fun of them she threw her arms around him in a tight hug.
"Just come here!" she giggled. This was probably what she missed the most about him, that closeness that they had.

Zeke's head was still swimming, although feeling better as he no longer needed to concentrate on any creations. He glanced down at the tea cup hungerily, reaching out for it with...
Nothing. Zeke lunged forward in his dazed state, pausing for a second before groaning. Ugh, crap. His brush nudged the tea kettle over just enough to let a cup fill up before he leaned in to drink it down. "Ahhh, now that hits the spot." His mind already feeling clearer from the refreshment.
Which made it all the more jarring when the shrill cry of an all too familar voice called out to him. Zeke whirled around to see the elderly Miss Fraus moving up to him, staff swinging wildly around the others crowding into the cave. "Oh, hello ma'am. Umm, I don't think there's much for seats around here as you can see." Zeke gestured towards himself as he sat on the bare stone floor. "You should probably bug Profeta for that I suppose. Either her or the white haired maid she has here."

Profeta looked around, and said "Now, for the people that are here. A couple of days ago, a strange storm, came and formed a strange symbol. I have been trying to find the symbol, but I have not been able to find it in any of the books. So, because of this, I need a large group of heroes to go, but not all of you."

Andy's face went bright red as she hugged him, his hands were caught on his cloak as he hugged her back. Although it did hurt a bit from his wounds.

Ayalan leaned in to ask, "So what's the seeming risk of going? I've already found myself under attack by a dead creature, I can imagine it'll be worse than that." He laughed, and folded his arms, "But hell if I care..I'll go."

Zee came back with another tray filled with tea cups. He put the tray down and started filling the cups with the tea. "I...uhhh...don't know who wants any tea, so I filled all of the cups." Zee sat in the corner and started reading his spellbook, not wanting to get in the way.

There was a creepy chuckle from across the room, coming from the little old lady who had taken to sitting on her knees on the floor beside Zeke.
"Perhaps it is not a symbol you could find in any book...perhaps it is something that we were warned of in ancient times, like the apocalypse! It could be a great truth finally revealed to us, a message from our gods..." Annabelle spoke dramatically, as did her hands as they waved themselves around exaggerating every word she spoke, emphasizing certain ones like "great truth" and "message" and "gods".
She then shot Vincent a sly look as she dropped her act and threw in, "or perhaps it is the sign of an alien race coming to collect useless mortals like my son-in-law. Thank the heavens, it's about time."

"I know every symbol that the gods have made, but this was not made by them. This was a strong seal though... Maybe it an angel did it. So all of the heroes that want to go, please head now. Yeligar, can you lead the group?"

"I'll go. Milicia said that we can't do too much else at the moment anyways." Zeke came and stood near Yeligar. After the events in Ketulunanox, Milicia had seemed almost content to leave everyone where they were. She hadn't said too much as to why, but it was as if she seemed to be waiting for something to happen. All the same it had left Zeke and Donovan little more than sitting around the kingdom for the past few days.
"Hey Don, you want in on this? Might be a nice change of pace after all." He tossed his friend a large smile, urging him to come forward.

Vincent's eyes narrowed at Annabelle as he retorted, "Hey, the symbol could mean an alien will show up and take all of our senile and old and then through the process of elimination find himself the perfect woman...oh wait, I think you're the only one who falls under that category, actually. Lucky you, huh?"
He threw his gaze to Jasmine then as he then announced, "If Yeligar's going then I'll be, too. Would I be correct then to assume you're heading out too, Jasmine?"

Jasmine glanced up at Andy, then to her father. Just as Vincent had done with her, she had kind of assumed Andy would be heading out to check out this symbol himself. In which case, she smiled and nodded to Vincent.
"Of course I'll be going. I need to make a quick stop at 'home' first, though..."
And by 'home', she meant the ruined house by the lake. She had one last thing to do there before she was done with it for good, she felt.

Smiling and swallowing a lump in her throat, Jasmine grabbed Andy's hand and gave it a squeeze.
"Of course. I think you'd want to come for this, especially..."
She directed her attention to Yeligar then as she added, "With that in mind, Mr. Maelstrom, I think we should take our leave now and catch up with the group, if you don't mind."

"I do not mind, dear" He said as he put on his gloves, "But you two better not have some 'fun' at 'home'" He finished his tea, and walked towards them "Be safe, you two. I do not want you two to get hurt."
