Alright, everyone. So by now we should all know of my awesome ability to draw random crap and then shamelessly post it, right?
I want to apply it to some good OOC fun, kinda like what I did here once upon a moon ago.
Except this time I want it to become a regular thing. After looking through my museum of odd drawings (if you don't remember, the links to most of them are all above) I've come to realize that I am perfectly more than capable of putting together weekly caption contests and make sure it keeps going =/
I want to start next Monday. I'll lay out my rules and they'll be copy/pasted into a permanent thread itself once I've got it figured out fully. Basically it'll run like this:
I post the image on Mondays between 7am-12am(Tuesday) CST [and I don't follow DST]
From then until midnight Saturday that same week I'll accept no more than two captions per person.
Sundays I'll pick one winner who is awarded bragging rights as well as one of these big ugly badges:
Where "this big ugly badge!" would usually be your name. I may add a border to this later. I'll probably put together a "Laugh of Fame" board to pile these stupid things in, or you could take the link and post it in your profile and let them build up because you like to brag like a winner.
The rest of you will go home crying like little girls.
I then chill out with a piña colada until I remember that OH CRAP, I still need to have a picture ready for Monday morning and then scribble the first thing that comes to my mind. Don't be surprised if it involves fire, women's underwear, Vincent Loque, or transvestites/gender-swapping.You see what I did there? Who else noticed that that all related to each other?
Monday we start the process all over again. And then we keep doing this until a.) everyone stops playing, b.) my hands get cut off, c.) I lose whatever fragmented pieces of my sanity are left, or d.) still open for suggestions.
The rules are simple:
1.) Only two entries per person per image.
2.) Whoever makes me laugh the most wins. This is based on a number of things such as your ability (or inability) to write coherently, witty lines, how much crap you rip off, how related/unrelated it is to the image itself, and if I've gotten no sleep for the past 30 hours.
3.) Caption-wise, nearly anything goes. Don't post dead baby jokes, those aren't funny.
K I'm done here now. I should hope people are on board for this thing.
