(Yo volk, can you hold off until I post before throwing multiple attacks at me. it makes it a little difficult to respond as I have to go back and reply from the first attack and on. Thanks)
Seeing the lashing whip arch in his direction, Mask performs an acrobatic backflip, his size belying his incredible dexterity and agility. As he performed his deft maneuver, he quickly flicked the barrels of his guns open, finished loading them as he landed and stood ready, guns pointed forward as he waited for Trucido's next move.
It was a relief for Mask that the others had vacated the hallway, for his weapons were not meant to be wielded with people other than the target in question present. Sadly, Mask's peace of mind was quickly disturbed, along with his attention, as the duo rushed back into the hallway, weapons bared. Thankfully there attention seemed to be aimed at Trucido rather than Mask, as the one foe would prove difficult enough, but watching as the woman laughed at the boy's feline appearance, Mask believed that they would probably be more of an obstruction to his goal as opposed to an aid.
"I said run, leave him to me. You will only get yourself killed," Mask spoke in a soft tone, pointing one of his guns to the exit at the opposite end of the hall. Sadly though, it was in this moment of Mask's deterred attention that Trucido sprang through the gaping hole and released his torrent of cutting winds. As the whipping and cutting air encroached on the trio's position, Mask simply stepped in front of Lana and Kouichi, allowing the winds and storm of machinery to slam against him full force. As the gusts dissipated and the mechanical units fell to the ground, Mask stood, mostly unharmed by the arcane energies and metal shrapnel; a combination of his inhuman fortitude and the reduction in Trucido's power allowing him to withstand the blows with nothing more than a few minor cuts and bruises.
Mask grimaced to see his effort to protect the duo pointless as they charged forward, rendering Mask's explosive shots useless. "I tried," was all he muttered before his shape once again shifted back into the grimacing visage of Dan; the barrel of his massive gun pointed at Trucido.
"That's why you're f****** useless Mask, you sentimental piece of s***. I'll show you how the job gets done, and if one of these pansy f****** decides to get in my way, then I'll plaster their insides over these wall as well!" As Dan says this, his gun begins to glow with a menacing white energy, the power concentrating itself as a point of light at the barrel of his gun. Pulling the trigger, the point of light detaches and expands into a orb of glowing energy, it's size making it so that it could very well strike all three of the inter-dimensional travelers at once.
