Kouichi ran ahead, glancing back to make sure Lana was okay. Kouji ran up beside Jasmine on the other side, staff at the ready, nodding to Miri.

Seigmand flared his nostrils as he stared at Trucido. "Hmph, I assure you my ears work fine m'lord. Merely reassuring that your plan was well thought out enough. I only fear you underestimate the Heroes is all." Seigmand looked the portal up and down and took the situation in.
"On second thought sir, I believe that I shall stay till the very end. Not to doubt your wisdom, only to ensure that nothing happens to Queen Lilith or yourself. The Heroes are at our heels, and by their pace they should be here in mere moments." Seigmand looked towards the thick brush that obscured their view. The soft rustling of distant leaves and the crunching of branches underfoot confirmed his views; the Heroes were as good as here.

*Mark was a bit surprised by his speed but recovered quickly and blocked his blow, he then toke a step to the left still holding back Night's blade but now being at his side which was now left open for Mark to jab at with his second blade, although he had strain on his arm so the jab didn't have the power he wanted.*

Night received a wound on his side. He would expected a deeper wound, but it did not matter. He quickly stab his sword into Mark's arm. He quickly pulled out the sword and swung his sword at Andy's stomach.

[Hey Night? Let's try to keep away from the one shots without giving a player a chance, ok? It's very annoying.]
*Mark rubbed his shoulder then casts a cure on it, didn't heal much but enough to stop the bleeding. Mark twirled one of his blades and threw it at his back then rushed up.*

Night felt the blade going to his back. He dived down, and he hopped up. He grabbed his back and rubbed the bloody spot.
"Hmm. So, you ain't a normal soldier. That is good to know." He smiled and charged at him.

*Mark side stepped but received a cut on his arm, not worth giving out strength to heal but it was annoying. He quickly summoned his blade back and slashed at him trying to keep him on the offensive.*
I'll admit this guy is nuts, he's not even fazed by a blade going into his back even I would give out someway of distress and I've been trained to resist pain!
Mark: Oh really? Hmmm, I'm just a normal Private from Santo-Luce, does that bother you? Being beat by a Private? *That was truly his rank, and Mark knew he shouldn't be teasing but if he could have him focus on him then Andy could take the finishing blow.*

"Private, eh?" Night asked "Rank in Santo-Luce has no important to me." He looked and there was a faint yellow arua. He blocked his blade, and pushed him off of him.

Jasmine smiled gratefully at Miri and Kouji for sticking close to her. She had hoped it would have made her feel better about herself, taking a little bit of the lead, but she had to remember that Lana was the one who pushed her to move ahead to begin with.
"I-I'm Jasmine, miss," Jasmine replied to Miri quietly, "Jasmine Loque, I am a sage, and currently learning holy abilities from the Crepusculum gods. Who are you?"

Alexander yelped only a little as Alex lifted him up and carried him high up and into the woods where the rest of the Sumata were. As Alexander hit the ground, he took off running toward Trucido, figuring reporting to the boss would have been the best plan of action.
"Hey, what's going on?!" Alexander blurted as they ran toward the group. He stopped close to Trucido and Seigmand and stared on ahead into the woods where Seigmand had been previously looking. There were people in there...and a lot of them.
"Uh...are there supposed to be people watching us, man?" Alexander asked worriedly.

Every time Kouichi looked back Lana's face hadn't changed. Her sword was held tightly, and she was ready for a battle wherever it came from...and whoever it was with.
"Quit giving me that look," she eventually called out to him, "you heard what I said to the blonde girl up there - you guys need to watch what's coming in front of us. The only real threat behind us is Night, if he gets passed the other three and I can take him if it comes to that. You have several others to worry about right in front of us, though."
