Greetings all and one, the name is Bunder Black/Lone Wolf/Anthony/that RPer. I'm known by some people, maybe including some admins (muaha- er no okay I'm quiet no DON'T ARGH).
It has come to my attention that this place is getting quite popular, so no danger of it dying, eh? (*winkwinknudgenudge*)
As for some people, this character might be familiar, but this is with several changes I have made after listening to a piano piece by Motoi Sakuraba. Changes that may come into effect sooner or later, for now here I am:
=====
Player: Bunder Black
Name: Bradley Turia Zaubereich
Description: To conserve an image of knowledge, Bradley goes around in heavy sorcerer robes, and carries a large warstaff. The robes are adorned with mystical-looking sculptures, including a tiara. When battle occurs, it is quickly dispelled by a minor spell to reveal a tall and lean man in black, proper clothes. The staff splits into two lights and become two rings, one multi-colored and the other grey.
Age: Prefers to keep quiet, looks around 30
Personality: Beneath the robes lay a calculating and cold mind with only one goal- pursue the quest to mastery, parallel to the quest of protecting a good cause. Recently, he has suffered a tragedy he rather not speak about, which forced him to lose most of his reserve and timidity, in order to 'un-learn' his knowledge of magic and 'learn' his new way. With it comes someone more open to hot-headed reactions. He can be truly dangerous- cold calculations and hot blood sometimes makes everything explode.
Place of Origin/Home: The Material Plane: A plane where technology and magic are at home in harmony, and where an eternal war opposing good and evil plays throughout the ages. More specifically, the kingdom of Kilshen, Capitol of Arcanes.
Alignment: Good
Occupation:
= Scholar: Charged by his home of Kilshen to wander and report new worlds' culture and technology, Bradley never strays from his innate knowledge-seeking nature. Where he finds something, he is quick to jolt it down in a worn note-book.
= Hero: In his home world, being a hero is more than being a legend for an obscure cause- being a hero is a distinguised title only given to those dedicated to protection and the war against an evil force of any kind.
Equipment:
- Heavy Sorcerer Robes: Heavy robes, dark green and beige in color. Several wooden sculptures adorn the robe, including a tiara for a mystical look. Their bulk bely their weight, which is considerably low for such an impressive outfit.
- Phylactery Clothes: Old clothes with a personal meaning, this black proper suit looks like a battle suit or a training suit, but is sleek enough to pass for a night ball.
- Worn Notebook: A large notebook already half-filled with information about other worlds and cultures. This notebook seems to have seen around a century of use.
- Neverending Plume: Using a minor spell of permanency, one can create a feather with infinite ink, like this one. A long peregrine falcon feather, it looks pristine.
Weapons:
- Kilshen Warstaff: A large, six foot war staff with ten prismatic stones upon the top and a large blade underneath. It is said to be able to ease one's use of ether, making it easy to use magic. With a spell, these become the...
- Kilshen Mana Rings: A pair of rings born from the splitting of the Kilshen Warstaff, these rings allow the manipulation of elements and origins: One is multicolored, and mostly used for elemental spells, and the other is grey, and mostly used for non-elemental magic or attacks.
Combat: He is a poor physical warrior. His punches or staff blows are very weak, and his natural speed and agility makes him a poor dodger.
Magic: Bradley was once a master of a thousand magic spheres, but after a tragedy, he seeks to unlearn such a prowess, setting himself on the path of the raw essence of magic. Using such spells in their raw state puts a strain on Brad's energy reserves, but he can use lower-ranked spells to manage his energy, using his new formulas.
Flaws:
- A poor physical warrior.
- Using stronger magic spells puts a considerate amount of strain, making it so strong attacks only come so sparse and few.
- He is still unused to let himself out, so he may be still reserved about doing something or saying something.
History: Hailing from the Kingdom of Kilshen, the Capitol of Magic, Bradley has been in touch with magic since his youngest days. He has grown to be one of the most revered mages, breaking records as soon as seven years old. He has been secluded for a good part of his life, reading on magic books and training himself in magic spheres. After a fateful meeting with the Material Plane's Savior, Bunder Black, he has become an Hero of the Material Plane, along with heroes Thomas Rathrem and Esteban Kanimure.
Recently, a tragedy forced him to rethink his whole life and training, and he strives to shave off his reserve to become stronger in time- and by doing so, after a large crisis, he decided to take a Plane Gate- a mystical structure that builds a pathway through worlds.
He has found himself in this world, and almost instinctively, has sought the forces of good to be one of their allies...
Requests: Hero, from another world. =D?
(OOC: Well, this is it. I'll leave you fine gentlemen and ladies to read this profile and judge wheter or not Brad would make a good addition. I may realise that how I've wrote it, he may be overall strong, but that would be a penalty of striving to be kickass too much- when it comes to RP, I have a hard time being humble. Gomen nasai...)
