CAPTION CONTEST WEEK #2  Jasmine: WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE OLD ENOUGH TO BE MY GRANDFATHER!!!!!!!!!! That was a real close one, there were several really good ones. This one made me smile just a liiiiittllle more though.  Also, I loved the ones that were recently submitted though sadly I couldn't consider them past Saturday night =p Still very funny though! Thanks for the laughs, guys.

CAPTION CONTEST WEEK #4  King Alex: Look, we have to go to this movie, there are so many reviews for it. Alexander: Just because there are reviews for it, doesn't mean they are good. I mean who wants to see a movie called "The Matrix: Reloaded"? Ahh, again this one was a very close one XDDD; You guys are amazing at this, really.

CAPTION CONTEST WEEK #5  Walking into Xisa's throne room to greet him, Zelos was not prepared for the Playgirl Magazine in Xisa's hands, and how it would forever change their relationship. Really good ones from everyone this week! You guys were very entertaining, it was so hard to choose from the many there were XD In other news, you can see I changed the badge--I tried to keep it as close to the original as I could as my old laptop (which was the one I had started doing the badges on with Photoshop) seems to be having itself a very nice hissy fit. And this new laptop I do not have Photoshop. I figured if I start doing anything professional I should actually own my programs to avoid things like "lol I made this--oh yeah, I illegally downloaded the software to do it. my bad?" SO I have Open Canvas (which the trial will run out soon for and I will need to buy it afterward) and GIMP (open source), which is what I used to create this. SO THERE YOU GO GUYS

 I'm so happy CJ won! And I HATE Gimp personally....but it is free. :3 I thought of the same thing with legal issues when it came to photoshop, plus I wanted the actual installation CD in case my computer needed to be wiped for some reason, so I actually did buy it last summer. It cost me like $200 but IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY! (Considering how often I use it XD; ) |

lol yeah, I couldn't figure out how to do the outlines for the text--took me nearly fourty minutes to play around with every logical possibility before I caved, looked up a tutorial for a six-step process. Photoshop would have been like, two buttons.
I do enjoy GIMP so far anyway for the fact that I can upload .PDF files to it and convert it to a workable image (which is what my scanner for some reason saves a lot of my images to) whereas Open Canvas cannot D: Either a.) I still have to play with Open Canvas because that seems silly and/or b.) I'm sure my scanner can scan things in other formats but I have to do it the long way as opposed to the convenient one-button-scan thing >>;
Open Canvas will cost me $85 or so, so that should be worth it I'd think |D;;; I have to see, otherwise I may just cave and go buy a version of Photoshop myself.

Yay for my vast immaturity! I knew it would net me something at some point in my life.  Anyway, you should've let me know that you wanted a version of Photoshop, Jess. Just like how I gave it to johnny, I can download a copy of it onto your computer. Seriously, it won't cost you a dime, and I have no problem doing this. Just let me know if you want a copy, 'kay? |

Nope. The disk I have has a version for mac and PC. You should just bring your laptop by on Sunday and I can get you set up.
