Bart was looking at a map that he was handed from Kain. "...Lot of people here. This is is going to make this take longer." He looked at Nia, "Do not burn anyone."

"Fifteen silver, please! It is a fine hat, one that will bring out the lovely lady's eyes. It is a fine hat for fifteen silver. Fifteen silver, please!" Nia followed Bart along happily, now sporting a black hat with a very large and elegant violet feather...  ....she bought this half an hour ago. The people around Metalpolis gave Bart and Nia raised eyebrows as they passed, not for the way they were dressed but because of the way the young lady by Bart's side felt the need to babble to herself as they walked past. |

"Why do you have that hat? Being pretty is not important right now." He said, "And don't waste the money, we may have to buy the shard. Also, stop talking, you are making a scene, and we do not want that." He scratched the back of his neck, and tried to look at the map better.

Nia stepped away from Bart as though she were expecting him to try to snatch her hat away, covering her hands over it and giving him a questionable look.
"It's not time to be pretty, it's time to buy the shard. It's a lovely shard, it'll be fifteen silver!" she muttered, a little quieter and played with the feather on her hat for a moment before she glanced back at Bart, "...where is the shard found? Will we need to buy it? That'll be fifteen silver."

Nia's eyes widened enthusiastically as she was handed the map.
"It is a fine hat! Read the map, Nia!" she announced to herself as she pulled it open and stared down at their course marked on the browning paper, "....we go through a forest?"

Nia growled frustratedly and pointed so Bart could see as she answered, "Right there! Look! We come off of this road and then there is a little forest right there!"

"Wonderful, first Nias hat, now a map... I really hope that you are not right abut possibly having to buy the shard, Bart. If any more problems come up we probably won't have enough money left afterwards." Ineria said as she walked next to Bart, trying to get a good look at the map.

"I never said I was going to buy a map, I just said we need one." He said as he handed the map to her. "Unless you can find the location of the shard, then find it." He handed her a map as he looked at the signs.

Nia simply smiled, adjusting the hat on her head and playing with the feather. She turned to Bart and stared up at him, glancing back a moment to watch Ineria.
"Fifteen silver, please!" she shouted once things got 'too quiet' for her own satisfaction. She felt uncomfortable when things got quiet. She was also itching to light a fire, but tried to keep the thought from her head as Bart would probably get angry if she lit something out here right now.
But she wanted to so badly...
The sign post. The sign post would light easily and quickly. Probably wouldn't pass on to anything, either.
'No, Nia,' she thought, 'Bart will not like you burning the sign post. He said to not burn anything.'
Nia bit her lip, this was hard. She couldn't burn the shard, she couldn't burn the map, she couldn't burn the houses or the grass, she couldn't burn anything but wanted to so badly. It'd look pretty. She fidgeted, bit her nails, played with the folds of her shirt, flipped through the pages of her little book...
And eventually caved into her need for instant gratification and outstretched her hand, finger pointing at one of the signposts and it exploded into flames. Nia let out a sigh of relief and a giggle promptly afterward. It felt good.

Bart sighed as he saw the sign burst into flames. He walked over and grabbed Nia, and looked at her, "What did I tell you about secretive?" He asked her, then he let her go.

Nia whined.
"That hurts!! It wanted it to be done, it looked pretty..."
When Bart let her go she whimpered and hugged close to Ineria.

Ineria tried not to laugh.
"Calm down Bart, she tried to hold back at least. Besides, it could get a lot worse... Imagine if it had not been a signpost." she pointed out.
