The chain fell limp to the ground and A.B.A. turned to face Everto with every bit as much disdain as she felt for Zelos. Before she could question him, his mentioning that Kain needed them left her conflicted. She pulled her weapon back and reformed it into Paracelsus.
As she moved close to Everto so they could leave together her eyes remained locked onto Zelos. She had no words for him. She didn't need them. They both knew this conflict was far from over. A.B.A. wouldn't let him be. As she stated before, it was a matter of pride for her. "Let's go Everto." She muttered bitterly as she stood next to him.

"Is this the path you have chosen?" Zelos asked as she walked, "Knowing that we will stand on opposite sides on the battlefield you choose to walk it anyway?"

"As I said, your existence if an affront to everything that I stand for. I'll admit you are the heir to my father, but I hold no bonds of kinship with you. Make no mistake, the day will come when I'll be back to settle this for good." It was all she had left to utter before she turned and left the hill.
"You're just going to leave him A.B.A.? I had thought you wanted him dealt with." Paracelsus droned out wearily.
"Kain needs me more. The Saints mission comes first. And when that's done, I'm sure he'll still be alive." A.B.A. moved as quick as she could towards him. She tried as best she could to keep his spirit focused on her hate for Zelos, or her duties to the Saints, but still the thought slipped through. Father, did you truly forsake me?
