I am currently running the free-trial version of RPGMaker, withhopes of getting the purchased version before too long.
That being said... some of you already know about this, but...
I'm going to be attempting to make an RPG based on Crepusculum Regnum. I'll need all the help I can get. Images of characters, links to downloads of tilesets/character sprites, input on what should be included/left out... all of these would be appreciated. I mean REALLY appreciated.
Also, I would like soem input on how the game should be played - should there be a world map, like in FInal Fantasy? Or should all areas be connected? Should there be random encounters or visible roving monsters? Note that, due to the limitations of the program, I may not be able to do certain things, no matter how cool or awesome they would be.
Thanks for the support!

Hey, that sounds pretty sweet. Being an old school RPG junkie, perhaps I could assist in some manner. I'm not sure in what manner I could assist though, so just contact me with any idea as to what I can do. As for ideas, I'll be the first to say I'm biased, but I always dug the world map and random encounter way of doing RPG's. I would love to give some more possible ideas, but I unfortunately don't know what the programs capabilities are, so I might do some looking into it myself and see what ideas I can put forth at that time. Best of luck on your endeavour Miri.

I have come up with a way to do the world map, and someone has actually offered to help me with custom tilesets, so I will be asking him about help with tilesets for specific countries.
I can't wait to do some more work, especially since I've started to figure out the ins and outs of the program.

I am familiar with the program, as I used to use it many, many years ago. I also took a class in video game design, so let me know if you need any advice. I don't think you will, though; you've got it all figured out already, no doubt. I think you should stick to the game's main settings and have it be more of a Final Fantasy type of game. I think CR's backstory will lend itself well enough towards that and it will be the most fun, the most straightforward and give you the least amount of technical hurdles. Can't wait to play it! Post screenshots sometime!
