Gender: Refers to himself as a 'he', but doesn't really have one.
Description:The Other stands nearly 10 feet tall and has a very muscular physique. His skin is black and shiny like leather. His face is flat, no nose or ears or mouth and with two dull yellow slits that sit where eyes should be. His head has an array of tendrils that he keeps to appear like hair. His voice is deep and charismatic like Tim Curry. He wears nothing as his body is his most faithful offense and defense.
Personality: The Other is an enigma. He is an evil as great as they come when he desires it, but he has his own code of conduct that prevents him from being a savage murderer or destroyer. To call him a demon would anger him with how it would lump him in with such base and vulgar evils.
In the end the Other is a being who revels in being worshipped or feared, and loves it if he can be both. For those that are too strong to be bullied and beaten into an underling he enjoys manipulating them either to fulfil his own goals or just for his own enjoyment.
Occupation: Ruler of Ariadelvento, Independent
Equipment: None. He deplores weapons and tools and feels himself too superior to be bothered with mortal items.
Weapons: His own body.
Combat: The Other is a user of the dark planes where monsters and abominations dwell. His body acts as a permanent gateway to those realms and can usher body parts of the beasts to strike out.
However, unlike Scarth Vandeel who only borrowed some of the Other's power, he is fully able to make use of the gateway. With a longer amount of time he can fully bring out demons and lesser beings from the dark realms to serve him. In addition his body possesses regenerative properties when he absorbs flesh and souls, often making use of his servants to heal him should he be injured in battle.
Flaws: Due to his bulk and self confidence the Other hardly ever bothers to dodge anything, often times taking attacks head on or blocking them with his power. The one exception is to any users of Holy and Purity magic, which he is deathly weak to. The touch of a purifying healing spell can cause him immense pain, and contact with other Holy magic will cause him to lose his gateway powers for short periods of time. It is a secret he guards closely, for it is the only thing that could lead to his death.
History: See the history of Scarth Vandeel for previous details. Due to the events leading up to the end of the Sumata arc the Other used Scarth to consume mortal flesh to regain his lost strength. When at last he was strong enough he used the battle within the heavens against Yeligar and Angelus as an opportunity to crush Scarth's ego. Leaving the insane king mentally incapacitated there was nothing to prevent him from taking total dominance of Scarth's body and allowing him total freedom and control over his host.
