Lana was quite unmoved by Mark's demands, and merely raised and eyebrow at him as he gave everyone a cold stare down.
"You'd make a terrible army head," she scoffed at Mark, leaning against a wall with her arms crossed. At the same time, she couldn't help but laugh at Jasmine and how easily startled she was.
"You really are jumpy, aren't you? Especially when he's not around," she changed her smile to a frown then, "you know that in some places of the world, women like you get spat on? It's because you're easy to push around - do you know what men do to women like that? Learn how to hit someone, kid."

*Mark stared at Lana and walked up to her.*
Mark: Listen here, Lana if you have anything to say it will be said to ME not any of my soldiers! *Mark was in charge for a bit, to control everyone he had to act as if they were part of his battalion.* I don't see you as a part of this team, just a bug that once you become to annoying I will squash.
*He turned to Jasmine not letting up his cold face.*
She is not meant for the battlefield...
Mark: Jasmine do not apologize, we are at war now we must stay alert and keep in line. *Mark said trying to make her understand that he wasn't 'mad', well maybe at Lana.* Anyway for now we lay low till Yeligar get's back then we await further orders from him, everyone understand?

"Alright then...I think you are terrible at keeping your 'troops' in order, and that ragdoll needs to learn how to punch you in the gut," Lana grinned, referring to Jasmine. Flicking her bangs out of her face, she continued, "I'm not part of your team, no. I'm not part of any team but my own at the moment because quite frankly, none of you care about any of my specialities, let alone how they could benefit you. This is because you're all blinded with pure hatred for the Sumata, and despite you all knowing my delicate situation with them you still treat me like a traitor."
She paused for a moment before she gave a snarky shrug. "I'm not saying you don't have the right to feel that way, but at the same time I think you should realize exactly why I don't bother trying to be part of your 'team' - why should I? I could backstab you and you'll hate me. I could help you and you'll still hate me. Kouichi's the only one out of your entire group that's not biased in any way, shape, or form."
Lana stared Mark in the eye, still unafraid of him or how he was acting, and keeping her face stern to show to every one of the heroes in the group watching just how serious she was in her accusations.
And she fully believed she was right. She'd done nothing (aside from attack Andy) to them since she started following them. She didn't believe they should fully trust her (why would they?), but at the same time she knew only too well that they still hadn't been playing too fair with her.
Did she care? No, not really.
But she was getting sick of hearing the "you're not trying to be part of us" BS.

I have my reasons... I've seen what your people done.
*He thought referring to the war.*
Mark: All you do is put up a front of bravery but really? You're afraid... although not of me... and that's why you're using us to protect you. Why we are heroes trying to save thousands, no billions of people from the Sumata why you just seem to care for yourself and only yourself.
*The next words he growled out.*
Mark: And if by some chance you aren't as you seem I want you to look me in the eyes and tell me you actually care. Do that and I'll let you tag along if not then hit the road.

Jasmine stared up at Mark, studying the features on his face while hugging her book close, yet. She couldn't argue with him, he was right, it was important for them to keep calm and alert at all times especially with the situation at hand.
She bit her lip and nodded slowly and quietly at him. 'There's no time for being scared, we have to look out for each other...
Jasmine wouldn't answer Lana, though. At first, she was quite offended by Lana's remark about them all being biased and unfair to her. If Jasmine remembered correctly--which she did--Lana tried to kill them and kidnap Kara the first time they'd run into her.
Since then, she hadn't seen a ton of Lana except in passing at the ball, and now when suddenly she appeared to be an ally of Kouichi's? Jasmine never knew Kouichi too well, either, so it was hard to pass judgement on that, too.
Jasmine mumbled another "I'm sorry," but towards Lana finally. In some ways, she could understand what Lana was saying and she was right. At the same time, Jasmine was still firm in her own beliefs. And most of her beliefs fell under "believe in what the gods want" and "if Andy doesn't like it, then I most likely won't, either." She'd rather be safe than sorry.

"I'm not scared of anything, even death itself. Ask Angelus," Lana calmly replied, jerking her head in Angelus' direction.
However, that was beyond the point. She couldn't believe just how obnoxious a guy Mark was...and egotistical. She never moved once from her position, and her eyes grew rather cold as they bore into Mark's.
"I'm not using anyone. I don't need any of you to care for me. And in truth, I don't care about any of you--" 'except for one...'
"I don't have a reason to care for you, to top it off..." 'But I think I have a reason for being here...'
And in turn, she growled out her last words to Mark, too.
"I'm not leaving either because I have someone to protect."
'I don't care about anything or anyone, not even myself, regardless of what that jackass thinks. But I do care about something...not their cause, not Trucido's cause, I don't want to be part of any of it. I have to be though, because the thing I think I actually care for is part of it...
And I don't think any of these incompetent fools are going to be able to protect it...'

Mark: Fool... everyone is afraid of something, it is what makes us human. *He said breaking the glare, his cold voice lessened he was satisfied with her answer.* Someone to protect, eh? Good answer, Lana but as long as we're in the same group we will take orders from whoever gets put in charge, if we do not trust our own team we can not succeed against the Sumata. Alright?

Lana rolled her eyes.
"Whoever is put in charge...you mean you, right? A little power-hungry, are we? Typically the powerful are the ones who fall first," Lana on the other hand never did pull her glare away, though as Mark's voice relaxed hers did too, "if anything, you're the fools in this war. You let your enemies know your fears - the best way to keep them from knowing is to fool yourself into thinking you don't have anything to be afraid of...and then act on it. That's why I'm not afraid of anything."
Of course Lana had fears. But she sure as hell wasn't going to share it with any of them.
She finally grinned at Mark again as she ended it with, "And I'll follow only your logical orders. I am not your puppy, I will not sit as you command....or get into your stupid line. If Trucido storms in here and starts tearing up the place, I may follow a strategy that is logically laid out for me to slice at his head with my sword if you give it to me, but other than that I am not easily pushed around like the rest of you."
Lana Princel. Always defied authority until she was the authority. Then? No one dared defy her. And now back at square one where she had no title to her name (....well, maybe "rogue captain", which wasn't very honourable at all), she was back to defying authority.
It was the way of life.

*In an alley a mile or so away from the group, Yeligar sat down and glanced around* "Alright, now I am going to contact her now, I am glad that the one place in the airport were selling maps..." Yeligar said, as He closed his eye and lean back against the wall. "Remember no one touches me. Ready, Andy?"

"Just do it already," Andy was getting annoyed standing in one place too long. He was antsy, he knew the Sumata were ahead of him and he hated that.

"Alright." He said as he started to mutter words to himself. Then he started to shake violently, his eye opened up and the eye had rolled to the back of his head. He, then, pulled out a knife from his ankle, and prick his finger. He scanned the map, and pressed the bloody finger to a part of the map. It was in the woods near a circular part of the river. His eye then rolled back and he then vomited, after the ordeal. "Ok, let's go back to the group and tell them we know where to go." He said happily

Andy tried to remain ignorant to the little episode, he picked the map up for Yeligar and walked up to the group. Pointing his finger at the spot on the map.
"Yeligar figured out where to go."

"Northeast of here, until we hit the river, and then we go with the river, until we hit the whirlpool. Then they are in the woods near that spot." Yeligar said "Now, we have to move."
