"The machines keep the people alive?"
Lana's gaze went back to the old man with the tubes coming out of him. As far as she knew, he'd done nothing to deserve a brutal beating or killing, the guy was just laying about waiting to be able to walk again.
She recalled how big this building was, and there were so many rooms down one hall...how many people were in here?
"This place could fill an army...." she'd started to mutter but then quickly shook herself out of it. She wasn't here to kill anyone, she was only here to complete the mission objective which was get that damn relic from Trucido while keeping Kouichi alive.
That meant they had to move the battle if they could. Giving a nod to Kouichi, Lana gave her sword a readied twirl, eager to and fully prepared to take to the hall again.
"Let's go kick some ass and take names a relic!"

Kouichi grinned. "I think... I'll go with your advice on doing the lion thing. Hopefully it doesn't give that poor old guy a heart attack. Just to be safe, I'll step outside as soon as I activate it - cover me. if it doesn't work, there's always this." He twirled his nagi in front of him.

Lana nodded.
"I can do exactly that. Just no hesitating, and no almost dying!" she snapped and gave one last glance to the old man before focusing on the situation at hand fully.

Kouichi nodded back. "Right! Three.... two... one..."
He rushed out into the hall and closed his eyes, calling on the power inside him. Darkness started to surround him, fully enveloping his body before fading away... revealing...
Nothing. No change he could see.
"Well.... so much for that idea."

Lana leaped after Kouichi, ready to start swinging her sword and taking down anyone who got in her way....
And noticed Kouichi didn't grow at all. How lame, what the hell was his prob--
Oh dear.
First it started as a snicker. Then it moved to a light chuckle, and then before she knew it Lana burst out laughing hysterically. Her whole body shook as much as she hated it and knew how bad it was for her to be doing it, what with the given situation and all.
But come on. Kouichi had cat ears sticking out of his head now...and a tail.
"Now that is something you haven't showed me - but seriously, we need your lion thing now. Out of the costume, quit f***ing around, and get with the program!"

He was clueless.
"Lana, you're starting to creep me out, you know. It didn't work... nothing happened..."

Trucido managed to get his whip into a window, and he pulls himself up. He then saw Killer 7 still standing there. He then saw Lana standing next to Kouichi, who suddenly became a were-cat "What happened to you? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! " He started to laugh at him, then he aimed his hand at Killer 7 "Aero" a funnel of air went towards Killer 7, ripping machines towards it and flailing them towards everyone.

Lana's face suddenly became a little more grave as Kouichi responded to her. Suddenly she raised an eyebrow at him and pointed at her head.
"You did something, Kouichi! There are these cat ears sticking out of your head, and you have yourself a tail! Don't you be telling me that nothing happened..."
She was cut short by the wave of an attack by Trucido, machines flailing and all. Lana brought herself back to attention, standing by Kouichi and trying to protect one of the beeping machines behind them.
"Trucido, what's your effing problem?!" she yelled.

"C-c-cat ears? Tail?!"
Needless to say, this news freaked him out, and one hand went flying up to his head where... sure enough... yeah, cat ears. He turned, almost panicked, to look... yeah, she was right about the tail, too. He shook his head - more important things to deal with. It felt a little wierd, but... well, that would probably natural.
"Come on Lana, if you can stop laughing long enough!" He ran out to the abandoned parking lot. "Hey! Trucido! Betcha can't catch me!" His... tail.... trailed behind him.
This was going to take getting used to.

Lana stared at Kouichi in bewilderment before calmly turning to Trucido.
"....Well, his family is rich...not that you need any money. They also hold a secret recipe for an ice cream flavour they believe is made for only a god's taste, but that's really not worth anything, I think..."

"Oh for f***'s sake, you piddle around any other time," Lana said, rolling her eyes recalling a few times when Trucido had become only too easily distracted and mislead by the sweet, frozen treat and the rest of them got to listen to Lilith's incessant grouching. She came right at Trucido as he swung his whip at Kouichi; she wouldn't be able to take the shot for Kouichi, but she was able to come with an attack at Trucido's back, slashing violently at him.
"Leave my f***ing cat--err, leave him out of this!!" Lana snapped.

He rolled aside, smiling as Trucido came after him, just as planned.
"I am not a cat," he replied, coming up with his nagi at the ready. "I..."
He swung at Trucido in a great sweeping strike from bottom to top. "...am a Lion!"
