"Well, well, If it isn't the one eye, one lance green hair heroes loser" Trucido said as he made fun of the song that was playing. "Do you think that you can beat me, with that limp?" He was ignoring Mark and Alex.

"...What?" Yeligar asked "Never mind. Well, I know that you used up almost what was left of your mana, in that fight. So, Why don't we do what Alex suggest and we dance for it."

"...Fine" He said as he looked at the dancers. He saw that they were couples dancing and some single people. "BUT, You can not dance. If you dance, then I will kill them and steal the relic."

((*prods Volk* XD;;; The heroes are all supposed to be here already, actually, so if they have been reading/paying attention, they should already all know what's going on...and could we not limit the couples who dance? Someone-who-shall-not-be-named and I have an idea....))
"But I can't help it, a pretty girl being so close and I do not have one of my own to love and hug, I have to make her mine--" And there was the punch to the jaw. Alexander stumbled to the ground, and as he got back up and felt his jaw (he swore he could feel something crack) he fell against a wall for support. He looked up at Mark with pitiful eyes.
"OKAY, I screwed up. I really, really screwed up with the other girl! But that broach I gave to Harumi wasn't ever meant to lead her into something un-ladylike, it was a gift! A harmless gift, a-and my fingers never travelled!" He would have continued with his dramatic display of...whatever you wanted to call it, but his eyes suddenly narrowed as he stared at Mark, changing his tone to something slightly venomous, "...wait a minute...how do you even know about all of this?! How did you know about our dance? The broach? Harumi at all?! You better not be stalking her, or so help me...!!!!"
It's okay, Alexander lost a few brain cells from the punch to the jaw...

*Okay, Mark didn't blame him for not guessing who he was, he looked like he could be her brother.*
Mark: I'm her father! *He growled then got ready to punch once more but he aimed right for his skull this time... then stopped. This guy was a kid, not even out of his teens, he was scared hell and he barely put up a fight. Mark growled but not to Alex but to himself, those eyes practically said 'mercy' ((at least till he started questions on how he knew her)), his fist shook as he decided what he would do.
*Finally he swung forward... right into the wall cracking it, he then bent down to look Alex in the eyes.*
Mark: Stay away from Harumi, or next time I won't miss. *He waited a moment for what he said to get through to him then stood up, taking a step or two back.*

Alexander's heart stopped the moment he mentioned 'father'. He then flinched as Mark's fist came out...and fluttered his eyes open as he heard the 'crack' of the wall and stared up at Mark, shaking uncontrollably.
'Come now, Alexander. This wasn't what a man did, your father would have told you that. It's a bad situation, but look at that man straight in the eyes and tell him you mean no harm, to him or his daughter. Do it for her.'
"Y-y-yes s-sir," Alexander stuttered, staying where he was on the ground, "I-I'm sorry."
Once upon a time, the young prince met a young lady who he thought would mean the very world to him. He sent her letters, poured his heart out to her... And her father threatened to kill him if he did it again. He backed out of it then, and never wrote to her ever again, nor saw the girl.
And five years later, he was letting it happen again. Different girl, different father, different set of circumstances, same outcome. What kind of a king was he, to be pushed around so easily? Bradley would have told Alexander, as he had many times before, that he was a failure. A big one.
Alexander swallowed the biggest lump in his throat then as his voice then squeaked out, "...M-Mr. Fri...?"

Seigmand could only stare, and shake his head as the short-tempered Mark struck at Alex without hesitation. While he was pleased to learn as much as he did from the ridiculous spat, he was glad to have it finally be over. The people in the building were staring with fear in their eyes and the sound of distant footsteps indicated that security was on its way. After all, you didn't just punch people through buildings without someone being alerted.
He grinned a took a few quick steps back into the crowd as a couple men in uniform barreled through the lobby doors, pausing for a moment before sliding the guns from their holsters and with their weapons pointed, they shouted, "Stop right there! Nobody move!" Their hands shook nervously as one questioned, "Does someone want to explain to me what the hell just happened here!?"

Alexander's stomach felt queasy. He couldn't tell if it was from all the emotional...whatever just happened and the pain finally settling in, or what it was. He stood up, leaning against the wall yet and frowned, wiping a small trickle of blood from his lip.
"Y-your daughter...she's...she's probably one of the most beautiful women I've ever met. You might not believe me, b-but you should when I say I...I won't hurt her," where was he going with this, he had no clue, "...I-I-I...perhaps...we could talk this out...later when things aren't...so...uh...w-when it is a better time..."

*Mark listened, his didn't seem like he was telling a lie, and under different circumstances he might have listened to him. But it was different, to different sides one trying to remake a world and the other stopping, by showing agreement it would be showing weakness, already he let him live and that was a bigger sign of weakness.*
Mark: I don't think you know what you got yourself into, we're on two different sides and for one of us, there won't be a better time. One of us two will most likely die. But it doesn't change the facts, I don't want Harumi to have anything to do with this war. *he spoke with less aggression in his voice but still showed no other emotions.* If you want someone to blame, blame yourself for letting Trucido control you.
*He was silent, maybe this guy really did love Harumi, but it wasn't a time for these thoughts.*

Kouji stood leaning against a wall, trying not to chuckle at Mark and Alexander's fight. Something about his pose said he didn't give a crap about anything, nonchalantness oozing from his form. It was a talent of his.
Kouichi didn't look impressed - rather, he stood next to Lana, silently backing her up. Somewhere, he'd acquired a blue baseball cap to cover his new ears.

Okay, shutting up. Shutting up now. There wasn't a way to describe exactly how embarrassed Alexander was at the moment. He just got the crap beaten out of him by the man he did not want to get into a fight with. How degrading was this, being the king of your own country and some random civilian totally wasted you like you were nothing?
However, as humiliating as it was, Alexander preferred that he took the beating himself instead of letting Trucido step in to help him...again. He always hid behind Trucido, or rather, Trucido stepped in front of him all the time to help him and Alexander was never man enough to tell him to stay out of it.
Well, until now. You'd think Alexander would have felt proud of himself, felt like a real man at the moment for dealing with this himself. In the end, maybe he would feel better, but right now it didn't matter as Mark ended it with the very words that seemed to crush any and all pride Alexander had.
'...If you want someone to blame, blame yourself for letting Trucido control you...'
Alexander had replied with nothing. He didn't want to say anything and how could he? He couldn't stand there arguing that Trucido didn't control him because it was the truth and Alexander knew it. And it was because Trucido controlled his life that he was in all of this mess, having to figure his way out of it. Through the uncontrollable shaking he stepped off, giving only a genuinely polite bow to Mark as he passed by, almost ignoring the security guards who'd shown up.
"It was my fault," he quietly assured the guards, "he was just straightening me out, was all. I won't act up again."

Lana raised an eyebrow as she turned her head in Kouichi's direction.
"So...we're getting the relic now, right? I'm sure we can just thieve it while Trucido's attention is distracted, as well as everyone elses' thanks to Dumb and Dumber over there..."

"Steal it...? But... dumb as he is, Alexander's right, we shouldn't just take it..." He seemed uncomfortable about the idea. "Besides, Trucido's proably expecting something like that. He's not exactly dumb."
