Ayalan tossed his sword hilt in his own hand, sighing to himself as Kain disappeared, closing his eyes.
It's finally over..
He felt pain here, there, everywhere: He was sure that it would take years of physical recovery..had there not been magic. He was alleviated at the concept of magical healing for once.
Aya held his arms, and walked up slowly, starting to trace an image in the sand, as best he could.

Jasmine stepped forward, having stood back watching one of the craziest scenes she'd ever experience in her life. As weird as it was to admit it, she felt very bad for the Saints...
But she quickly sucked in a sharp breath, remembering she had to keep to her duty, to help the injured--or those who she could actually help. It hurt to watch the others die like the did. The closest one to her at the moment was Aya so she figured she would start with him, approaching him slowly with a small bottle of a red liquid.
"Would you like some help? If you drink this, it'll patch up any internal injuries--I can look after the ones on the outside here fairly quickly..." she spoke softly, holding the bottle out to him but not even waiting for an answer as she waved her hand in front of him, muttering a very non-english incantation. Whether he wanted her help or not she was determined to just make sure everyone who could be saved would be alright; Jasmine smiled then as outer wounds closed up instantly.

Ayalan breathed in and took the bottle, "Well I've nearly died multiple times today..what's one more time?" He took the bottle and grinned, drinking the potion and grunting to himself...
"..Ngh.." It definitely didn't taste great, but he felt better to see his burns gone, and his bruises gone, standing up, all that remained was the hole in his leather armor, as he touched it, it still felt singed and warm.
He looked to Jasmine, as he nodded to her, "Thank ya. I owe you one." He said it lightly, and turned around, "..C'mon Malice. Let's go. I gotta find Nia...This isn't our scene..let's go live life." Aya grinned and patted his shoulder, and then went ahead, slowly, and tired, down the next flight of stone built stairs, leaving behind the words written in the sand: 'Requiescat in pace: Semper Fidelis Saints'
Just that way, he was gone, off to leave the Heroes to their way for now, they would know where to find him.

"Miss Loque, be careful with my body please." Zee transmitted to her. He closed his spirit book, flew high in the sky, and shot off into the new dawn.

Roxa took a step towards Sonorc, his face plaintative and empty, he was unsure what he should be feeling right now but sorrow was definatley one of them, not only had Kain gone but he knew that Sonorc was not going to be with them much longer "Yes Gramps...?" he asked with a weak chuckle.

*Mark looked around the tower, the nuclear blasts Grey had done had vanished. There was no sign that it was ever there. Mark shrugged thinking it must have happened when Grey died or maybe it was one last good action from Kain before he went into the underworld.*
Mark: Well I'd love to stay but I can't, I've got things I must take care of... *Mark waved back to the Heroes then jumped into the air. It wouldn't be too much longer till the tower retreated back to the earth but the others would have plenty of time to get away.*

"Roxa, I need you to tell the rest of my children that Kain loved them and that he is sorry how everything had turned. He had always care about all of you." He pulled off his whistle and tied it on the dagger of time. "Never forget us..." He then started to turn into sand and the sand went into the dagger. His clothes, and weapons only remained of the old man.

"Always remembered gramps..." he muttered clutching onto the dagger and blinking back tears, that was it, no more people dying, standing up straight he muttered quietly almost to himself "the Kishin will stop this happening again" And with that he whispered something to himself before leaping upwards into the air.

....I think I realized, why the Saints bugged me so much. They are just like us, they're not like Trucido's Sumata: a group of men and women working for an ideal. No they were a family. So I expected to come in, sword swinging, thinking I could take down the enemy. What I didn't expect was such a tight knit group, maybe even more closer than ours. Maybe this bothered me, or maybe I could sense what Kain was going through. A man on the brink of insanity, any further push would doom his own Saints through his anger and thirst for power.
Like me? I...hate Trucido, with every fiber of my being. I eagerly sought a power that could be enough to take him down. I cast aside my training, and nearly my friends for it. Nearly, but, what if I made that push? What monstrosity could I become? What evil could be cast from my good intentions? I would be like Kain. A man with enough power to harm Trucido, but turned his back on us.
Semper Fidelis. Grey always said that about him and the Saints, "always faithful"? A majority of them were faithful indeed...but not to Kain. To the mission they once shared. A mission that is our mission now, to be protectors when people need them. To be saviors.
To be Allorum's saints.

(Wow... I don't even know what to say to that except *clap clap clap* Bravo! Amazing arc, I can't wait to finish the Sumata one and see what's next.)
